He did it! He always does it but this time he rode in the freezing rain for 3 hours. (There was people who did the bike ride who had to stop to get treated for hypothermia.) Alex couldn't feel some fingers for a couple of days. He did it in 6 1/2 hours. Great job!

Eatting lunch with Dad
So when it decided to get a little warm outside, Alie and I went to eat lunch with Dad at the park across the street from the High School. Her favorite part (all of my kids favorite part when they eat lunch with Dad) is to cross the monkey bars with Dads help.
Afterwards, we went home and let Alie run in the sprinklers. I was feeling pretty good about myself that day playing with Alie, (since I hadn't done much the last couple of weeks because of not feeling very good).

McKailey's 8th Birthday
The boys had Webelos camp the weekend after McKailey's birthday so we decided to have her friend party the weekend before. She invited 14 girls and they all came. The party started with her teaching her friends how to play the cup game that Aunt Melissa taught her a week or 2 before.
Afterwards, they decorated their purse which was their goodie bag as well. Then we went outside to play pin the cotton ball on the poodle, limbo, jump on the bounce house and we also did the pinata.
Then we went inside to open presents.
Instead of cake they made the Eiffel Tower out of sugar wafer cookies.
Believe it or not, the party was 2 hours long and after all of those activities they still had 15 minutes to bounce some more before parents came. They wore me out :)
For McKailey's actually birthday, she asked Anna to join us for a picnic at the new Skyline park. We played there for 3 hours and they could have gone on longer. We gave her some swimming stuff, scriptures and case (well, when the new ones come out in August she will have them), and some books. We had a Mother's Day/ McKailey's family birthday party the Sunday after her birthday. We had a dinner and some cake and ice cream. A wonderful day.

Another quote from Alie
We were talking about killing the flies in the house. She responds by saying,"how about we open the back door and let them fly out to be free. See flies. It's warm outside for you." (She is a huge animal person.)

Alie's quote for the day
Alie and I were on our way home from Walmart today when she starts talking to me. Our conversation went something like this:
Alie: Mom, what should I be when I grow up?
Me: How about a Mom?
Alie: No, I don't want to be a Mom. I want to be Tinkerbell! When I grow up Heavenly Father is going to change me into Tinkerbell.
