We caught it!!

Our little family caught the stomach bug. It's been an eventful few days of Gatorade and barf buckets!!  During this time Mackenzie got her casts off. She went from -12 to +17 in 5 weeks. We are so proud of her for putting up with being casted half the summer!  Her legs are pretty sore and having a little trouble walking but we'll get past it.

Wyatt started preschool today at the First Baptist Church in Monongahela!!  He was so excited to start. Miss Steph is his teacher again this year.  We just love her and her enthusiasm.  He has 15 kids in his class and will be attending Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9-11:30. 

Random

I've now started working again on Saturdays so Gabe is now watching the kids all day from 830 till 5.  This past Saturday they all had a good day so Dad promised them ice cream.  They were so excited about it!! 

Portchop will pretty much eat just about anything.  He has now tried quesdillas and pancakes.  He seems to like both.  Trying to get him not to be a picky eater like his older brother.   Judging by his size don't think that's gonna happen...;).

Porter---9 months old

This sweet little boy is now 9 months old!!!  He loves to smile, roll, and loves his mom.  He is a bit of a mommas boy.  He loves to eat. Loves avacados and mashed potatoes! He has 4 top teeth and 2 bottom teeth.  He is my little army crawler.  Sad to say he is starting to pull himself up.  Not ready for him to walk.  Porter weighs 21.11lbs!!

Match matchy

Girls ate super fun to dress but i Love having two boys. Love dressing them matching. I found matching ties in Utah that I just had to buy.

Swimming summer fun

We bought this swimming pool back in may at Sams club. We just put in up on Friday. The kids had a good time in it.  They didn't spend a lot of time in it but it was $30 well spent!

As much as these kids get on my nerves I just love being their mom. They deserve better than me but I'm working on it.

Dance class

I have been looking for adaptive dance classes for a long time for Mackenzie. I was approached a few weeks ago at therapy that they were going to offer 4 weeks of adaptive dance classes. Of course I signed her up. When I told her she was so excited!!!  I get home and look at the calendar and she had a very important doctor appt scheduled on the first day of dance. Oh I was so upset!!  I talked to one of my yw who takes dance and she was willing to teach her a dance lesson. So we are now looking forward to out other dance sessions.

8 months

Porter is getting so big. He is 8 months old. He received his first haircut today. He has his 2 bottom teeth and is working on 4 top teeth.  He is now crawling and sitting up by himself.  He loves to dance...he bops his head from side to side. He is a pretty happy baby.

Box Troll

Wyatt always surprises me. He has such an imagination.  He can take anything and have a good time with it. He took the box and decided he could be a box troll.

Bear lake 2015

Dutch (Gabe's  sister) bought a cabin a few yrs ago in Bear Lake Idaho. Every year when we come out we try and spend a few days at the cabin.  We have a great time at the beach and just enjoy time with each other.  I always look for moose and this year I was successful. Saw a moose 3 times.

Shooting

Gabel and I went shooting with our brother in law John in bountiful canyon.  It was fun. The best part was the view. I just love these mountains!!

Pediacures

Enjoying our summer vacation to Utah!!  We love spending time with Gabel's family.  Our first day here we had a girls night of pediacures.  Kenzie had a great time getting here toes and nails done. 

Morning walks!!

My sweet little Porter hasn't slept well so far on our trip.  We are currently teething and we have had some very rough nights. It is tough not being in your own home where you don't worry about him waking others up.  So what do you do when your baby is wide awake at 630 am and everyone else is sleeping...take a walk!!  I have enjoyed my morning walks and the beautiful view of the mountains!!

Argyle sweaters

I had a livingsocial coupon for picture taking I had to use today. So I got the kids pictures taken. The session was a bit of a bust. They were running 40 minutes late so needless to say the baby didn't want to cooperate by the time it was our turn. Thank goodness I brought Kimberly with me...I was losing my patience.
The kids were good sports. I wanted to get a picture of the boys taken but it didn't happen. So when we got home I took my own. I bought these sweaters today and I just loved them.  I've  got two handsome boys.

New furniture

We closed off our living room so we decided we wanted to get a sectional. Gabel told me I needed to sell our old furniture first. So I did. What we didn't know was how hard it was going to be to find a sectional that would fit. We have 119 inches to work with.  Well every sectional we found was 120 to 123. :(. We were stuck with lawn chairs for 10 days.  But we found a nice sectional that fits perfectly!
