went back work on xmas eve. it was so horrible . i was fckni working my guts out instead of enjoying a what was supposed to be "2hr" work day . cuz 10am stop le , go celebrate
so yea. horrible . rushing this rushing that . cuz im on leave , and theres so much shit to settle . and my useless 2ic went oversea.
anyway, the celebration was epic la. my fren did a "ah boys to men" rap and alot of funky stuffs . the food was nt as fantastic as last time , but this time theres lotsa pizza !!!
so yeap . according to tradition. we went to crash mi xue hse agn for xmas.
so went there , alot of funky stuff happened after their parents came back with food frm ntuc,
oven keep tripping the electric supply.
thn keep redo- retrying until 1 pt of time . 3 appliances all died .
LOLOL had to improvise , use water to boil , steam and reheat .

ok , backtrack very very long !! lol . realise i stop updating on time
its more of a update about LAST week.
last mon , met up with sl n elaine for dinner at town area .
so everywhere was freaking packed , we walked frm 1 place to another , thn decided to go to this place
at far east plaza

ok , its a halal thai food shop . but the service fckin cui !!
apparently its short-staffed that day i presume ?
it took fking long for food to come and stuffs . then they will tend to mix up ppl's order ,
thn this chubby fat gal will dash around and round to table to table cuz its WRONG haha
so the food is ... ok . BUT ABIT TOO SALTY ??
think they anyhw cook ba. (will nv come here agn )
thn bought royce otw back , cuz el has to buy xmas prez for sis , thn i was tempted . HAHA .
so this time round . i didnt buy the normal . BLUE color chocolate . i bought this BITTER version .
its nt bad !!! but it could be better if its sweeter .

so yeap , im on my "LEAVE " period alr .
finally able to SIAM away from work .
so my first period of leave was last wk ,
met up with zs , wc , solo to "celebrate" solo's bdae .
so as usual ppl being late . hahaha .
met up at katong i12, to eat MOOKATA !!
seen this place on tv b4, been wanting to try the unique manner of thai bbq.
so its like this "DOME-like " structure , whereby your supposed to smear the
pork fats on top all over the hot metal dome , to "oil" it up b4 cooking .
and we have a 2hr timing . ( tats when the charcoal dies out )
so at first i tot that the concept was really cool !!
but whn we tried it . its DISASTROUS !!
the meat keep falling off !! into the soup area !!
so the most epic thing was us holding the meat with chopsticks and talking while the meat gets cooked
so the WOW factor was really the taste of the bbq !!!
GOOD PORK !!
(apparently the beef was MEH - some were too spicy )
OH OH !! and they have this SPICY LVL of their chilli , ranging from lvl 1 - 3
the boo factor was the time needed to cook , given the SMALL area to bbq
so we were just spamming some alr cooked stuffs like chicken nugget / man tou / stuffs
so as how every buffet will turn out. we will somehow over order due to being too zealous about how much we can stomach .
so its desserts after dam long walk to digest . at awfully chocolates.

its not bad . very dark and thick . its NICE at the first few bites .
but as it goes on . its TOO THICK !! and it gets very hard to swallow.
