Enough said.

Carter's first trip to the zoo

It was pretty warm afternoon for it being the end of February. As you can see, I'm only wearing a jacket! That speaks volumes in and of itself. So Christina, Aleah and Aiden joined us for a trip to the zoo. We hadn't been for awhile so it was neat to see the changes they have made. As for Braxton in the picture- it was his way of showing how he was not excited about this adventure.

After the zoo, Braxton had his first Court of Honor for scouts. He earned a couple of awards. So exciting!

Gymnastics Academy

February 17, 2014  The Gymnastics Academy has days where you can play on their equipment. It really is a ton of fun and brings back lots of wonderful memories of my Gymnastics years. So naturally, we had to go check it out.

I think there is a lot of funny things I could say about Braxton being at the top of the rope and Alex at the bottom. But I will just let your imagination run.....

These two pictures are from a different time we when we went to the Academy. We went with Mari and family, Belinda and family, and Alie, Carter and I. Sofia, Kyla and Alie are like the three amigos. If they could have their way, they would never ever be separated. They have way to much fun together. The foam pit they are in was one of their favorites. They would just jump in. It was pretty hard to get them out without them being sucked in but we managed.

Valentine's Day 2014

With a little baby in tow, our Valentines Day was a little different but still a blast. We went to All Star Lane and went M&M bowling. Apparently we didn't take any pictures of it. But what color of M&M you ate was how you bowled. So if I got a green M&M, I would bowl through my legs, or a blue M&M I would bowl left handed or backwards. It's whatever action you choose to whatever color. We really had lots of fun doing it.
However, I did manage to find this random picture from Valentines' Day. Yep, that's my Alie taking a selfie.

And here is Braxton playing with the last remaining bits of snow on Valentine's Day. He loves making a hill there and sledding down with his little air sled. That is a boy with sheer joy.

Carter's Blessing

It was a beautiful early February morning when Alex blessed Carter in the Tooele 8th ward. We had lots of people come and support us.
Alex blessed Carter with a special plan and mission for him to fulfill in this life. He was blessed with strength in body and to stay strong to the iron rod. He was blessed to be a leader amongst his peers and to be a leader in the church to guide and direct. Also blessed with a special spirit to discern the needs of others. Blessed to have a good sense of humor and to buoy up those around him.
It was a beautiful blessing. Alex said that he just stared at him during the whole prayer. The funny part was when Alex forgot to take Carter to the front to get blessed. Jason had to take him up because I couldn't even get Alex's attention to have him come get him.
After the blessing we came to our house and had a brunch to visit with everyone.

Alie's friends

I thought it was so cute today that I just had to write :). Background info: the Kindergarteners line up outside before they all walk into class to start the day.  So I was pulling to the front to drop her off like I always do and she had a group of friends get excited when they saw or van and started chanting, Alie, Alie,Alie before she even got out of the car. They were so excited to see her. (There was no teacher out there telling them to do that). She was embarrassed and took a little longer getting out of the car. Then we said good and she skipped to the line while the kids were still continuing their chanting. She does really well with including everyone to play and everyone is her friend.

100 days of school

Alie had to collect 100 items and display them creatively. She collected crayons and then we melted them with a blow dryer. She was so proud of her project.
