Raymond’s UpClose and Personal Interview
18/07/2006
Raymond Lam has been living a busy life in Shanghai for the past 6 months, and though the hunky star flies back to Hong Kong now and again, Raymond just cannot wait to settle back down in his home country, this is according to yesterday's Entertainment Shanghai's "UpClose and Personal Interview with Raymond Lam".
Raymond has been very busy filming two mainland series in the duration of 6 months, but fortunately had a chance to speak to Entertainment Shanghai before returning to Hong Kong to film his new 40 episode series starring alongside Moses Chan, Yoyo Mung, Bosco Wong, Tavia Yeung and Linda Chung.
When Raymond was asked about his time in Shanghai, he replied saying, "It's been a very interesting journey, I've made a lot of friends over here, and I think that I've been considered as being Shanghainese………but on the other hand, I really miss my family and friends in Hong Kong, so I really can't wait to go back there"
After Raymond's remark, the Shanghai reporter questioned his so called "friends" as being "more than friends", and quickly hinted Tammy Chen, Raymond's co-star in "New Breath Of Love". Raymond replied quite quickly, saying, "Tammy is a very nice girl, but I don't go for that type of tea" the reporter laughed saying, "So what is your type of tea? Do you go for Shanghai ladies or just Hong Kong ladies?"…….. Raymond paused for a bit, and said, "I don't mind whether my type of tea is from the mainland or from Hong Kong, but I think it would be easier for me if I had someone that could talk moderately good Cantonese……… ummmm but apart from that, my type of tea has to be outgoing, loves having fun, and for some reason I really like girls with long hair………. and finally I love mature yet sometimes immature girls……" the Shanghai reporter then sighed saying, "unfortunately I have short hair……."
The final part of the interview was asking about Raymond's upcoming plans when he returns straight to Hong Kong. Raymond was very excited to say that he had two series waiting to air in Hong Kong, one being Face to Fate and the other being Tai Chi………..when asked about his upcoming leading ladies, Raymond had a bitter sweet smile upon his face………the Shanghai reporter gave Raymond some names of his next set of leading ladies such as Selina Li (whom stars alongside Raymond in Face to Fate), Myolie Wu (whom stars alongside Raymond in Tai Chi), Linda Chung (whom will star alongside Raymond in the new 40 episode drama), Yoyo Mung ( whom will star alongside Raymond in new 40 episode drama) and lastly, Tavia Yeung ( whom stars alongside Raymond in Face to Fate, and also will be joining Raymond in the 40 episode series). Raymond laughed replying, "Selina is a really nice girl, and she’s a really good newcomer, Linda and Yoyo I haven’t actually worked with before, but I'm looking forward to it, Myolie is a good friend of mine since Survivor's Law, so it was really easy for us to work together” The Shanghai reporter cut through the conversation saying, "Ok, so lastly Tavia, I'm actually a really big fan of Tavia since Twin of Brothers, and I've noticed that you have been in a number of series with Tavia Yeung…………but really haven't actually been paired with her much……are you paired with her in your new series?"
Raymond gave the question some thought, before answering that, "I will be paired up with Tavia, whether or not I will end up with her is still a mystery, because I haven't looked through the whole script yet, but apart from Tavia I'm also paired with Linda and Yoyo……Tavia is really kind-hearted and such a free spirit, and I've had so much fun working with her during my years in TVB. I know that there are many fans of Kau Chong and Sau Ling since Twin of Brothers, like yourself (to reporter) ………and even I thought that it was unfortunate for the two characters to end their relationship in that way, but I guess its not for me to decide"
Entertainment Shanghai reporter ended the interview by thanking Raymond Lam, wishing him a safe trip home and good wishes with his career, also adding that he has to come back to Shanghai for more series!

Raymond takes the first flight back to Hong Kong
Caption: Bosco Wong and Tavia Yeung during Costume fitting of the new series.
Credits: TVB NewsflashAlthough TVB anniversaries
made it clear for the audience that Raymond Lam and Tavia Yeung chemistry is the new generation of golden couple passed down by Liza and Adam, the rumored on screen and off screen couple's relationship is on the rocks. On one hand, Raymond is filming a Taiwanese series with new comer beauty Tammy for "A Breath of Love", Tavia is also striking up headlines herself whilst filming with TVB hottie Bosco Wong.
When the magazine articles of Raymond being topless filming a passionate scene with Tammy, friends said Tavia was worried at first but was reassured on the phone by Raymond that nothing was going on. 'Tavia received at least a call a day from Raymond so Tavia wasn't too worried but of course being in the entertainment industry you would have to grit your teeth when your boyfriend is surrounded with female fans and assistants."
Even though both Tavia and Raymond publicly denies of having any romantic relationship with each other, its no secret from friends in the entertainment circle. As to whether Ron's claims of Raymond using his TVB management god father to pull strings to get the pair together in filming series- the results are obvious. From being in the same series during cameo days to ,,, , , and now the newly proposed 40 episode series. And the rumors that Tavia will also co-star in a Hong Kong- Mainland production along with Raymond it doesn't take much for audience to figure out the rest.
A friend of Raymond said 'When Ray heard about the 40 episode he was esctatic! He knows even though it meant he wasn't pairing up with Tavia at least they share filming and promotion time together.' the friend grins 'and yeah Ray can't stop talking about his girl's new tan. Especially after hanging out with her on the beach in her new bikini'
With the continual rumor of Bosco and Tavia being paired up again in the upcoming series does it bother Raymond that Tavia is getting attention from Bosco?
In an telephone interview with him recently he said 'Bosco and Tavia's relationship in casin0 is much more comic so I won't be comparing that with The Charade of Deception.' Clearly avoiding the question he continues 'Both of them are good friends of mine.' (If we read in between the lines I think it meant that he is not afraid of his competition since Bosco have been bombarding Myolie instead of Tavia with SMS)
But as the saying goes- better safe than sorry. His assistant assures that Raymond would be catching the earliest flight home.

Beautiful Cooking Finals!
TVB's Beautiful Cooking Finals was held last week and scored the top slot for ratings . The hosts also took their time to introduce their contestants. From the beginning Ronald showed no mercy in igniting rumours as he talked about Tavia being 'at her highest peak (Fung) in both career and romance because she's a TVB Siu Fa Dan and having Lam 'Fung'!' causing much laughter for the audience. The other contestants including Ella Koon and Michelle Yip also received similar treatments by Alex and Edmond respectively.
Much to the audience's delight the guest judges for the evening matched perfectly with the beautiful ladies- Raymond Lam and Ron Ng (Double Dragons). When Ronald was introducing Raymond, he had openly described him as a 'lady killer, causing girls to fall head over heels with his hero saves beauty scenes...' causing a rather large grin on Raymond's face. However, Ronald soon turned around to his other hosts saying 'I don't understand why girls only fall for him...I mean if I had a co-star like Tavia doing fall and catch scenes I don't even need to act to have those eye contact like Raymond's!'
To this, the other rumoured boyfriend of Tavia, Ron Ng broke in jokingly 'Hey you guys forgot about me in The Academy with Tavia! I think we are pretty matching too!' Alex quickly reminded Ron to shush up because Ella Koon was there next to him.
However, Ronald refused to give up. He told Tavia 'don't consider Raymond because he has lots of girlfriends...you need someone like myself who is serious and responsible!'
Raymond quickly replied 'Hey I am serious when it comes to relationships!'
Ronald quick wittingly asked 'what about Michelle here?'
When Michelle started to answer, Raymond quickly cut her off saying 'we are co-stars and never went out cause we never had feelings for each other.'
Alex also hinted 'What about Tavia?' to which Raymond pretended he didn't hear the question and laughed nervously. Tavia was also blushing under her new tan and hid behind Ella Koon throughout the interrogation.
Warm Up GameWhen the show finally started the warm up it was to prepare the duck for the pekking duck dish. This required the contestants to skin the roasted duck and chop the rest of the duck meat into neat pieces to be arranged on the dish. The first one trying out was Ella Koon who took the knife confidently but looked as if she was chopping wood on the duck. The duck skin turned out to be attached to rather huge chunks of meat and the rest of the duck collapsed messily on the plate. The hosts teased that whoever becomes Ella's boyfriend in the future better not cheat on her because they might end up like the duck.
Michelle's duck chopping experience according to the actress is rather memorable as she never cooked before. Fearing of touching the oily duck with her perfect nails she bearly got pieces of skin out of the duck and it looked almost untouched when the time was up. In the end everyone thought Tavia's was the best out of all of them.
Round One- Thai Money Bags
Round One for the finals was the Thai Money Bags. Don't let the look decieve you because it is fairly hard to make. To make this dish, the chef said you need to cook the fillings stir fried on the pan. The contestants was given sqaure sheets of spring roll pastry and had to work out themselves how to put the filling the pastry and tie the top with celery strings to make it money bag shaped. Then the dumpling would have to be deep fried.
Ella Koon kick started with stir frying the fillings by pouring what looks to be rather excessive oil. Alex pointed out 'I thought we were safe because Ron Ng is here and she wouldn't poison her boyfriend. Now I have second thoughts!'
Ron laughed telling Ella 'hold back the oil! I'm getting fat!'
The camera didn't stay off Raymond at all, who's eyes never diverted from Tavia. The camera caught Michelle looking up at Raymond when cutting the pastry and Ronald decided to help out by telling Raymond 'Michelle needs your help. It's ok I will look after Tavia for you.'
Raymond didn't seem to have listened to Ronald at all but was shouting to Tavia 'Don't you need to cut the pastry in half first?'
Tavia was laughing as she held onto the pastry 'I have no idea what to do with this! Cut it huh?' she cut the pastry into two sheets of triangles.
Raymond continued talking to his rumoured girlfriend 'Now peel off the sheets one by one...'
Ronald interupted 'Excuse me but being a judge you are not supposed to help out'
It seems Raymond took no notice of Ronald's warnings as the time approached final 10 minutes he got up from the judges' seats- clearly frustrated by giving directions from where he was and walked up to Tavia's strawberry kitchen. Tavia had about seven money bags looking ready for frying. Raymond told her to stand back as he heated the oil and said to her 'you can get hurt...let me fry it'
Ron Ng also came up to the strawberry kitchen seeing Raymond frying 'You've got to decorate the dishes Tavia!' Tavia took his advice and started decorating the plates but not stealing glances of Raymond frying the money bags. At one point she pulled on his sleeves 'you better stand back a little bit' and 'the money bag is ready isn't it?'
The time of judgement soon followed. Ella Koon's money bags somehow tasted like it was steamed more than fried. Alex said it was because she was boiling the money bags at first then poured oil on top. But overall it was a rather...creative experience. Michelle's looked like parcels wrapped with excessive celery strings. Ronald could hardly bite through the thick pastry to get to the uncooked fillings in the center. Tavia's was agreed to have looked the best and the taste was good. The hosts took a couple points off for Raymond helping his rumoured girlfriend out but this was made up for by both judges giving Tavia a 10/10.
Round Two- Eel Dish
The final round was the creative contest whereby the contestants are given a main ingredient for them to make whatever they please. Seeing its the finals, the hosts had the perfect ingredient in mind- eels.
But first the contestants must take the eel out of the tank. Everyone had different tactics. Ella wearing thick mittens, Tavia with a frying pan and Michelle using the lid of a soup pot.
Raymond was about to hop out of his seat again when he saw Tavia's face but was dragged down by Ronald as he explains 'Its a beautiful cooking show...not a romatic cooking show!' But eventually due to time constraints the hosts and judges had to help the girls out with the eel. After it was properly cut, the boys settled back to enjoy the rest of the show. Raymond occasionally laughed at Tavia's silliness.
At the time of judgement, Ella presented her 'Deep Fried Eel pieces in spicy salt'. Alex thought it was more salt than anything else but she recieved a 51/60 for her hard effort. Tavia offered the judges 'Braised Eel with Garlic and Turnip' After tasting, Ronald turned to Raymond 'Ok after twice eating Tavia's food I have to admit she's good. Only her cooking makes me finish the whole plate.' Ronald also reveals to the audience maybe that was why Raymond gains weight during filming of Twins of Brothers and Golden Faith but lost so much weight in La Femme Desperado! Her final score for this category a 59/60. Michelle's 'Eel Soup' didn't earn much of a phraise from the judging panel scoring only 34/60.

Friends? Enemies? United...by the Power of Love

Ron thinking: I won't let you have my girl even if its the last thing I do!
Raymond thinking: Get off! Tavia is all mine and I have no intention of sharing.. muahahaha
Credits to TVB Newsflash It seems after Tavia's performance in the
Finals with both Raymond Lam and Ron Ng as judges, fuels the recent speculation of Raymond and Ron's rivalry. The pair of 'best friends' were seen at the show to be showing a certain bias towards the actress, giving her all 10s and constantly made witty comments about each other. Even though the recent beach outting confirms Raymond as the victor in every way, Ron doesn't appear to give up his maiden that easily and is using the fact that he shares the same manager with Tavia Yeung to his full advantage.
Last Valentine's Day, with Raymond being forced to do promotion with Sharon (and according to friends in the entertainment circle- much to his disappointment) Ron was able to pose with Tavia in various Valentine's Day promotion pictures. In front of thousands of fans at one of the shopping mall promotion, Ron was even gutsy enough to present Tavia a ring. To this, Raymond's friend said.
" Yeah Raymond was angry (name withheld) he was doing a promotion with Sharon at the time and had to look happy making steaks but inside he was fuming more than the grill. He thought Ron's wet kiss with Tavia onscreen was going over the lines and now giving her girl a ring actually did it for him. He feels like being cheated by his so called 'best-friend'...especially when they have the same taste in girls. Raymond was unhappy at one stage and was retreating...but now he made up his mind and determined not to lose his girl..."
During a promotional event with Ron Ng, Raymond was all smiles and didn't reveal much to the reporters. He had announced that he would be doing a new 40 episode series with Bosco and Tavia. When a magazine reporter asked Raymond "Is Bosco less of a threat to you since he has Myolie?" Raymond laughed it off good naturedly.
To this Ron had came up to his 'best friend' and laid an arm around Raymond's shoulders "He seems to be using his god father (TVB Management) to align Tavia's series with his! From being cameos in the same series during acting school to and now the 40 episode modern series!" Ron had also dropped a hint of Raymond getting Tavia a role in Eternal Happiness since the series was filmed in mainland and so Raymond had the chance of wooing Tavia.
In the end they hugged each other to 'make up' in front of reporters, claiming they were still best of friends in TVB. Ron even joked that Raymond could imagine he was Tavia by giving a syrupy look causing Raymond to laugh. However, onlookers could see the tension could not be lifted that easily as the knight's quest for the beautiful maiden continues! Will Raymond keep her girl or will the similarly handsome idol sweep her away from his grasp? Time will tell. But one thing's for sure. Raymond is not going to give up! With the expectation of the new series sparks would soon fly on viewer's screens more than their power sockets can handle!

The Heat is On! Rich Boyfriend Rumours Soars for Tavia!
News Credit: TVB NewsflashJust recently the newspaper cover photos spread like the hot summer breeze as TVB new generation actress Tavia Yeung was spotted at the beach in a bikini- comfortably showing off her 33B frame. Tavia had just finished filming TVB anniversaries
and the tanned look paid off as beach onlookers can't help but turn their heads at the hot actress as she walked pass. Reporters welcomely snapped photos off Tavia and her 'rumoured' boyfriend who is a 30 year old businessman with a fortune estimated to be worth $20 million. The photos slashed across the pages with reports saying the pair was in love as the man in question was also spotted at her store opening. With the recent speculation Tavia had responded by saying they were merely friends.
And TVB Newsflash is here to prove the case!
What the other reporters have failed to deliver in their scoop of the season was the similarly tanned dark figure we encircled. The suspect? Tall, dark, handsome and looking amazingly like TVB actor and co-star Raymond Lam!
Our team reporter (Kawaii) on her mission managed to snap exclusive photo to place the missing jig-saw to the puzzle. At 10:30am, Tavia and the businessmen along with other friends had arrived at the beach to enjoy soaking up the rays by the shores. The other reporters seemed to be quite satisfied in taking the shots then and there but TVB Newsflash has it all! Actor Raymond Lam (whom was busy with the filming of and Shanghai promotions previously) had been spotted, dashing down the flight of stairs to join his co-star Tavia at the beach. When he got there, he was seen to have called someone on his cell phone and Tavia at the same time, picked up the phone and excused herself from her group of friends. Both Raymond and Tavia disappeared for about half an hour before they reappeared. Raymond by that time had managed to change into a pair of speedos and walked alongside Tavia temporarily, seeming to be on the lookout for reporters before heading off for a quick dip in the waters.

Well into the afternoon at 4:45pm, the gang decided to break up their beach holiday. Tavia had been spotted to lovingly pass Raymond a towel and iced tea when he finished his swim and was in no way paying 'extra' attention to her so called businessman boyfriend. The businessman seems to have lost all hopes in his attempts to catch the actress' attention as all her eyes were on her co-star and also rumoured boyfriend Raymond Lam. Tell-tale signs such as a wink, a rub on the arms and a protective hand on Tavia's waist shows Raymond's interest in the stunning actress. The pair never stopped smiling.
Raymond headed off to his car first without first giving his girl a quick peak on the cheeks. At that point the businessman seems to have stood up and edgy to leave in a hurry. Tavia followed behind after the two men were well ahead of her. As our fellow reporters caught up with both actor/ress to the car park, Raymond was spotted to have brought take-aways, ready for a cosy night at home for two. When our reporter approached Raymond he was shocked for a bit and noticed our TVB Newsflash team member, he relaxed a little and managed a smile.
"No (cough) Tavia is not staying at my place tonight! I was just back from Shanghai and wanted to work on my tan...its just a coincidence!" He explained himself in a rather hurried manner as he watched Tavia drove off in her Mini-Cooper out of the corner of his eye. His eyes seems to have told our reporter that he wanted to catch up with Tavia on the road and we had no heart to hold him longer. He may have called it coincidence but most readers would call this 'fate'.
And so this report confirms the cover up! Yes Tavia was at the beach with a rumour but if we need to place a bet, the fat cash would be on Raymond Lam as the other guy's chances is close to zero. Any doubts would be eliminated with the way the TVB couple look into each other's eyes- On Screen and Off! 's ratings would sure to soar after this report. As will be the anticipated scenes of the hottest couple on Hong Kong shores!

Raymond and Tavia, the on-screen lovebirds, once more dazzled the crowds with their chemistry
Credits: Apple Daily and Manip: AsalieRaymond Lam and Tavia Yeung appeared very chummy yesterday at a fashion event for the designer brand, Dermes. Riding on the recent refueling of their rumoured relationship from their fiery chemistry on TVB series, The Charades of Deception, the host of the show purposely paired the two as scripted lovers, each modelling fashions which complemented each other. At the climax of the fashion show, Raymond and Tavia appeared hand in hand and ended with an intimate pose where Tavia snuggled herself into Raymond's embrace.
Following the fashion show, the couple also modelled Dermes accessories. At the request of the reporters on scene, Raymond helped Tavia by putting on a beautiful diamond necklace around her neck - a sweet gesture clearly not missed by Tavia as indicated by the smitten look on her face.
When asked by the reporters how she'd felt when Raymond was putting the necklace on her, Tavia smiled sweetly and replied, "It was all part of the fashion show. Who wouldn't be happy wearing such a beautiful necklace?" Afterwards, she laughed out loud when asked to comment on how Raymond looked that day and she admitted that he was very handsome in his suit that day.
No security guards were necessary to protect the diamond necklace worth over thirty thousand dollars HK around Tavia's neck as Raymond was seen snuggling up close to her protectively for the entire evening. To Tavia's compliment, Raymond chuckled shyly and returned the favour by saying that she also looked extremely beautiful, especially in her complementing satin evening gown.
Their recent bed scene on The Charades of Deception has become one of the hottest topics in Hong Kong right now as it had skyrocketed the ratings of that episode to 36 points. The couple appeared embarrassed when asked to comment about their 'performance'. Tavia blushed fervently when reporters asked her how Raymond was in bed.
"It was all acting! Raymond and I have cooperated with each other on many occasions already so we have already established an understanding on how to film that scene. It was not embarrassing at all and we did not require the set to be cleared. Even the director said we performed well."
Even comments about the couple baring more skin to the point of challenging television limits did not faze Tavia's confidence and she merely explained that Raymond and her have already made the necessary preparation beforehand under the blankets and that the scene was supposed to show a further development in their on-screen romance.
Raymond, on the other hand, shied away from the prying questions. When asked whether the bed scene was his favourite filmed so far with Tavia, he immediately diverted the question and instead answered that his favourite scene filmed with Tavia so far was in Twins of Brother.
"We were filming a scene together at the shore of a river. It was supposed to be a very romantic scene together, complete with fireworks, which was a first for both Tavia and me. The background scenery was breathtaking which greatly contributed to the chemistry I felt while filming with her, one of the most intense filming experience I've ever had. The only bad thing was that it was below zero degrees that night so it was very cold. But since the scene required for us to hug, we were able to keep each other warm."
Tavia upon hearing his last line smiled sweetly, but quickly covered it up, but not before getting caught on camera by the photographer.

K-100 Exclusive Interview with Bosco, Raymond, and Tavia from The Charades of Deception"Welcome to all viewers to K-100. I'm Natalie Tong and today I will be your host for this special segment of K-100 in which I will be interviewing three of the main cast of the successful drama series, The Charades of Deception, which I'm also in! Please welcome Raymond Lam, Tavia Yeung, and Bosco Wong."
Natalie sat the two actors and the actress in front of her. Jokes flew about as Natalie prepared for them to begin the interview.
Natalie: Welcome to K-100, Raymond, Tavia, and Bosco.
All: Thanks, Natalie.
N: First of all, I would like to congratulate all three of you for the huge success in ratings in The Charades of Deception. So for the first rounds of question, my victim will be Raymond.
Raymond [laughing]: Oh no...
N: So how does it feel to work with [looking at Tavia evilly] Bosco?
Bosco looked at Tavia and tried to cover his mouth from laughing. Tavia responded by jabbing him back hard on the ribs.
R: Hmm...I definitely had more fun working with Ron in Twins of Brothers.
Bosco: Hey! [shoved Raymond in the shoulder] He definitely had fun both times, since he got to work with Tavia for both series!
Tavia: Hey, hey, hey. Don't drag me into this!
N: Don't worry, you two. I'll soon get to you guys. Raymond, a lot of reviews has praised you for your acting in your dramatic role as an ambitious, cute, but slightly villainous entrepreneur. How do you think you have performed in this series yourself?
R: A lot of viewers have actually compared my role to that played by Ron in Revolving Doors of Vengeance and that personally played by myself as Oscar in The Golden Faith. I think the audience are probably thinking that my rebellious nature in The Charades resembles those two characters, but I personally think that this character is a little bit different. For one part, my role in The Charades is calm, collected, very analytical, pragmatic...
N [interrupting]: And also very romantic. [smiling at Tavia]
R [chuckled]: Uhh...yeah. Whereas, Ron's character was sort of fiery and on the impulsive side. Oscar was like a little kid who can be easily influenced to do anything, even if its against his primal good nature.
N: How did you feel working with Louis again? The last series you two have cooperated was A Step Into The Past, and back then, there were rumours of a fallout between you two?
R [laughing]: There are rumours of a fallout between everyone and me. Just a couple of weeks ago, everyone started talking about a supposed rift between Ron and me. It's stupid. I'm happy to be working with Louis again. He taught me a lot back then when I was still a beginner and even now that I am more experienced, I still have a lot to learn from him.
N: Enough of the basics stuff. I think everyone really wants to know how you felt when you filmed those steamy scenes with Tavia?
T [sat straight up]: What? Nobody wants to know that!
B [hands up]: I do! I do!
Both Raymond and Tavia simultaneously leaned over to shove Bosco.
N: There was this one particular scene where both you and Tavia were swimming in the ocean back in Greece. How did you feel about that scene?
R [shifted nervously]: Uhh...I thought we did a pretty good job.
B: They were both grinning when they walked out of the water!
T: Was not! [slapped Bosco's shoulder] We were cold and our teeth were chattering so it might have looked like we were grinning!
N [raising her eyebrow]: Tavia, is this the first series where you filmed your first bed scene?
T: Hmm...I think so. No...wait, I had a bed scene with Matt Yeung in The W Files. But I guess this is the first one where I actually had to show some skin and scare off some of the audience.
N: I'm certain that at least the male sector of the audience is appreciative of that... [the group laughed] Did you feel uncomfortable filming such an intimate scene with Raymond on the bed, who was also unclothed?
Raymond and Tavia, heating it up with a fiery kiss, for the acclaimed bedroom sceneT [darted a glance at Raymond, then looked back at Natalie]: No...Raymond and I have worked together on many occasions already so we have pretty much gotten used to each other's acting style. He can pretty much read my mind and I his. In this way, we're very compatible as on-screen co-stars, because we know exactly how to build the right chemistry.
N: But to film such an intimate scene...aren't you two scared of generating rumours?
B [laughing]: What? Don't you think the rumours about them are already enough? What else can a bed scene do?
R: Besides [biting his lip], we were wearing clothes underneath the blankets.
The three laughed as Raymond self-consciously tried to rub his face in an effort to shield his blushing face from the camera.
N: Alright, I'll let you off the hook on that one, Tavia. So what is your most memorable scene in this entire series?
T [tapped her finger against her chin]: Well...there's a lot actually, because my character experienced so much turmoil and complicated relationships with the people surrounding her. But I guess one of the sweetest scenes that stuck to my memory is when RAYMOND'S CHARACTER tried to make up with me after a fight between us two. I was sitting at a restaurant by myself and all of a sudden, he showed up with signs.
N: I remember that scene. Let's take a look at it again.
R [buried his head in his hands]: Oh noooo...

Pic 1: No matter what happens in the future...
Pic 2: Or if you become...
Pic 3: Self-explanatory
Pic 4: I want you to be together with me
Picture Credits: www.tvbsquare.comB: Awwwwww...Raymond. I never got a chance to watch that scene. I never knew you were such a romantic sap!
R [slugged Bosco on the arm]: Hey, if the script calls for it.
N: I remember that scene was aired at the end of an episode, so the ratings of the next episode skyrocketed to 35 as everyone was waiting for Tavia's answer.
B [looked down]: Man...everyone always forgets my butt-flashing scene.
N [laughing]: Don't worry, Bosco. For sure, I won't forget to mention that when it's your part of the interview. Tavia, how did you feel when Raymond approached you like that?
T: Raymond's character, Natalie. I think any girl like me would be smitten. It was just the simplicity of the scene that really captivated me. Sometimes, words just aren't necessary.
B: Hear that, Raymond? Next time you piss off Tavia, just write her a letter and save your money on the flowers.
N: Actually that reminds me...what is the deal with the wedding photo of you two?
R: Uh oh...I knew she was going to bring this up.
T [laughing]: We were just fooling around back then. It doesn't mean anything.
N: But it also doesn't help with settling the rumours between you two.
R: Trust reporters to be able to find everything. You guys can believe whatever you want...Tavia and I have already said enough.
The interview continues with Natalie turning her attention to Bosco, while the golden couple, Raymond and Tavia sat together laughing as it was Bosco's turn to struggle with his own questions.

From Reel Life to Real Life...the Love Story Continues!By: TVB NewsflashReporter: Winnie
Photographer: Clarissa

Since the TVB anniversary
, Raymond Lam and Tavia Yeung has been reknown as TVB's golden couple. The names of 'Oscar' and 'Kiko' was on the tip of all viewer's tongue. Some might hate them for their characters being so easily manipulated by others but in essence the pair were the only ones in the whole series who were strong enough to love without hesitation. TVB Newsflash's fresh new cover story is going to venture into the 'real' life of the Raymond and Tavia.
Earlier in the morning, with a mug of caffe mocha in my hands I was keen to interview the pair. The meeting place? A coffee shop in the heart of Causeway Bay. When they arrived together one can immediately notice the sweetness of their smiles, the way Raymond led Tavia in the coffee shop and how his hands was on her back as the stunning actress sat down.
The interview started shortly after a quick joke whilst the waiter took the order (for Tavia a cinnamon tea and for Raymond a cup of espresso- the pair claimed they had something to eat at TVB studio prior to their arrival). When I mentioned TVB acting class it seems to have brought fond memories to them.
"We see each other in class but I never really talked to her before since there was a lot of people" Raymond recollected "but once the instructor paired her up with me in this scene we were supposed to act out..." he turned to Tavia "wasn't it legend of the Condor Heroes?"
"Yeah it was" Tavia agreed
Raymond smiled before continuing "Yeah it was like- we clicked. The instructor gave us several working opportunities before we grad. Of course we also met Ron. He was in the dancing class next door."
Being amused by all these sudden outburst of memories, I conjured up my courage to ask Tavia was it true that she had a crush on Ron Ng as she had claimed in another interview. She bursted out laughing saying it was one of those silly crush people have from time to time but she's over it and she's still good friends with Ron who shared the same manager. So what about Raymond?
"Did I ever have a crush on this guy?" She laughs, pointing at the actor sitting next to him.
"Hey I want to know too!" Raymond had protested jokingly "Me or Ron? You can't have both!"
Tavia pretended to think it over before answering "Mmm....maybe"
In responding to their current raise in popularity after the airing of the pair expressed they have to thank all their supporters. As for their numerous rumors they continued to have their lips sealed claiming that it is just the start of their career. Raymond replied earnestly saying "I want to earn enough money before making a life-long commitment because I'm quite serious when it comes to relationships. I am not the impulsive type to make a promise that I can't keep but yes I would like to have a family in due time..."
On the topic of Raymond's new Taiwanese series with actress Tammy, he claimed everything was going great. "The only thing is our (Raymond and Tavia's) fans were always saying how we never had a piggyback picture taken like the one I had with Tammy...so to satisfy them Tavia and I purposely posed exactly the same as the one I did with Tammy on TVB Newsflash's Cover!"
Tavia pointed out that they actually had a public-piggyback during Promotion. When chatting about her character in the series as Lee Sau Ning she said it was quite sad to see her character ending that way "its because deep down she's like any other girl who wants to be with the man she loves but because of various circumstances she cannot lose herself to her desires and had to let go..."
It was known during the filming of TOB all the cast got along together great. Christina Ng, Leila Tong and Tavia also formed a knitting club to knit scarves during their precious free time. Raymond here made a complaint "What's the use of having a rumoured girl friend when she never knitted me a scarf?!"
Hmm...true but what's the blue one I see hanging around his neck when he was filming the series?

Lost Photo?! Raymond and Tavia's Wedding!by TVB Newsflash
Caption: Dream photo found! Yesterday, TVB Newsflash office was interupted by an astonishing find by one of our photographers. When shown with the photo (above) the crew found it hard to believe after months of Raymond and Tavia tailing we have missed their secret wedding. After a confirmation from the source of this photo it was revealed that it was nothing of the nature. Asalie (note: name has been changed to protect the source) said she had found the dream photo accidently left behind by the couple after taking it at a popular dream-photo studio at Tsim Sha Tsui.
The owner of the studio told TVB Newsflash Reporters that the rumoured pair had been walking down the street and noticed the shop. The pair was curious and walked in together, seemingly enjoying the day out. Although Raymond was wearing a pair of dark glasses and Tavia in a Von Dutch cap the owner immediately recognised the couple as Golden Faith's Oscar and Kiko. Having carefully looked at the range of photo machines they stopped at the latest model with the function of graphic manipulation and took several pictures. After they were satisfied with their collection of cards and sticker photos they sat down to divide the photos between them. Tavia was seen playfully taking Raymond's wallet and stuck a sticker on the inside and Raymond in return did the same to Tavia's wallet.
Once they were finished they left in a hurry before a group of teenagers flooded in to avoid anyone noticing them and consequently left a picture behind accidentally. Before they left the place, the owner got the opportunity to get an autograph from the pair and the pair thanked the owner for his comment on the couple's performance in TVB anniversary's

When TVB Newsflash got to question Raymond about 'Mrs Lam' at TVB Studio, he gave an guilty smile when he saw the photo on our reporter's hand and replied 'we were only fooling around! We are good friends! It was our day off and we kinda dared each other to do it'
Further interrogation seems to be required to get more information out of the conservative actor but he finally surrendered and said 'you ask Tavia...'
So would TVB management be happy of this rumored turned couple? Raymond laughs 'I think TVB should be happy since it would mean higher ratings for 'The Charade of Deception''. He later moves on to the subject of his airing series saying that the story would pick up soon and expects the ratings to soar with the possibility of outshining 'A Dance of Passion'.

Raymond plays 'doctor' to TaviaYesterday, actor Raymond Lam seemed to have reprised his role in The Last Breakthrough when he played doctor to his own rumoured girlfriend, Tavia Yeung.
Last weekend after the All About Women concert, Tavia and a group of TVB actors and actresses, including Raymond himself, Ron Ng, Bosco Wong, Kevin Cheng, Bernice Liu, and Sharon Chan went for a post-concert celebration at an unnamed seafood restaurant. Luck didn't seem to be with Tavia that night as she was the only one struck with severe food poisoning and had to be rushed to the hospital.
A follow-up of the hospitalization revealed her rumoured boyfriend, Raymond to have taken her home and he was seen to leave her apartment not until 8am that morning. Bombarded by the crowd of reporters, Raymond seemed extremely agitated and refrained from speaking.
However, once Tavia was on her way to recuperation, Raymond's mood seemed to have lightened and was seen laughing and joking around with his best friend, Ron Ng.

When asked about the food poisoning incident, Ron chuckled and pointed an accusatory finger at Raymond.
"Poor Tavia. She actually drank Raymond's fish soup that night," Ron said, shaking his head, but added, "but he redeemed himself by drinking the 'soup' that Kevin, Bosco, and I prepared for him."
At this point, Raymond laughed and gagged, indicating the effect of the soup was worse than probably anything Tavia has suffered. He certainly has suffered enough to make up for his punishment - trust him to be such a caring boyfriend towards Tavia!
Following nearly a week of recovery, Tavia was finally able to resume her work and appeared yesterday alongside her rumoured honey at a fashion function. Throughout the entire event, Raymond was very attentive towards his girlfriend, making sure to tend to the still weak Tavia's every needs.

When reminded by the reporters about Raymond's so-called punishment, Tavia blushed. "Really? It wasn't really his fault. I wasn't really looking and I just drank his soup by accident."
Raymond, who was standing beside her, laughed awkwardly and shied at the reporters' questions, fully concentrating on showing off the clothes he was wearing.

All About Woman...Revealed!
Caption: Raymond doing his last round checking to see if the camera works.
Caption: Raymond means business when he held up the 'Fungyi' sign urging his fans to support his rumoured girlfriend Tavia and the 'Fungyi-mania'!
TVB NewsflashFrom the triumph of All About Men's the TVB girls are going to show the audience which sex truely captivates the audience! With the amazing guest including Mariam, Kelly, Bondy, Jessica, Bernice, Niki, Tavia, Ella and Gigi Lai, the show is bound to generate star power. TVB assures all profit goes to charity. Before the night began a team of
Raymond, Ron, Kevin and Patrick said they would sit in the audience and cheer for the girls.
To which Patrick adds "Just in case they have nobody...Tavia is my sister after all in
While sadly Bosco was away doing promotion in mainland, Ron ensures he would yell encore on behalf of his buddy. When asked whether he would hold any sign for the girls he said no because he is down right embarrassed and afraid the reporters would accuse him of undercover love with his rumoured girl friend but he defensively points to his T-Shirt with a letter B and said he is cheering for Bernice.
So who organised this boy's night out? Accusing fingers pointed to the suspect- Raymond Lam. Kevin also reveals they would be filming the girls so they can tease them when they get off stage "It would be so memorable!"
As to previously promising to hold onto a specially fan-made sign, Raymond proudly displayed it that night in support of his rumoured girl-friend Tavia Yeung.
"It's great because it kills two birds with one stone." He smiled "One way of supporting Tavia up on stage and another promoting myself! All credit to our fans though cos when we (Tavia and himself) saw the poster we liked it!"
So would he be afraid of rumours? He waved the thought away "It's suppose to be a fun night. The media can say what they want." When TVB Newsflash dared Raymond to walk around at the front of the entrance waving the 'Fungyi' sign there was no hesitation. He good naturely picked up the sign and started waving it high in the air chanting 'Tavia' with the rest of the boys behind him causing much delight in the crowd. That is until the concert started and the boys packed into their front row seats.
Throughout the whole show everyone was having a good time. Only when Ella and Niki was up on the stage the fans cried out 'Ron is here!" and pointed at the direction of the guys making the girls blush in embarrassment. When Bernice came onstage with her team of dancers performing a sexy belly dance the crowd loved her and at the end of the peformanced joked Ron's 'B' wasn't big enough and expect a bigger sign next time.
The peak of the show was when Tavia came onstage singing 'forever beautiful' by Sammi. Her eyes couldn't pull away from the scene in the front row with Raymond holding up the 'Fungyi' sign up high! Eventually with the crowd chanting 'fungyi' non stop, Tavia and Bernice offered the guys to come onstage to wave to their fans. Being a gentlemen, the boys had prepared bouquets of flowers for the girls. TVB Newsflash noticed a card in Tavia's bouquet and when we asked her about whether it was from Raymond after the show she blushed and said it was from a fan.

Tavia Yeung's new body - a bad influence on Raymond Lam's health?
Credit: post.baidu.com
Yesterday, actress Tavia Yeung was dressed in a bathing suit for a swimming scene for her new series, Casino Turbulence, with every inch of her body oozing sex appeal. The scene required for fellow co-star, Bosco Wong, to rescue Tavia who was having difficulty in swimming.
When asked whether he had any type of 'reaction' to Tavia's body, Bosco laughed and shook his fist at the reporter, "Are you trying to get me in trouble with my good buddy, Ray?"
When pursued further to ask whether he was implying that Raymond was Tavia's jealous boyfriend, Bosco quickly diverted the question and commented that Tavia is naturally pretty.
What was Raymond's reaction when he saw Tavia being dunked into the water and her new sexy body being at risk of ogling by every male workers on the crew? Bosco joked that Raymond would probably have a nosebleed if he saw Tavia walking out of the water like a Baywatch lifeguard towards him.

Today, Raymond Lam was attending a promotional event for his new series, La Femme Desperado, at Langham Place in MongKok.

Credit: www.ws-ws.com
The actor seemed very subdued and quiet during the whole event, except for a rare smile whenever he was on stage. When asked about Tavia's sexy swimming scene with Bosco, any trace of smile immediately disappeared, quickly replaced by a frown.
The reporters asked him whether he was jealous and worried about people ogling at his girlfriend, but Raymond just forcefully smiled and replied that he hasn't been feeling well. No matter how much the reporters pursued, he kept denying that he was jealous and merely praised Tavia for being beautiful in her new series.
Oops didn't notice that Raymond's picture had a name tag for the Last Breakthrough...haha...alright fellow FungYis, just pretend it says La Femme Desperado

ALL ABOUT WOMAN'S Concert

The profits of this show and from the album is believed to be donated to Sacred Heart Charity Foundation for medical services to the community.
Just before the show starts, TVB had treated its artists dinner and amongst the guests participating at the concert including Kelly, Mariam, Bondy, Jessica, Bobo, Ella, Bernice, Niki, Tavia and Myolie. Not only did the girls appear wearing beautiful dresses but it also seems they were escorted by a bunch of All About Men's hot male singers Raymond, Ron, Kevin and Patrick! TVB Newsflash taken this opportunity for some serious interrogation.
"We are here to see if the girls can beat us!" Ron joked "The guys are sure win!"
To this Bernice had responded by saying that the girls are way sexier than the guys.
"They never brought our album! I had to buy it for them so I should get theirs for free!" He laughs.
But what about the shy rumoured couple of Raymond and Tavia?
"The girls are dragging us to wave their name signs!" Raymond accused "And we have to pay for our front row seats too!" But instead of feeling ripped, he responded by saying its all for charity so its okay. What would happen if he wasn't supporting his girl friend?
When asked what sort of sign would he be holding up Raymond laughs "A fan of Tavia and I had made us a sign already so I would be using that. We were given the name of Fungyi, as in ah Fung and ah Yi. So I would be waving that up high! At least it has both of our names on it!"
TVB Newsflash would be back later for an update of All About Woman's Concert.

The Charade of Deception Casts Takes Over Super Trio!
Caption: The leads shows their confidence when arriving at the TVB studio!
Caption: Playing the games and Eric Tsang repeated to Ray 'Just focus on your feelings on your back!' when Raymond had to piggy-back Tavia and walk the 'path of torture'
Caption: After changing into some dry clothes, the pair collapsed and settled down for a burger and fries. But Raymond still had the energy to make funny faces to see Tavia laugh.
Credits: TVB NewsflashIt was a memorable moment when Super Trio announced the end of the season but TVB revived the game show for a TVB special! The cast of
had increased their popularity immensely and upon request by 570 fan letters and even more alarming email rates, TVB had asked the cast to be in the 'Super Trio - Deceptional Challenge' show!
The Charade of Deception guests including Raymond Lam, Tavia Yeung, Leila Tong, Bosco Wong, Christine Ng and Kevin Cheng confidently said that they are not going to be intimidated by the quick mouths of the hosts Eric Tsang, Chin Kar Lok and Jerry Lamb and are going to play them into their own hands!
Bosco playfully rolled up his sleeves and laughs 'I've been on his shows before and they caught me off guard! This time I'm prepared! I have the whole cast behind me! We are planning to...' he whispers cheekily 'don't tell them this! But if we have to aim cream pie at anyone, we are aiming for the biggest target! haha'
Asking Kevin what he have planned he said 'I want Eric Tsang to carry me over the path of torture (Sek Chun Lo)! I made sure I'm heavy today!'
The girls said they were also ready, with water-proof make up, wore dark tops and brought spare clothes to change. 'I made sure my girls are protected from Eric Tsang's wondering eyes!' Christine said defensively and smiled 'I know Tavia and Leila really well! We established the knitting club together during the filming of Twins of Brothers!'
But when the show started it was a totally different story! The cast were split into smaller teams with Raymond, Tavia, Bosco in the 'Pretty girl and handsome guys team' and Christine, Leila and Kevin in the 'electrifying eyes team'. The first game was the passing of the sea weed pieces. Eric Tsang had purposely made Tavia in the middle and asked Raymond 'is that okay with you?' The audience laughed when Raymond was forced to answer 'its okay' but stealing protective glances at his rumoured girl friend from the beginning. Bosco told the crowd 'You put me in such a bad position! I'm getting death stares already! TVB must pay me more to do this!' but nevertheless pretended to wipe his mouth before playing the game. In the end the 'Pretty girl and handsome guys' team lost by 5 pieces.
The hosts didn't make it any easier when it was the time for 'the paths of torture'! When Raymond was focusing on walking on the stone paths with Tavia on his back, the host Eric Tsang tried to make him laugh by saying 'don't worry! just focus on what you feel on your back!' Jerry Lamb added, faking Tavia's voice 'Honey ar...I would break up with you if you drop me like this!' Causing Tavia to break into a peal of laughter and holding onto the unsteady Raymond even more tightly.
Then it was Tavia's turn to pick Raymond up. She was wailing at how heavy he was and complained 'You ate too much during lunch today!' Raymond looked even more painful than Tavia when he got on her back and with the help of the hosts half carrying Raymond for her, Tavia managed to finish her mission.
Next up was the 'Dai Churng Look' where the cast needs to roll across the hilly mat. Not wanting to stop their teasing, Eric specified that Bosco, Raymond and Tavia needs to do a threesome roll. Bosco blurted out to Raymond 's-o-r-r-y!'. Raymond and Tavia laughing awkwardly but eventually gave in to the crowd's request. Raymond decided to lay down first, then Tavia on top of him. All the while Chin Kar Lok teasing 'Mrs Yeung should not watch this! Don't worry if you are watching! I'll make sure the pair gets married after this intimacy!' Tavia closed her eyes laughing and told Chin Kar Lok she's going to complain to his long time girl friend Lee San San about this! Raymond was seriously trying to see how he could hold onto Tavia without Bosco touching too much of her. He finally decided to wrap one arm around her back and the other just above her butt and gave Bosco the okay to go on top. Bosco made sure he wasn't invading the 'Mrs Lam' and together they somehow completed their task. Bosco ended up off the mat altogether, Tavia ended up on top of Raymond laughing and the pair not bothered to get up in a hurry.
Finally the game ended with the guessing numbers game. At the end the cast turned on the hosts and started an impressive attack of cream, making the hosts look like snowmen. The guys of The Charade of Deception casts told the girls to stay at the back line to avoid the creamy mess whilst the guys sustained most of the cream pie injuries of the host and guest war. Guess it was a good thing everyone brought spare clothes to change and chill out with some food in their stomache afterwards!

A truce to the raging jealousy war?Earlier TVB NewsFlash has speculated that one of the hottest pairs of TVB, Raymond Lam and Tavia Yeung were engaged in a fight in which both parties were jealous of the attention they were getting from third parties. Reports of Raymond hiring a personal female assistant to take care of his every needs during his filming for Tai Chi did not make Tavia a happy camper, but Raymond himself did not look too happy when he heard about the amount of male attention Tavia has been receiving due to her new sexy image for her new series, Casino Turbulence. Rumours of Benny pursuing Tavia only fueled up the debate even more and were perhaps the underlying reason for Raymond's rapid return to Hong Kong from Shanghai yesterday night to salvage his relationship.
Yesterday night, both Raymond and Tavia were present at a dinner party with the TVB executives and other heavily promoted actors and actresses. They seemed to be ignoring each other at the beginning of the dinner where Raymond was spotted talking only to Kevin Cheng and Sharon Chan and at the opposite corner of the room, Tavia was chatting with Ron Ng and Bosco Wong and were even arranged to sit at different tables. Could it be the rumours finally getting to him? Raymond, after settling down at his table for ten minutes, finally couldn't stand it and walked over to where Tavia was sitting and persuaded his buddy, Ron to switch seats with him. The iceberg between them seemed to have melted, because no sooner he sat down, he was engaged in deep conversation with his rumoured honey and the two were seen whispering and laughing as if they were enjoying a personal secret between them.
Rumours or no rumours, it seems nothing can rock this golden couple from their state of blissfulness.

Due to the high ratings of A Pillowcase of Mystery, with the finale episode peaking at 39 points [this was made up], the entire main cast held a celebratory promotion at Tsim Sha Tsui yesterday in which they played many games under the theme of pillow and bed. Actress Tavia Yeung won the competition for being able to stick the most pillows onto her body and when actor Bobby Au-Yeung lost, everybody lunged forward to ambush him with pillows, creating a definite fun and rowdy environment.
During the filming of A Pillowcase, Tavia Yeung and her fellow co-star, Benny Chan, have become very close friends to the point that Benny has been seen driving Tavia home. Yesterday at the event, Tavia and Benny did not seem to be afraid of rousing up rumours and were seen standing close together, whispering and laughing. It seems quite strange that while Tavia and Benny are heating it up in Hong Kong, their respective rumoured boyfriend and girlfriend, Raymond Lam and Charmaine Sheh are together in Shanghai for their promotion of Lethal Weapons of Love and Passion.
When asked whether she was afraid that Raymond will get jealous of all the male attention she has been receiving, especially after she has revealed her new sexy image for her new series, Casino Turbulence, Tavia laughed it off and replied, "Raymond gets a lot of female attention himself!" Was that a dig against Raymond who was recently rumoured to have hired a personal female assistant to tend to his 'needs'?
Benny, who has always been in denial of his relationship with Charmaine, insisted that Tavia was just a good friend of his but he teasingly added that if her rumours with Raymond weren't true, then a pursuit just might happen.

Credits: lamfung.net
What's the big secret, honey? At the hotel in which they were staying, Raymond Lam cheekily posted for the camera and seemed unfazed by the rumours heating up between Tavia and Benny. When asked to respond to Tavia's supposed dig at him getting a lot of female attention, he just merely chuckled and said, "She's very siu hay. I'm pretty sure more guys have been pursuing her with her new image than the number of girls I'm supposedly associated with."
Seems like things are not only heating up between Tavia and Benny. Looks like a jealousy war is about to start between one of the hottest couples of TVB!

TVB Backstage Gossip- Friends or Foes?

airing earlier this week, and the rating already up at 32 points average within the first few episodes- what more can the cast want? Thankfully, as Adam joked, his screening did not affect the stock markets with his 'Ding Hai' effect. TVB Newsflash rounded up the cast to ask what they are going to do to celebrate.
"We are going to have a house party to watch the series airing together!" Bosco laughed
Leila nearby jabbed him in the ribs playfully and suggested the whole crew turn up at his apartment to which Bosco complained his was not big enough to fit so many people. Kevin also added that its okay about the size, at least the whole crew is cosy.
"Anyone's house is fine" Bosco told TVB Newsflash "Except for Raymond's place cos it's reserved!"
What did Bosco imply by this? He ventured on another topic of the crew's stay in Athens. "Due to budget constraints, although our characters are owners of 5 star hotels, I had to share a room with Raymond! It was good in a way because we shared all our video games but he just don't want to be my room-mate" Bosco laughs "You guys ask him why? I am a fairly tidy male!"
The end of last year, there were rumours the male lead Raymond Lam, was head to head with rising idol Ron Ng. Not only Ron scored the golden roles in , and but also had his first album sold out. Being held back in mainland to film and , Raymond's popularity and fanbase seems to be consumed by Ron Ng's hot new image. This apparently sparked Raymond's request of coming back to Hong Kong and taking more modern roles to re-establish his number one idol throne.
But adding to this controversy, there is another reason why Raymond wants to come home- Tavia Yeung.
The bond they shared, Raymond had once said 'Tavia and I worked so hard to get to where we are now. For her particularly. I remember seeing her in class when we were in the acting academy. She was the quiet girl but when the instructor told me to pair up with her in a practice scene, we just connected somehow. It was amazing. Deep down she's really independant and works hard at each opportunity she's given'
'We both started as cameo and funny enough we were always in the same series but never had a line with each other. Then I got my big break in "A Taste of Love" and got promoted in the ranking of male actors. My first lead was in with Michelle Yip but I was really happy to see Tavia there as well! We hardly had any scenes together but we hang out during breaks. Later when I got casted in I was over the moon to see Tavia as Kiko and we rang each other getting all excited for acting together the first time. also brought memorable moments in my acting career because at that point both of us were acknowledged.'
But earlier this year nearing Valentines Day and Raymond was off in mainland, Ron had openly gave Tavia a ring as a gift. What was the intention of this best friend?
Raymond shrugged it off 'Ron is a good friend. We hang out together a lot. We are not enemies like the media portrays.'
Well one thing is for sure. Raymond Lam determination not to be restationed back at mainland sure paid off. He scored not only a lead in a TVB big budget anniversary, he is co-starring Tavia Yeung. Seeing Tavia's smile at the suspicous bouquet of lilies at her birthday, no wonder Raymond is smiling at his right choice!

Yesterday, Bosco Wong and Tavia Yeung, along with Bobby Au Yeung and Jessian Hsuen, played up a storm at Times Square for the promotion of their newest series, Casino Turbulence. The normally conservative Tavia, at the request of the promotions manager, showed off her newly enhanced 'assets', probably raising many eyebrows and heart rates of the men in the audience.
Tavia explained that in the new series, she plays a pageant contender who undergoes breast enlargement for the sake of increasing her chances of winning. When asked whether she would ever get her breasts enlarged in real life, she shook her head adamantly and explained that she's entirely comfortable with what she was born with and is rather distrustful of the side effects that may come about from the surgery.
At this point, Bosco Wong interrupted and playfully put his arms around Tavia, while grinning at the camera. "This is for Raymond who used to hog all of Tavia's time when we were filming for The Charades of Deception and who also is all the way in China right now and can't do anything about it."
When asked to comment about Tavia's new sexy image, Bosco gave it two thumbs up. "She looks gorgeous! Although it's getting harder and harder to film scenes with her now, since there's more to focus on." As Bosco laughed at his own pun, Tavia jabbed him hard in the ribs, setting off the laughter of Bobby and Jessica who was standing nearby. Bosco, recovering from the jab, added slyly, "But I don't think I'm the person you should be asking to comment on her new image. Trying flying to Shanghai for a better opinion."

Meanwhile in Shanghai, Julian Cheung, Charmaine Sheh, and Raymond Lam were attending an awards ceremony. Once deemed to be a golden on-screen couple, Julian and Charmaine reunited and smiled gamely at the camera. Raymond who received an award for his performance in the Twin of Brothers, smiled rather awkwardly at a distance from the two old friends who were chatting animatedly.
Was Raymond angry about Bosco's intimacy and comments about his rumoured girlfriend, Tavia's new sexy image? When asked about his disinterested look during the post-ceremony picture-taking, Raymond smiled quickly and explained that he hasn't been feeling well and wished that he could go back to Hong Kong to drink his mother's soup.
When asked whether Tavia makes soup for him on a regular basis, he laughed, "It's more like the other way around. It's scary to let her near the stove."
On the topic of Tavia's enhanced 'assets', Raymond chuckled once again, "When she showed me a picture of her new image in Casino Turbulence, I couldn't stop laughing for five minutes. I think she looks great, but I personally think she is cuter in more casual and conservative outfits. She's fine the way she is."
Who, other than Raymond Lam, would be a better critic on how Tavia looks best? Or was he worried about all the male attention that she is getting that he had to opt for the more conservative image? Time will tell as the filming of Casino Turbulence continues.

Promotion Begins for TVB's new series

Credits TVB NewsflashToday the cast for TVB's new series
held their first promotional campaign at SOGO department store, Causeway Bay. Although most of the cast were busy with their heavy schedule, the main cast managed to turn up at some point in time. Jessica came in towards the end due to work commitment in a series she was working on and left after half an hour.
The two leads Raymond Lam and Tavia Yeung both turned up about ten minutes late. Raymond appologised infront of the media saying it was Tavia's fault. "Her Mini Cooper was infront of me when we both drove into the carpark. It was so hard to find a carspace! When Tavia found one, she found it hard to reverse park so I got out of my car and did it for her!"
As Raymond sang the theme to in front of the excited crowd, Bosco turned up with stole the microphone from Raymond and started singing it himself! The two friends playfully fought over the microphone on the stage and eventually resolved by sharing.
"Ray hogs the microphone too much!" Bosco protested playfully in front of the reporters "Just like how he hogs our female lead! Whenever I try to strike a decent conversation with Tavia, Ray keeps getting in the way!"
Raymond laughed at Bosco's complaints "I never knew you like Tavia!"
Bosco sighed "That's because I never had a chance to make a move with this guy (he points to Raymond) in the way. Everytime Tavia sees him in the expensive suit she goes crazy! I guess I would join Ron!"
After Raymond appologised to his good friend, Bosco told the media "Don't worry! I have Tavia all to myself in !" and let out an evil laugh.
TVB Newsflash then questioned Tavia about which gentlemen she prefered. She blushed and said "I never knew they like me! Of course they are joking! They keep teasing me that I'm a tomboy!"
Later Bosco told TVB Newsflash that he was only playing around and is still good friends with both Raymond and Tavia "I was only joking about going after Tavia we are good friends...I don't know about Raymond though!" He hinted.
During the promotion, Bosco teased the rumoured couple by singing a duet with Tavia, Alex Fong and Stephy's "Ho Sum Ho Bo" (Good Heart, Good Return) where the song played on Bosco in Alex's role being commited to the girl but Tavia in Stephy's role only loved Raymond and refused Bosco's relationship even though Bosco may be better than Raymond. The crowd was already hyped up over this act and Tavia couldn't help laughing throughout the song. Raymond was also laughing in the backstage.
Later the at the crowd's demand, the rumoured couple Raymond and Tavia both sang a duet, the classic "Modern Love Story" originally co-sang by Chi Lam, giving the crowd a memorable show. At the song's climax, Raymond held onto Tavia's hands at the request of the warm crowd, as they sang and looked into each other's eyes. Cameras of fans flashed non-stop at the scene.
Even on the stage infront of thousands of fans the rumoured couple managed to shower the crowd with their electrifying sparks. They would sure show the viewers their incomparable chemistry on tv screens!

Leading actress, Tavia Yeung, smiles winningly at the camera as she lined up for her turn for the blessings and she chattered excitedly about her new role and chemistry with co-star, Raymond Lam.
"I'm very excited for the release of this series, because I think everybody did a great job, whether it was on-screen or on the set. Despite the complicated plot full of twists and turns, I think Raymond and I managed to portray the inner struggles of our characters fairly well and hopefully, the audience will agree with me!"
When asked what was the best part about working on this series, Tavia's eyes brightened and joked, "Of course, working with Raymond!"
In response to Raymond's earlier comment about wanting to have babies with her, Tavia laughed, "I'm going to knock him silly for saying that to the media!" She didn't continue with her answer, but it was obvious from her blushing complexion that she was clearly not mad and actually appeared rather flattered.

Being speculated as the 'most anticipated' TVB anniversary series the broadcasting company has ever released since the success of
, TVB is planning to fast-forward it's launch in the new high budget series by next week in the prime time slot. This was rumoured to save the falling ratings by only reaching average of 28 points and even dropped in the grand finale. Is TVB fearing its competition ATV in their prowess of buying out popular Asian Series?
The burden of attracting viewing power remains on the astonishing lead of Raymond Lam and Tavia Yeung. Granted both are talented rising stars but do they have what it takes for a TVB comeback? However, far from feeling overshadowed by the experienced stars in the cast, including Jessica and Deric, critics have already deemed the series 'tantilizingly gripping' and 'an epic that would hit viewers like never seen before'.
On preview of the new series, East Entertainment wrote 'This has got to show TVB's intention of regaining market power! They have scripts like these stored and fed the audience with 'snacks' to increase their hunger for the 'main course'..'

also brought back Louis Koo into filming his first series since "A Step into the Past". Rumoured to have been in debt to TVB by 40 episodes on contractual terms, TVB had pulled all strings to get the super star onto the 'small screen'. Instead of feeling annoyed at being casted into a role seen as beneath Raymond Lam's, Louis was actually enthusiastic about this arrangement, saying he preferred to act as his character 'My character in this series brings back good memories... Although I would like Raymond's role as well, I would rather not be caught up in the feud...'
When questioned by TVB Newsflash whether he would reform his famous relationship with Jessica, Louis laughed 'Anything is a possibility...just watch and see for yourself!'

, upon request, took a photo with his 'youngest' female fan. But it was all smiles for Raymond when he took the baby girl in his arms. Almost instantly, the weariness of having consecutive over time disappeared.
He explains to TVB Newsflash "Kids are naturally adorable"
When questioned whether or not he wanted to become a father he replied "Yes. Probably not right now because of my work commitments but definitely in the near future"
The lady in question? Tavia Yeung? After speculations of the rumoured couple and more recently Tavia's suspciously huge bouquet of lillies on her birthday, she is deemed the likely candidate.
"Tavia?" Raymond laughed shyly "Ask her if she willing to! I'm here! All she needs to do is stay at home, I would work and bring all the money home!" and joked "actually Tavia and I were meant to have a baby in Golden Faith! It was so sad because I didn't even get to name him yet like I promised!"
Without needing to question his blush TVB Newsflash tried to get some inside information on his new series .
"You would have to watch it! The producers have given me the orders not to reveal anything until its aired. The promotion would start next week when the exclusive posters would be released."

Yesterday, actress Tavia Yeung celebrated her birthday on the set of The Charade of Deception, the upcoming anniversary TVB series in which she was cast to play her rumoured boyfriend, Raymond Lam's love interest. Tavia's hard-working spirit was paid off when she received a big bouquet of flowers from the crew inside the TVB studio just as they were getting ready to set out for the hotel in which the scenes were being filmed that day. The surprise didn't end there. The minute the cast and crew of The Charade of Deception arrived at the hotel for filming, Tavia was surprised by yet another beautiful bouquet of white lilies. Reporters on site have inquired whether the second bouquet was from the crew to which they have said no. Questions were flying as to whether these flowers came from Tavia's rumoured boyfriend, Raymond, who was absent that day due to a promotional activity for Lethal Weapons of Love and Passion.
When asked whether the flowers were from Raymond, Tavia smiled sweetly at the camera and merely replied, "he's not this romantic!"

On the same day at the promotional activity of Lethal Weapons, the center of focus was on the two male leads, Raymond and Bosco Wong, but the reporters were more interested in whether Raymond was the mysterious source of Tavia's present than the series itself. To these questions, Raymond awkwardly laughed as he was getting into his car and said, "I don't know what you're talking about. I've given her birthday present yesterday already."
