Doug Bingham Family Reunion 2009

The annual family reunion was a total blast, but my camera was a total bust. The battery died about 4 pictures in.

These are the official reunion shirts; I love how they turned out. Paxton has a tiny one but he's not wearing it in this picture. Instead, he's sporting that great facial expression.

This is Andy & Kevin launching one of the boats using the "Monster Truck". Andy was feelin' TUFF.

This is one of the crafts - bracelets. Noah even got in on it and made a "boy one".

This is the other craft we did - handmade roasting sticks for marshmallows and hot dogs. We got to custom paint our handles. Check out the zebra patterns.

We spent lots of time on the beach, in the boat and we even made it to the Rich County Fair's Demolition Derby. We loved our weekend in Bear Lake.

2 Amazing Years

Today marks our 2-year anniversary. We celebrated with a stay in Zion National Park at the Majestic View Lodge. Above is the view from our room's balcony.

We rode our bikes through Springdale and stopped at some of the little shops where we found these crazy sunglasses which give you the total paparazzi "In Touch Magazine" look.

We went out to a fancy dinner at Parallel Eighty Eight. I want that chair I'm sitting on!

The next day we hiked Weeping Rock and it was gorgeous.

It was a lovely time.

I also wanted to share our proposal story for any of you out there who haven't already heard it:

The Proposal was gorgeous.... it totally caught me off guard! Andy told me we were going to meet some of his mission friends for lunch at Liberty Park. So, we started walking up the center of the park and this complete stranger, a Chinese woman, stood up and handed me a yellow rose and said “I think this belongs to you”. I didn’t really think much until I looked and saw a tag on the rose that said “I Love You Because…”. Just then I looked at Andy and I knew something was up. Then another stranger handed me another rose. Then my friend, Febee, came walking by and handed me another rose. Each of these roses had tags attached that listed reasons why Andy loves me. Then my roommate, Emily, came running by in her running gear and handed me another flower. By this time, I was crying because I knew what was happening. Then my friends, Jamie & Adam, came riding through the park on their bicycles and handed me some roses and then some of Andy’s friends gave me some more flowers. Finally, two of my friends, Jessica and Kristina, handed me several roses each. The last flower was a white rose and it said “Will You Marry Me?” and Andy got down on his knee and pulled out the ring. I was totally crying and it was the most beautiful moment of my whole life! I was holding 24 roses with 22 reasons why Andy loves me. The whole experience was surreal and amazing. And to top it all off, the whole thing was photographed and videotaped!! It was so incredibly perfect! I loved how it made me feel and how surprised I was. Later that day we sat down and read through each of the reasons he loves me and they were each so special like “You have a plan” “You set goals & accomplish them” “You hold my hand so tight” “You are beautiful”. We cried as we read through each of them. It was such a special moment – I LOVE THIS MAN!

Breck + Brie

Breck and Brie's wedding was a few weeks ago and it was great. Because I was so into mingling and enjoying, I didn't manage to take a single photo! So, I've been waiting for Brie to get her pics from her awesome photographer, Lindsay Jane. This is one of my favorite photos because I think it really captures their cute family.
