This is love...

Image

Sharing the love today with these adorable images from both Snips & Snails and Sugar & Spice. How sweet they are and just in time for those spring and summer weddings.
Image

Although the stamps are a rectangle shape, I liked the idea of creating something similar to game pieces. Added the top portion of a glassine bag to the front of the card, backed each stamped circle with foam tape and mounted the boy and girl images inside the bag. Used the circle stamps from Coffee Break and a heart punch to add a little detail to the outside of the bag.

Pinwheel pup!

Happy Monday everyone!
The card that I am sharing with you today use Cosmo Pups stamp set on images and title.

I stamped the sentiment on the cardstock sticker and adhere it on top of twine. I wrap it around the card repeatedly and created a bow to finish. This squared body puppy is my one of favorite images on the stamp set! They all are too cute... To add some :happiness" to the card, I added pin wheel on top of the card with XOXO sticker from Crate Paper.
This card is pretty simple to create and with the generic title such as "happy tail to you!", it is great for any occasion...

Other Materials:
American Crafts cardstock
Crate Paper patterned paper
Crate Paper cardstock sticker
Papertreyink twine
Queen & Co pearl
Ranger ink

Dancin' in the rain...

Image

You're invited today to dance in the rain. Why not? I remember this moment a few years back while my mother was visiting. It was raining, obviously, and we decided to let the kids run around outside and just get wet. The giggles, smiles and splashing were captured in a few minutes of video and photos and loved every minute of it. An unusual concept for the little ones realizing you can get wet, put down the umbrellas and just go for it.

Image

Used Gel-A-Tins Love Knots and Coffee Break for this layout. Found the sentiments in the coffee break set to be fitting.

Supplies:
Gel-A-Tins Love Knots
Gel-A-Tins Coffee Break
Heidi Swapp - paper
Epiphany Crafts - circle punch
Vintage Street Market - film strip, tape
Simple Stories - sentiment and alpha stickers

Bundle...

Image

Happy Tuesday! Here today to share with you a special card and gift box set that you can put together in under thirty minutes. Used Gel-A-Tins Sugar & Spice stamp set to create something for the little one.

Image

So here we go...
Card:
1. Begin with a folded cardstock and cut piece of paper for the front of the card. Stamp with Gel-A-Tins Coffee Break full circle to create a polka-dot effect. Cut smaller piece of paper, this can be any size just wide enough to fit the stamped images inside. Add fabric to the bottom, backside of the smaller piece of paper and sew onto larger (card front) piece of paper. Adhere to cardstock.
2. Add ribbon to center of card.
3. Stamp three images using Gel-A-Tins Sugar & Spice, cut out and mount onto card.
4. Add pom-pom trim, ric-rac, flower and glitter to card.
5. Die cut circle, stamp with Coffee Break Circle and sentiment stamps. Cut in half and adhere to card.

Image

The gift box was quite fun.
Gift Box:
1. Cut 2 pieces of cardstock. Stamp with Coffee Break and Love Knots.
2. Cut strip of cardstock, which will be used to create the box and score to create the bottom and sides of the box. Use your previously cut front and back side of the box as a guide to cutting and folding this piece.
3. Die cut two large circles, die cutting a smaller circle in the center. Die cut half of smaller circle at the top of the front and back. Adhere together.
4. Adhere the bag together and add embellishments.

When you are in love...

Image

When I first saw these boy and girl stamps from Gel-A-Tins new release (Sugar & Spice and Snips & Snails) I knew they were meant for each other. So sweet, so easy to stamp and just perfect for Valentine's Day!

Image

Along with using these sets I also added a few others that you may recognize. Stamped along the bottom edge of the card is Coffee Break's circle stamp. The sentiment stamped scallop border is lightly stamped pink using Love Knots. And lastly, I used Love Knots to stamp a single heart, trimmed, mounted onto the girl image and glittered. Lots of subtle layers using a variety of stamps to give this card a completely romantic look.

Stamp it out...

Image

How do you create a border? Ribbon, felt, die cut, punch, or all of the above? Here to share with you today a card I created using Coffee Break and Love Knots and a few die cut circles and scallop borders. I love white and cream paper, pulling out my ink pads and giving the paper a little brush of color. Something subtle for this one with light pink and teal for the circles and olive green for the scallops.

Image

Die cut two circles and stamp with the Coffee Break circle stamp. Cut each one in half. Adhere them to the front of the card, in a line, using foam tape. Die cut scallop border and stamp with Love Knots. Score along the top of the border, fold and adhere top portion above circle border. Repeat each as desired. Added a few pearls to cover the overlap and give it a little something special. It's now time to create your own borders. Enjoy!

Time is limited these days, especially during the holidays. Between the morning rush and a packed afternoon, this little note card set can be put together in as little as 15 minutes.
