My Cosmo Vox Box

I belong to this really cool site called Influenster.  They sample and try all the latest gadgets, clothes, accessories and more.  They sent me a sample box called a Vox Box and I got to try it out this past month.

The Ghirardelli's chocolate was such a good mixture of sea salt, chocolate, and almonds!

The razor is amazing!  So is the Olay cartridge!

The 2 FriXion pens by Pilot Pens work great as a teacher cause they erase by friction, so I dont have to get smudged up all day with pencil anymore!  I love giving good grades and check marks in my favorite color, PINK!

And the little bottle in red is Bath & Body Works new fragrance, Forever Red.  It smells great and even my picky scent of a husband loves it too!

Anyone else out there try anything new lately too?  Do you get free stuff in the mail like me?

Select a Christmas Present for Your Teacher

Here are some items that I got and recommend for your child's teachers too!

A cute mason jar filled with Christmas gumballs, the first letter of my last name on the jar and a cute green ribbon to add a decorative touch!

A warm, soft, orange, chevron patterned blanket!

Some sweet smelling homemade soap!  Useful and very thoughtful!

I've never heard of these and am excited to try them.  So I recommend giving something new from a company you already like!

I got quite a few of these this year, these ones looked like friends so I pictured them together here!  The gift is a few pouches of hot chocolate in a cute tin, each of the students added a decorative ribbon!  Ribbons can add so much merriment and excitement into a cute simple gift!

If you can't think of anything else, gift cards are always a great treat to get!  Just by looking at 1/2 of them pictured below, you know I'll be having a fun Christmas!

And this is probably my most unique gift ever.  It is SOAP!  Who would ever guess.  The tag said "DO NOT EAT!"  It is kind of hard to resist licking a little and making sure its not a yummy cupcake treat (I resisted, although it was hard), but I did end up using it and it makes great bubbles and is 100% SOAP!

Merry Christmas faculty, teachers, staff and students!  And thanks for all the goodies! :)

Day #76

So I wore black boots, dark blue skinny jeans, and a red polka dot shirt with my green holed sweater over it.  I have on red & green beaded necklaces.  On my wrists, I have gold and silver beaded bracelets/necklaces (today they are bracelets).  I'm wearing multi hoop dangly earrings.  I have my hair in a side pony with a red, white, and green hair ribbon.  And bright holiday red nails & lips!

Hooray for Holiday attire!  Merry Christmas!  :)

Day #75

Santa came to school today!  I was so excited and I had to have my photo with him!  If you look at the other parts of the picture you might notice some things in my classroom too!
Here I am posing next to my Christmas tree!  I have on red shoes, green pants, red shirt, white vest, green & white scarf, a red clip in my curly hair, and red nails!
I took a close up of my face today to show you my red lipstick, green eye liner, and fun curly brown hair pulled to the side in the red clip that I mentioned above!  Also, if you look closely, you can see my hoop earrings!
Let's hear it, do you think I've shown off my holiday spirit this week?  Can you hardly wait to see what I wear tomorrow on the last day before Christmas break???  I'm so excited!

Day #74

Holiday spirit! Can you feel it with this outfit?  Red sweater and jingle bell necklace!  Black boots & black skirt.  Snowflake earrings.  I'm loving it!  Today my students did their Christmas Concert for the parents and it was so cute!  Wishing you could have been there to hear their holiday tunes too!  :)

Teacher Style

Our school's music teacher has great style too!  She let me take a picture of her so I can tell you why I love her outfit & general good taste!

She is wearing a short sleeved gray sweater with cute accent buttons around the neck, dark purple skinny jeans, and heeled boots with fur cuffs folded over.  I love her cute bracelets, lip color and straight hair today too!

Day #73

What a day to go back to school.

Here is my overly cheerful holiday attire:

I wore black shoes, black pants, a lace undershirt, black long sleeved t-shirt, and a red light bulb vest.  I have on green light bulb earrings that really light up and a green necklace.  My hair is straight today!

And a close up:

The light bulb vest, my Mom made for me!  It is fun to wear homemade clothes! She's great!  Thanks Mom, I love you!

Sunday Style

Here's a quick update on my outfit yesterday! I matched greens, blues, and browns!

And I love my hair style:

This is a close up of the skirt (I think of them as little colored pebbles):

Christmas Came Early!

This afternoon, I came home to find this:

I was so surprised and thought he had wrapped it as a joke at first as a sign he'd get around to fixing it one day.

But when I opened it up, I found a nice, brand new, wonderfully working toilet!

What a wonderful present, my brand new toilet!!

Make a Date in a Box Kit

First, pick out a box.

Then fill it with date goodies.  I picked 10: chap stick, gum, tic tacs, lotion, hand sani, a disposable camera, listerine breath strips, a nice shirt, the box to hold it all and 4 movie tickets.

Then write cute message and wrap each one.  I had 10 different things.  Here are the notes:

This was such a fun project.  It was for my Secret Santa gift, and I gave it to Jonathan, my 22 year old brother today before he flew home!  He loved it!

I love you Jonathan!  Merry Christmas :)

Day #72

Today I wore my pj pants for Polar Express Pajama Day (a Kindergarten activity).  We had our class Christmas parties today too!  They were so much fun!  I'm extra lucky and get one in the AM class and one for the PM class!  Then we had a faculty Christmas party and a crazy holiday sweater competition.  I found the snowflake turtle neck & the gray snowflake sweater at Goodwill!  It matched my pj's that are covered in snowflakes perfectly!  :)  And of course, I matched my gray shoes with the whole outfit.  LOVE IT!  So my hair is up in a side pony, I have on a blue headband, I have blue eye shadow, and pink lips!  What a great comfy day!

On a sad, sad note, I have to document the tragedy in Connecticut where an Elementary school was attacked today and that faculty, staff, and students were shot and killed.  I feel so bad.  It hurts my heart to think of those wonderful children and the loss their families are feeling right now.  I know I have bad days, but I'd never ever want to be in those circumstances.  I'll be thinking of those children in Heaven!

I wore purple pants, gray boots, mustard long sleeved shirt, striped vest, colorful bracelet, heart necklace, hoop earrings, and my hair to the side!

I'm standing by my peace lily to give you an update, that it is thriving and loving its new pot!  Go me for keeping plants alive!

Day #69

Today I wore my new skirt, yes from GoodWill, hehe, love good, cheap, lightly used clothes! I matched it with my orange tights, brown boots, blue shirt, purple sweater shirt, and my brown belt which looking at the back, you can tell it is cream too!  My hair is pulled back in a curly messy pony.  The only other point of interest is my purple bracelet!

Also today, I decorated my classroom for Christmas:

Above is a wreath & a Santa door hanger.
Below are 2 of my Nutcrackers from some of my previous students!

I also made these cute paper plate snowman to go next to my tress in the forest that is my classroom!
