Grandma and Grandpa Cannon

We had a fun visit from Erik's parents last week. Our kids were in heaven with all the attention. Erik's dad did some AWESOME yardwork for us (thanks again!!!) and Kay made sure I didn't put Gabe down for one nap or bedtime. Grandparents are great!

Last Day of Preschool

I can only imagine how my parents feel having their youngest child graduate from highschool this year.

Put some South in yo' Mouth

We ate very well in Savannah. I'm a big fan of Paula Deen, so I was very excited to eat at her restaurant. I was not disappointed! Of course we visited her store next door. She has her name on just about everything. I liked the chapstick that said "put some south on your mouth" but I ended up with an apron that says "Hey Y'all!"

The Beach

We spent Friday on Tybee Island at the beach. The baby girls were (of course!) dressed alike.

Gabe was definitely in his element.
Grace...not so much.

Zzzzzzz

Something about the combination of heat, humidity and tourism that puts a kid to sleep.

Savannah

Ever since we moved to Georgia I've wanted to visit Savannah. We finally did it last week! To make it even better, we went with my sister and her husband and baby Elle.

We had to take this for my mom - she calls Gabe "Peanut."

Cousins!

Yay! We are so happy to finally have a cousin! Elle and Grace are just 5 days apart. We had such a great time playing with Laci, Daniel and little Elle! When we dropped them off at the airport, Gabe stuck out his bottom lip and said "We don't want Aunt Lace to leave us, we'll be sad!" Indeed.

Millions of Peaches, Peaches for Me

Living in Georgia, we've made it our tradition to make peaches the first non-cereal food the kids taste.

4 months and change

How did 4 months pass since Grace was born? Amazing. I miss the tiny newborn cuddles, but I'm not complaining. I'll take a full night's rest and a day full of giggles!
We had Kimball at our house and couldn't resist a picture of the matching babies. This could go in their wedding announcement.

And, I had to post this from Grace's room. Ali is SO talented and put together this beautiful vinyl for me. Check out her blog below (Accents by Ali)!
