Synchronic Swimming Contest

As you probably already know is my eldest daughter's favorite sport swimming, especially synchronic swimming. Last saturday they had a contest in 'Maesemunde' at 's Gravesande. There were groups from all over the country and it was fun to watch all the girls in their glitter and glimmer bading suits performing their talents on all kinds of music. Eline's groups ended up at the 10th place, which was real good!

If you wanna see them swimming, saturday April 5th they will show up again at 'De Kuil' at Bodegraven between 16:00 and 19:30.

Meet and greet with Tim Holtz

I think it was only two weeks ago I read on the internet that the one and only Tim Holtz of Ranger Ink had plans to visit The Netherlands. Only two stores were lucky to have him coming over for showing his true fans how he makes his projects.
I ask Susan, a dear scrapfriend of me (who absolute adores his work) to accompany me and so we drove to the store called 'Scrappendoejezo' located in Ede. Because we had never been in that store before and wanted to look around for a while before meeting Mr. Tim, we arrived almost an hour before we're scheduled to 'meet and greet' him.
If we had known before that the schedule didn't work because he took so much time for each group, we sure had come later ;-)

He is absolutely gorgious and such a nice person; he showed us so many ways to use the Ranger products, we were able to ask him all about stamping and he took all time to learn us the ropes. We only had to remember everything.

It was a long afternoon but it was sure worth the ride AND the waiting :-)
