+ LeavingCanB

The crowd at can B has lessen over the semesters. What used to be a really crowded place with kiasu people making 'reservations' as early as 5pm, has seen the canteen only half occupied. Is it because of the removal of the fans at the outer perimeter, or is it because of the poorer lighting conditions at some areas? Where then do the people study? Most hiding in the comfort of their rooms? Maybe again, it's a hassle to travel out here. Well, i thought this is a quite a good place to hang out. Able to take breaks in between to chat with friends and seeing people all mugging away makes you want to mug to. Familiar faces you see every other day somehow gives you a sense of belonging.
Goodbye
So here, i take my bow to this wonderful place and am sure i might just visit her again someday.

+ HallCookedMeal

Left with much food in the fridge, MS and I decided that we should clear the stocks before the exams end. Armed with a tray of eggs, cheese, hotdogs, crab sticks and pasta, we whipped up a delicious meal of pasta and omelette for ourselves. Between going to dinner with a babe and having a brotherhood meal, we chose the latter. We gotta be crazy but that's what we did. HAHA.
Slurps
Doesn't the meal look so yummy?? *slurps* We could show the girls a thing or two about cooking. Boy is it hard to find a babe who cooks nowadays. Anyway, MS has been a great supper kaki! Enjoyed the late night suppers we've dude. BURPPPppp!

+ Half-way Through

I'm Back!! At least for a short while. It's been 2 weeks since i've done this. How time flies in a blink of an eye. I'm giving myself 10mins on this. Haha. Somehow, i don't mind if this exam period stretches a bit longer. Not because i love studying (learning is fun but not studying) but rather i find myself hanging out more with my friends during this period and making more new friends in the course of mugging away too. Anyway, i've finally found a picture of me in action. Finally!! And i thought it looks great.

SoccerAction

Hang in there. It's all going to be over soon. You'll know it's true the next time you read another thread of mine. ;)

+ Good luck to you all!!

Gonna take a break from here for awhile to concentrate on my studies. I've placed a four-leaf clover here for good luck. 'Touch' the leaf and it would give you luck. Try it. I too wish you a rash of luck after looking at it. =)
Good Luck!!
Till then.............

+ Last Official Week in Uni Series (5/5)

Here's the last parter of this series. As always, there's nothing spectacular about. No big bangs, celebration of tears or joy. Everything is the same, no change. I don't feel sad like i would when i was younger. I've grown up, as a friend has once commented, 'quarter of a century old'. Been at can B to study for the past few days. This is for a change of environment and hopefully, we'll be more motivated to study with so many others mugging away too.

+ Last Official Week in Uni Series (4/5)

Today, i attended my last lecture(yup, it really is the last one). Wonder what are the thoughts of the others in this same lecture LT27. There are those whom i'm seen more often in the same lectures or tutorials but i didn't get to know them. They definitely do give me that familiar feeling, the sense of belonging to a place. Probably we'll somehow meet one another down the road in a few years time. What are your thoughts then?

lastLecture
Jason the teacher-to-be took the shuttle bus with me to can B to study. I hardly make use of this shuttle service and preferred to walk. I hope the issues to the this service would one day come to and end with positive results. A day will come when we would all pay for the service as part of our miscellaneous fees to the school. This would probably result in more buses and also for them make their rounds in the campus with more regularity. More routes would be made available to satisfy the needs of the students living in the campus. Welfare to the students please!

Here's the other 2 kakis of mine. I'm lucky to have these 2 old folks' company for the past 4 years and it was and still is great. We've studied together, have meals and tolerated one another's idiocrasies. I'm glad to have shared laughters with you both *bows*. ;)
Presenting to you the old folks of Garfios.

I haven thought that the Chinese Heritage Center would look this nice at night. It could have easily been mistaken for a country club. Haha. This was taken when i made my way to the best coffeeshop in S'pore 'no pun intended, check out the newspapers cuttings they have' to have hokkien mee.

+ Last Official Week in Uni Series (3/5)

WEDNESDAY. My first free day of the week in my 4 years here. On this night of the last week however, it was spent with 22 other men and an Umbro soccer ball.

QuietNightAlone
Chelsea has once again shown why it is the force to be reckon with this year. The score now stands at 3-1 with another 15 minutes to go. Lampard just scored again with a wonderful left-legged volley that zooms past Kahn, who made saves after saves from the onslought of the attacking Chelsea side. Will Bayern survive this night? I will know in 15mins time. Zzzz

+ Last Official Week in Uni Series (2/5)

Tonight, we didn't make use of the toaster. But what we did was to have supper at our regular haunt, Ah Fung which is just across the 'pie'. Haha.

AhFung at 0130hr
The prata here is not bad. It's crispy and anything is delicious when we're hungry. Since when are we not hungry?? =P

GOOAALLLLLLLL!!!!
*PI PI PEEEEEEE* There goes the final whistle as there's much joy and relevation for the liverpool fans around the world as they won 2-1 at their home ground. Garcia made a beautiful volley that kept our mouths wide open in awe =0 What a goal!!

To end off, here's an advice from one of the lecturers for the coming exams: 'Smile at the paper and the paper will smile back to you'. He also said, the lecturers LOVE us all. AWWWWWWWW! So sweet. =)

+ Last Official Week in Uni Series (1/5)

This is OFFICIALLY the LAST WEEK in school for some of us. Finally, after years of studying (make that 18 and i mean EIGHTEEN years, that's like nearly a quarter of our lives), it's all gonna end soon. I've only 3 days of school this week and am appreciating and savouring every moment, every second, every milisecond of it. So here i bring to you a mini-series of what's going on in a typical day of my life in the university.

Supper on a Monday Night
Hungry as we are every night from all that studying, we'll either cook, go out for supper, get someone to buy back or just stay hungry till we go to bed. That's us waiting for our meal to be toasted *stomach growls*.

BelovedToaster
Look What's INSIDE????????? Fresh Mediterranean Focaccia (Italian bread from gardenia) layered with a smooth, melted kraft single cheese and topped with a hotdog *SLURPS =P* Few lucky buggers get to eat what i toasted and they all decided that we should make it a SHIOK one tomorrow night. We'll see how it goes ;)
