Happy New Year

Well, so far this blog thing is working out alright, and I think I am getting the hang of it!
Just a quick note to wish you all a very Happy New Year and all the best for 2008!
Here are a few new pics for you....we spent the day in Banff, and had a great brunch at the Banff Springs Hotel. It's been a few years since I have seen the hotel decorated for Christmas and wow they do an amazing job. After a very big lunch, we did a short hike along the shoreline of Vermillion Lakes. It was such a nice day to be outside and take in some of that winter mountain air! The kids had a blast, and slept the entire way back to Calgary. Made for a very quiet drive home!

Ok....this is it. My attempt at starting a blog. I apologize in advance to all you bloggers out there, but this is a first for me (someone who is a little ignorant to the technology world) but I thought it would be a neat way to keep you all up to date on our family happenings. Seeing how bad I am at emailing pics, I hope that this will force me to update this blog regularly with current pictures and various other ideas that I have. So...for now....enjoy, and I will get some more stuff up over the next little while. That is....once I figure out this blogging stuff. Oh...if any of you have any advice or tidbits for me on blogs, I'd love to hear from ya!
