So, we think Audrey is saying her first word. This whole week she's been saying it and waving. She's such a cutiehead!

More of Audrey's dance moves...she always starts boppin' when music comes on, she's much more interested in music than Lucy!

My big brother the ROCKSTAR!

My brother has been into music ever since I can remember. He formed his own band in high school and played the guitar and was the lead singer. Throughout life he's tried other avenues to make a living, but music is his passion. He isn't truly happy doing anything else, so for the best few years he's been producing music and getting some great experience. He lived in L.A. and witnessed some friends of his make it big (i.e. One Republic & Colbie Caillat). So now, at 36 years old, he has just finished working on his first album. He found some talented artists to form the band JUNENINE. He plays the lead guitar and wrote all the music & helped with lyrics. His music style is soulful and chill--AND IT ROCKS! The lead singer has an amazing voice AND I think he's pretty cute! Check out the JUNENINE myspace page to hear two of the songs or send the text to get a free download of an awesome song! Friday I'm in love...

I'm in love with my girls. If one is laying on her tummy or back then the other one likes to plop right on top. It makes for some great giggles as they struggle to get free (and sometimes a not so great cry). Usually, Lucy does the plopping on top of Audrey, but I have seen Audrey do it to Lucy a few times. They've been doing it alot today and I love it. They also wake up from naps giggling at each other across the room. I guess everything is just so funny when you're a baby.

Tuesday twin tidbit

Audrey always starts bouncing when we put some music on and if she is standing, she will bounce and tap her foot. Lucy kind of headbangs and twists around--she's a bit crazier.

These are a couple videos of Lucy finding the soft pink part of her blankie. We just noticed her doing this a couple of weeks ago when it took her awhile of flipping it around and around until she finally found it. We think it is pretty cute how she searches for it.

I love babies...

I love all babies, but of course I especially love our babies. I love watching them play with German. When he is around I am pretty much invisible, to which I pretend to be offended, but secretly I actually LOVE it (I like having a bit of a break). They are so active and curious...it is amazing to witness their little brains processing so much information. Lucy has taken a few steps here and there. She is nowhere near mastering it and who knows when I'll get it on video. But you can be sure when I do, it will go on here! They are soo much fun, I love them lots and lots!

10K race results and pictures

The results are posted and my official time was 1:17:58. I really need to work on my speed...but hey I finished and I'm not too sore. My sister and mom came to cheer me on and take pics. They even brought me flowers and balloons--thanks! The girls were napping, so German arrived with them shortly after I finished. I've really gotten the race bug and can't wait until the next one!

My 100th POST--the 10K is over!

I finished the 10K this morning and I'm pooped, so I'll post pictures later. I didn't get my exact time yet, but it was about 1 hour 16 minutes. It was fun and I saw an old Wyview/bloggy friend Melissa Zuber--she wasted me, though! I almost made my goal of 75 minutes, but oh well, I think I did OK considering I only started running about 7 weeks ago. I'm really happy about it (I was worried it would take me an hour and half)! There were some very slight uphill spots that killed me, so I am going to work on that. I think I'll do another 10K or two to prep for the Canyonlands Half Marathon in Moab on March 21st, 2009. German says he's going to do it with me, the scenery looks amazing!
