what good is having leave, off-in-lieus, when there is no time for leave and urgent matters need to be resolved when I'm not around? what's the purpose of this work?

Thoughts / Opinions

When we are made in God's eyes, the intent is for us to be pure. However, it is natural for human to sin. If we are sinners, then what right do we have to judge others or to offer our opinion of others? Roles in society are put in place to judge a person on trial due to seriousness of their crime. Sisters and brothers are put in place to judge whether their fellow sibling had veered off the recommended Christian walk. We understand that our daily decision is to be for the audience of One, not for the audience of human. Then why does opinions of family/close friends matter when it comes to making life changing decisions? Is it due to man-set expectations? At the same time, we are called to submit to authority and to honor our parents. Naturally, parents will want the best for their children (I hope its not to use the child to fulfill self unmet aspirations), and thus we should obey them if it's in line with God's plan? What's God's plan for me? Will I be brave enough to step up? Will I be even ready to commit to the next stage of life?

Biblical version of Marriage

Though the male leads the household, bible verses should not be quoted to reinforce one's point of view during an argument. "The bible states so here, and so you must listen to me". In prayer, do not reprimand the partner Worth noting points...

Marriage Prep Course

August 2012 A year since Ronnie has left. How much has changed in my life? Physically, I will say not much except for a few pounds lost. Still 9 more kg to go. In terms of time management, things has gotten better at work only in July, after the new fiscal year has started and my role converted to perm. I believe there will be more structure in my role VS when I was on contract and the portfolio was expendable at any point of time. Appreciate the opportunity given. More work life balance since the team is expanding! More time for God, family and me-time too. R has started work, been close to 3 weeks and he's twirled deeply in his work already, have to work on weekends as well. Well, not sure how we're going to manage our time spent together but I trust that we will make time for each other. :) We've signed up for marriage prep course in BRMC. This is something I find really important and want to go through so as to get a reality check of what to expect for marriage. Esp for a marriage that is built on Christian values. Glad that he's open to attending it and is willing to commit time to it over the next 5 weeks. Though we have not discussed details of marriage, I really hope for a fruitful outcome where both of us have the right expectation of marriage. Do I still bank on the idea of R being a christian? Sure I do, but I'll leave it up to God's timing. It should be a willing step of faith taken by him but not a forced step he needs to take just because we want to get married in future.
