Who ate the baby?

I'm now 38 weeks and expecting this guy any day. So we decided to have some fun with some pictures.
So, Who ate the baby?

Day Halloween Party

We celebrated a little bit early this year since Lis and I are due any day. But we still had lots of fun. We first carved pumpkins.
The girls trying to decide how to design their pumpkin.

After Braxton was done shaving his pumpkin, he put it on his head. He does this every year, he doesn't really put a design to it, he is just excited to use a knife. Then we got a group shot. Lis and I didn't carve pumpkins and then we ended up turning into pumpkins.

Then we got dressed up and went trick or treating at Grandparent Day's house. It was a wonderful evening and nice to get away.

Lopez reunion

In order to get everybody there, Lopez reunions need to be in the fall. So over UEA break we got together and played. We first took pictures of Ester's and Belinda's family. Then we went swimming for a couple of hours and then went to Grandparent Lopez's house for dinner. It was kind of crazy getting it planned with Victor being a newborn, me pregnant and Grandpa Lopez having lots of surgeries, however, we did it.

After dinner we went to Belinda's house where the sibling and kids spent the night. The adults got kiddo's to bed and then we stayed up playing games. The next morning was running the 5k. Alex won.
Then after breakfast the men went to help around Grandpa Lopez's house with some things that he couldn't get to. Then it was play at the park and then dinner. It was an awesome day and fun to be around family.

Raingutter Regatta

This year for cub scout pack meeting we did things a little different. We did the Raingutter Regatta making them out of pool noodles instead of the kit. It was a different way but the kids had lots of fun. The girls made one too and were able to race as well. Braxton got 3rd place.

Kids

Realizing we take lots of pictures for everybody else and not of our kids, I decided it was time to play around a little and take some pictures of them before baby comes and who knows what is going to happen. They were very good and listened well. We went to the park down the street and when they were done with their pictures they went and played.

Great Grandpa Vera

Great Grandpa Vera flew in from Texas for Brother Thorton's funeral. While he was here we took advantage of it and invited him over for dinner. It was nice to visit with him and find out about what he has been doing and some things about why he came to Utah in the first place instead of staying in Texas. He also stayed and played Rummikub (a game) with us.

Soccer season

He still loves soccer and we just finished the fall season. His team was red again and they won most of their games. Braxton still loves defense but plays all over (unless his team needs help, then he is just defense). His coach is Cameron and he has been on the same team for a quite a few years. He doesn't want to try other sports either. He is fine where he is :)

Friends

I thought I would write about the kids and their friends. I don't take very many pictures of them playing, however, I am excited when they get that chance to play and take a break from the things that are required of them. McKailey's job for the day was to learn how to make zucchini bread so she invited Anna over and they could learn together. They did a great job.
Braxton still loves to play mindcraft whenever he gets the chance. So him and Aysha will play it together when I don't kick them outside to do something. (McKailey is learning photography, she is actually the one who took the picture when I was teaching her about framing.) Braxton has also had Christopher over a bunch playing outside and mindcraft as well.
This is Braxton playing with Kyla and Alie playing monsters I think. But Alie and Kyla play whenever they get the chance. Alie has been going to Kyla's house lately on the days that she doesn't have school. Kyla has also invited her to the zoo and bounce house to play as well. She has had lots of fun and wants to go to the bounce house for her birthday.

Alie's Prayer

For the last couple of months when it is Alie's turn to say prayer, she prays for the baby as part of her prayer. She says,"please bless the baby to grow and develop property (for properly) and not give mom any distractions (for contractions). I love it!
