Marche Crepe

Monday 13th September 2010, was at The Curve during lunch hour.
Looking at the rows of food outlets, it was difficult to decide.
Narrow down the choice, one that's not available in Penang &  have not tried before.
That made it so much easier now - below is what we found.

Marche Restaurant - "It's a market place restaurant"

Decor is Swiss style. A card is issued at the entrance to each customer.
Stamping on card as food is ordered from each counter.
Sounds interesting - self service !!
We took the table at a quiet corner right inside the restaurant.

At the drink counter - tea, coffee, fresh fruit juices etc
Our choice :

umbra with sour plum

 Apple tea

For salad - given a bowl & one can pile as much as the bowl can take.
Apple, tomato, pumpkin, blue cheese, zucchini, lettus,
cucumber, walnuts & mushrooms.

Main course - savoury crepe will be nice for a change instead of grill chicken, fish etc .
Picked smoke salmon as filling & mushroom sauce as dip.
The dish was ready in five minutes.
As we are small eater, one crepe was sufficient for us.
Well, we are happy with our pick.
Marche Crepe

Meal is not complete without dessert.
The cakes look a bit dry, so either creme caramel or mousse.
 Creme caramel

Would revisit & try out other food available eg sausages, grilled talapia, chicken, potato etc
Any recommendations ?

Hong Kong Street Restaurant

Hong Kong Street Restaurant has several outlets in Singapore.
We had our dinner at Bedok outlet as it's five minutes walk from the house.
Some of the dishes we ate.
Egg plant with minced pork
Fish head - well prepared, fresh meat & no mud smell
Har cheong kai - very crispsy !!
Taste a bit like belacan chicken

Taufu dish with prawns
Yu cha kueh salad
Coffee pork ribs !!

After dinner, must have dessert. So niece prepared this for us.
Chewy toffee dates pudding.
