Changed the material to a shiny blue one found on Instagram by another 3D artist. The face still needs still needs a lot of work and a lot more scales. I also started to work to work on his feet, giving him pointy claws. The basic muscles suture is finished, just lots of scales and detailing to go. I think the next is going to be something really simple lol

More 3D work with ZBrush . This is just the start with zspheres to get the basic body shape and then I need to actually sculpt it with different brushes. Going to take awhile and the wings will probably be made separately and then added after. It does look more like a dinosaur at the moment so hopefully it ends up looking more like a dragon when finished.

Just some more sketches done with coloured pencil. Can never practice enough. I really need to sketch more but finding the time is almost impossible. The only reason I can right now is I am home from uni. Had the flu last week and this week I am on antibiotics because the doctor is afraid I might get pneumonia, so thats fun lol And some lion sketches to break up the dog sketches.

The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet by Becky Chambers My rating: 5 of 5 stars Very character driven story and a lot of varied characters of type and sex. If you want big space battles this story isn't for you, this story is more about how all these species interact with each other and live in outer space. Which I actually found refreshing since a lot of sci-fi is more about who to kill next lol View all my reviews Jennifer's bookshelf: currently-reading Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky tagged: currently-reading The Lie Tree by Frances Hardinge tagged: currently-reading In Cold Blood by Truman Capote tagged: currently-reading War and Peace b

Finished the base model for the dog. I need to try a different method for the fur next, the fibermesh option, which only makes sense if you have used ZBrush before. I might paint the model, probably with Substance Painter which I haven't actually used before but looks really cool. I wasn't going for a really realistic looking dog, something more like a cartoon version of a dog, so big feet were a must.
