MIT is Over

I completed my final assignment at MIT last Thursday. It would have been an extremely joyous occasion if I weren't allergy stricken. I'm not even absolutely certain if it's the hay fever or a cold bug. Some of my irregular symptoms for the past two weeks include itchy and watery eyes, blocked nose, shoulder and back aches, and headaches.

Besides dealing with the horrible symptoms, I'm taking more working hours at my desk job and trying to plan what I would like to see in my new blog. If you have any suggestions, don't hesitate to post them in the comments.

Oh... and my graduation ceremony will be held on June 6th. :)

It's my Birthday!

A year older in age, but still the same childish me.

In about a week, hellish-MIT will be over!!

This blog will probably see it's end very soon and hopefully be replaced by another, M@M?

Surging Oil Prices

I've never known diesel prices to be higher than gasoline.

Do you know...

It costs about $1189 to fill a 250-gallon-tank of a truck (or otherwise known as a lorry in the British influenced countries). That's astonishing! Those poor truckers are having it hard while the oil companies bask in joy with their giant profit. :(

Estrangement

Yesterday was my first time in weeks since I turned on my old Toshiba laptop; I simply wanted to observe a user interface on a PC.

Using the laptop that was dear to my heart for the past three years, was FOREIGN! The keyboard I raved about felt hostile under my fingertips. I kept hitting the wrong keys, namely Alt-S to save, instead of the rightfully PC-way, Ctrl-S. The screen is small and the display crummy. Furthermore, the processor is outrageously slow.

It's just so amazing how we get attached to something (or someone) and then when we finally decide to move on, we ask ourselves just why didn't we make the change earlier.

Simultaneously, there's a sense of estrangement. I used the Toshiba day in and day out - I shared my joy, my tears, and my toil with my Toshiba... but, now I just can't. The chemistry is lost. :)

We can attribute this to human nature and time -- with the antiquated saying "Time heals (changes) everything".

Relieved...

Microelectronics and Circuits Examination

Class Average: 63%
Class Median: 67%
Standard Deviation: 17
Grade Range: 18% to 90%.

I had the above information since Friday. I was worried sick about where I would fall in that range as I thought I did poorly on the night of the examination.

I just received my grade several minutes ago and thankfully it is FAR BETTER than I expected.

I'm Relieved!

I'm bored!

Work is there but I'm not in the mood to tool.

Bed is there, albeit a tad messy, but I'm not quite sleepy yet.

Friends happen to be busy at work. Boo!

My latest online craze (Yahoo! Bookworm) has thankfully bore me to death already.

What to do?

I finally got my first Mac. Yippeee! No more Windows...

Did I also mention that I have Linux installed on my Toshiba laptop? ;)
