The Visit.

It was so fun having Dallin's mom (Marmee) come visit for a few days. Target allows every MBA intern to invite one guest to enjoy a weekend seeing what their intern has been up to. Karen spent some of her first day with Dallin touring Target, meeting his team, and learning more about his project. After that is was all fun :) - and we packed it full of stuff! Aquarium, Lake Calhoun, Loring Park, toured the Basilica, Minneapolis Institute of Art (which had a Van Gogh), the Sculpture Garden and tried a lot of different restaurants. Glad she was able to come!

Stuff.

The latest and greatest from Minneapolis!!! We have loved exploring and meeting new friends. Can't believe we'll be back in Provo in 2 1/2 weeks.

Fourth of July
I have always loved spending the 4th of July in Provo and I was sad to miss it this year. Minneapolis definitely didn't disappoint. We started off by going to a Twins vs Yankee game - I thought it would be cool to say I have seen Derek Jeter play in person at least once before he retires. We ended the weekend by watching fireworks over the Mississippi.

This old guy was sitting right in front of us - dancing the whole time holding his cane.

 All-Star Weekend
Minneapolis hosted this year Baseball All-Star game and we were lucky enough to get to participant in some of the activities. Image Dragons performed in the All-Star Concert - pretty such Hadlee was the only 1 1/2 year old there. They has some awesome fireworks after that we watched at we walked to our car.

 Duluth
We took a trip up to Duluth with some of the other BYU MBA who are in the area doing their internships. We couldn't keep Hadlee out of the water - we went through three different outfits. Her new favorite thing is picking flowers and making everyone smell it. After checking out downtown Duluth we went to Split Rock Lighthouse, Gooseberry Falls and got pie from the famous Betty's Pies.

I was in the other room doing some laundry and come out to this - both fast asleep!
One of the awesome things about living downtown is there is always something going on. Since we have being here we have already had three parades outside our window. This one a Torchlight Parade - Hadlee thought staying up late was awesome!
Some of our amazing friends we have meet out here.
