It's about time!

It's about time I posted on my blog!  Two years can change our family so much.  So here's what has been happening this fall.  I'm still in school and counting the classes until I'm finished.  In case you're wondering I have 6 classes until I graduate!  This is still going to take me at least 3 semesters, because I only enroll in 2 classes at a time.  So my expected graduation date is May 2014.  This has been a very difficult semester to keep up with.  First, the last weekn of August I tested positive for an auto-immune diesease.  The next week I found out I was expecting again.  This was a very stressful time, because I became very exhausted and sick.  I was going to doctor's appointments frequently and trying to care for my family as well.  I was referred to a rhuematologist for further testing to diagnose what exacty was going on with me!  My hands were and are very swollen, numb and achy most of the time.  The rhuematologist then decided that I had a false positive blood test for my auto immune diesease and thinks that my problems lie with carpal tunnel syndrome.

This was great news except I still feel the pain every day in my hands.  The bad news is that the last week of October I experienced problems with my pregnancy and had a miscarriage.  I was then again going to several doctors appointments and trying to deal with this new trial/loss.  Wonderfully, I have been blessed with many caring friends and family members who have helped me to deal with the miscarriage.

So, this semester of school has felt like I've been on a rollercoaster ride!  My emotions are all over the  map and I have put my schooling on the back burner.  I am trying to catch up this month and next before my finals.  Not to mention my four beautiful children and their schedules, interests and needs.

I want to state something very clear, I am not looking for EMPATHY, or for sympathy.  I just feel like talking about the stresses in my life somehow eases the burden!  Gabe is a wonderful husband who helps me by doing many things I haven't had the energy to do myself.  I guess I lucked out that he likes cooking and grocery shopping;)

I wondering what next year will bring?!!!
