Sint Nicholas evening

Today it is December 5th and so families with little children celebrate 'Sint Nicholas' present evening' tonight. Because our girls are already 15 and 12 years old and don't believe anymore that Sint Nicholas really exists we only have a nice evening with hot chocalate and some cookies we call 'speculaas'. And for the first time Eline our oldest will be a Black Pete and assist Sint Nicholas when he visits families to bring the presents. I hope I can make a few nice pictures of Eline AKA Black Pete today and will post them ASAP ;-)

Meanwhile I start to decorate the house with Christmas elements and get a tree to decorate so we enjoy the dark days before Christmas with joy and happiness.

Got my own QK-Silhouette, yes!!!

Last week I finally got my own Quickutz Silhouette and I have to say that it is word the money!!! I downloaded some GSD-files and started to design and cut. I added a picture of my Christmas presents which my costumers will get when they visit my studio in November or December. I use design ' carton-handle 0206' from http://www.quickutz.com/ to make the boxes, Bazzill cardstock Ivy and some designpaper of Making Memories. In the box I putted a little can with deadseasalt to use in a footbath. I hope everyone appreciates it and will relax through it :o)

Christmas cards....

The crop at Scrapware in Hillegom was nice, the table was just big enough to set us all :-) Everybody worked very hard, there were a lot of silent moments due to the hard working and therfor some finished their project. I only folded a few cartons and started to organize my Christmas cards. Not to much but enough for the evening. I had nice conversations with the other girls and it was inspiring to see all trips and tricks!
