I have wanted to try drafting film with CPs ever since people started using it a few years ago, but could never find any. Just need to find something simple to try first to play with. It took me forever to think of a title for this owl, I am horrible at title. Bird #10 just doesn't sound right :p neither does "attempt #10 to drive myself insane".

Its so odd seeing roses blooming this time of year. Not that I should be complaining about the nice weather we are having, but snow in the mountains and blooming flowers just don't seem to go together. My shoulders are still pretty stiff and sore from falling, but I managed a bit of work on the owl. A few more hours and it should be done *crosses fingers* on a positive side, the bruises on my knees make a lovely shade of purple, would make a nice coloured pencil colour :p

and had a huge ass fall :/ Got my foot caught up in my shoelaces, and went down with a thud. I probably swore, but really don't remember much but crying and trying to stop Sky from licking my face :p Landed on my left knee pretty hard, and jarred everything else. Its hurts to do anything :/ Sitting and drawing for a long time is out, as my back seizes up. This was right after it happened, and now 2 days later its a nice purple and red colour. (hmmm need to shave my legs lol) I have done a bit on the owl, but not much. If I get the house cleaned this weekend, I should be able to work on this more. I would love to find a nice frame for it and then possibly try to enter it in some shows, but I need to finish the thing first :p

And I thought coloured pencil took forever lol And to think I actually love using ink. I zone out when doing any kind of pointillism, not completely I don't hear the dog whine (and she will poke me with her nose if I didn't hear her :p), but enough that it takes me a few seconds to realize that the phone is ringing or Mr.F said something :p I know there are other artists that zone out when working too, its hard to explain tho if it hasn't happened to you. Like the creative gods take over and move your hand for you. Now if only they could do the house work at the same time, this might get done sooner :p
