Four Friends

I watch two boys for one of our friends a couple days a week. Aiden is four and Keegan is almost two. YES, it does get confusing at times to have two Keegan's in the house. For the most part, the four kids get along pretty well. This is all of them playing outside on their bikes.

The Dog

Mya and Keegan love the dog at our friends house. THIS IS NOT OUR DOG. We talk about getting a pet for the kids when we get a house, but right now they enjoy playing with our friends dog.

Fun in the Sun

It is still warm for the most part of the day. Our apartment was warm enough when I came home that I turned on the air conditioner. I thought it would be fun to post some pictures of the kids playing outside in the warm weather.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

We had our ward carnival this weekend. Most of the booths at the carnival were for the kids. Gerald decided to try one of the booths. They had four boxes that you put your hand into and you have to guess what is inside without looking. The second box was tuna fish and the third box was some VERY QUIET chickens. The tuna fish was a set up so that when the chickens smelled it they would get excited. It was pretty funny to see Gerald's reaction to that box. I got a good laugh.

Halloween Carnival

Mya was Princess Bell and Keegan was a duck. I painted Mya's fingernails and put a little make-up on and she really thought that she was a princess. I even let her ware the tiara that I wore at our wedding. She kept telling everyone that it was pretty.

WEATHER

So-

It finally got cold enough to put on long sleeved shirts today. The weatherman said that it is about 60 degrees outside. I thought this would be interesting to post because we were starting to think that our warm clothes would never be used down here =)

Halloween Package

Grandma sent a package for Halloween. This is a video of the kids opening up the package!

Keegan Dancing

Keegan has caught on to the "Happy Feet" movie and this is the dance that he has learned to perform for everyone.

Gerald loves his job. He really relates to the kids that he teaches. Gerald keeps up with the college football teams while he is putting together lesson plans. ESPN is on at our house whenever Gerald is home. Mya and Keegan are always in trouble and Megan gets to be the referee. Hope things are going well for all your families

Mya and Keegan Love Each Other

We are so lucky that Mya and Keegan get along with each other. They are good friends and will play in the bedroom for a while when I need to get things done around the house. Keegan loves to do whatever Mya is doing. Mya will sit and read books to Keegan and get him to repeat words. At least they can entertain each other. On the flip side, when one is in trouble usually the other one is involved too. Everyday is a challenge with it's rewards.

Mya's Hair

It takes FOREVER to do Mya's hair. Today it took me about five hours. I will leave it in for about three weeks and then it will take me five hours to take it out. She is content to watch her movies while I do it. Sometimes I have to bribe her with food to sit still for that long, but eventually we get it done. Here are some during and some after shots.
