T-minus 3...Almost there!
Closing in on the first decade for KJ&C. And T-minus 2 for Steve who always feels left out this time of year...

T-minus 4...The Jets are Back!
KJ&C turned 6 and the NHL made its return to Winnipeg (and coincidentally, this was the year the boys' hockey team was called the Jets)...

T-minus 7…A Harvey kind of Birthday
Back when the boys were hardcore Calgary Flames fans and more specifically fans of Harvey the Hound, who came to their 3rd birthday party. I love this sequence of photos from that day. Josh and Connolly stayed in the 'safe zone', while Keegan (who is still our most fearless one today) crept closer and closer to Harvey with every shot...

The Triplets are Turning Ten!
On Facebook, I thought it would be a nice idea to do a "T-minus 10" countdown to KJ&Cs 10th Birthday next week with flashbacks to photos from each year since their birth.
After this post, I will update the blog with the "T-minus..." posts for each day so any blog readers can see the flashbacks as well :)

Spring 2015 Update
Yikes! No updates since Christmas? I'm slacking. Though I'm not sure how much traffic this blog gets these days anyway.
So since Christmas, there's not a whole lot to update on. Keegan, Josh & Connolly have all finished their fifth hockey season. Each of the boys had a great season individually with their highest goals/points to date and of course, the continued frienships and all the new ones are what it's really about.
We have been very blessed to be a part of some pretty amazing teams in their five seasons...10 teams in total if you can imagine lol.
But winter hockey has ended and now Keegan & Josh are on to spring hockey. Connolly is taking a hockey break until August, but will participate in some of the dryland training that his brothers do once a week until June (as part of the spring hockey program).
And on the bigger hockey stage, the Winnipeg Jets are Stanley Cup playoffs-bound which is awesome. As long-time Jets fans, Steve and I are very excited. Connolly is too as he gets to experience the epic Winnipeg Whiteout in person next week at the MTS Centre for the Jets first home playoff game in 19 seasons.
The boys excitement over the Jets being in the playoffs resulted in a fun video -> Go Jets Go!
The video has even been shown on Winnipeg's CTV Morning Live.
Once hockey fever is over, we'll enjoy about an 8-week break from the rinks for the boys to participate in summer camps/other sports. Keegan and Josh are doing a baseball camp in July, while Connolly gets to work on building skills in a Lego Brickbuilders camp. Then all three will enjoy a week of soccer/floor hockey/basketball.
The boys will also spend two weeks once school ends in Winnipeg with Mama Sherry & Papa Dennis, as they have done the last few years. It will be a busy but somehow a little less hectic spring/summer :)
So as you can see, it's pretty much the same old, same old for us. But we're loving it!
