These are the posters to go with the motion graphic piece I made for the brief for the Dogs Trust. This is probably my favourite out of the 5 of them :) And the final happy dog :)

Detritus from fuzzydragons on Vimeo .  Finished the motion graphic piece for my plastic project for uni. Its 1 minute 25 seconds long, wanted it to be shorter but couldn't get all the info I wanted to include in a shorter time. There are things I would change, but overall I am happy with how it turned out.

Final year assessment was today, so all afternoon was spent putting this up (with help of course). So now we all have to wait until the 16th to find out our grades and if we passed. And now to sleep or clean this studio up lol

Ack! so busy lol no time to visit anyone or comment. I have almost everything done for degree show except a motion graphic piece. Its for my plastics in the ocean project and this is what I have so far. Detritus from fuzzydragons on Vimeo . so much left to do on it.....

Messing around in After Effects.This is only part of a longer dream sequence that I need to finish, and should have finished it today, but I've run out of time. Always tomorrow to get it finished lol I wanted the dream sequence to have a simple cartoony look to it, partly because I am still learning and just because I liked the look this way. Going to add sounds to it, which is my favourite part of making these :)

Poster #3 dealing with stereotypes people have about indigenous people compared with the true facts.  I'm not sure how many posters I will end up with, but I know I need either a small leaflet, book or info-graphic that has information about colonization and the residential schools in it so the posters make more sense rather then just posters that could be for anything.

Very very tiny update on the head feathers. I started the other ear tufft today but need to get a lot of research done for uni on various subjects including electric cars and the impact they have on the environment. The environmental impact of creating the cars is actually a lot worse than people think. Not denying low emissions from the cars but there are a lot of other factors that need to be thought about when it comes to electric cars. Another poster for my personal project for uni focusing on stereotypes people have of indigenous people to try to get people to stop and think about the truth.

I designed a brochure to go with my short motion graphic piece , keeping the space theme but adding more info. I had to put the little alien on it, too cute not to use and I needed to fill the space lol

My personal project is in no way saying that indigenous people are drunks, so please do not think that. My project is addressing the horrible stereotypes that non-indigenous people have about indigenous people and hopefully make people stop and think about the actual person and not the horrible things that indigenous people get called. This design was just me trying to come up with the basic look and still needs some work done to it, but I have plenty of time to finalize the posters/campaign. I am thinking the final art will be somewhere in between these 2 text I'm using photos from Edward S. Curtis, and as far as I can tell I don't have a problem using them, but if I do, let me know.

Started to put the website images together. It isn't live yet so I didn't post a link to the site because you don't get any moving images but the dragon parts move up and down when you scroll the mouse wheel. Muse can be a pain in the butt to use. Somethings are so easy, somethings you can try for hours to get to work before they do and even then the slightest change can sometimes stop things working right. I'm hoping to have it finished in the next couple of days, depending on if we end up being given work tomorrow at Uni that we need to get finished when we go back on the 11th

Was suggested these were too Scottish looking and the more I look at them, I totally agree so back to the drawing board to try to bring in something Canadian to them. Of course when people think of Canada they tend to think of maple leaves, but the only problem with that is that the maple leaf is used on a lot of Canadian alcohol labeling already so can't have something that looks too much like something else already on the market. But now the design does go better with the maple beer idea. I will probably move the text up slightly, I think its a bit too low on the cans. But I do think its a good mix up between Scotland and Canada. I am probably going to use cans for the design but just wanted to see what it might look like on bottles. This project is going to give me more grey hair lol

I thought I had a font that would work with this design, but now I am not too sure. So begins the long process of trying to find something that fits better with the design. Nothing too modern, but preferably not anything that looks too antique.(1.2) I like the white version now that I have had a few days to think about it, but if I was to use it on a can design I would have to add a blue background to it so the lion would show up on the silver cans. (3,4) This is going to take awhile lol  (5,6) And this will probably not be the last time I post these, since I do like hearing what people think, but I promise to try not to go overboard and post ever single design change lol

Decided to experiment with different mockups to see how a design would work on different bottles. I probably wont use them because then I have to go out and buy beer to get the bottles to use in the final design and I don't like beer so it would go down the drain. I guess I could see if I could find some cider bottles that might work, I will drink cider lol I actually really like how simple this design looks on a can. The white and blue look good, haven't designed the back yet. But I can still only work for very short periods before my arm feels like it wants to snap, but I will keep trying to work more with my left since as it is starting to look like the right arm is going to take awhile to heal. None of these designs are the final one, I'm still trying to find what works the best for my idea.

Well not really but here are two lable designs for uni. And my arm is is agony after spending less than 2 hours yesterday on this and a few other designs. Obvs my arm is still messed up, so no idea what I am actually going to do for uni because it seems that I can't work more than 20 minutes before my arm starts screaming in pain and that is after taking enough pain killers to knock a horse over. So the question is which of these do you prefer? White or blue?

Still haven't made up my mind if this is a dragon or a sea monster, but had a bit of spare time to work on it between research, which I might have to restart and focus on one thing as AAC is a huge topic to cover in an essay that is only supposed to be 1000 words long. Almost done with the basic shading now, I think I just need to shade the yellow scales and then this section is finished *crosses fingers*

 This was a very short project, under 5 weeks. That might seem like a lot of time and I have had shorter deadlines before, but we had to take our own photos for this project, which does cut into time needed to get everything finished. The photos were supposed to be Dundee based, but I can't walk (stumble/fall) around Dundee so was allowed to take photos around Kirriemuir instead, hence why my layout is heavily Barrie/Peter Pan based. We didn't have to write the article, but I probably could have if we had an extra week. 5 page magazine focusing on white space and designing for it. Might change things, haven't decided yet. Going to put it away for a few days and then decide if this is the final version.

Need a logo for a packaging idea, so decided to update mine to use lol Its very colourful, but very me.
