the bailer

just some photos from our chubs weekend, which yes girls, i'm sorry i bailed on.

after thinking about it, i realized that you can really never have too much girly bonding. like, girls can never run out of things to talk about. no matter what. even worse when they're good friends or best friends. i'd never give up that freedom. ever. it's so priceless - as are good friends.

so thanks girls. =D love you lots!!

misunderstanding

does it ever bug you that people around you don't understand what you mean by certain actions or the things you say?

sometimes i get so bugged out that people who i expect to know me, they suprize me by making really suave comments about me, when it's totally not true! it really takes strength to be able to just suck it up and move on and try to not really care about what they say or how they look at you from then on. it's sorta like a hovering cloud which proliferates by the second.

on another note. the young adults camp.

it certainly made me re-think things. see, dean and ronnie were encouraging us to take a look at our paths and to determine what our destiny is. the whole idea of taking baby steps towards it was really refreshing. yet, it was kinda confusing at the same time. i guess i've always questioned what my God-given identity is. i've not really felt the certainty which other people have felt. i'm just wading my way through in a way, trying to hear it.

anyhow, the new perspective is warmly welcomed. anything to keep fresh. ;)

oh and for the first time, i really wasn't in a snapping mood. lol. so i didn't take ANY pics at all from the whole weekend. hahaha. whoooops. =p

going m.i.a.

soooooo.

work today was totally useless. carting boxes around, refiling all sorts of documents... ah, i can't wait for the new processing system to get up and running. LOL. who would've known that i was addicted to processing stuff ay?

anyway! young adults camp this weekend... should be interesting to see how it goes. haha.

i've come to the conclusion that intruiging is the road that leads to friendship - i guess this weekend will be a test of that.

work work work

haaah.

finally. back at work. phew.
my bank account can finally get fatter now. hahah. =p

work's been good. it hasn't been too stressful. but i am amazed at how fast it all happened. tuesday i got the call, wednesday i signed the contract, and thursday i started! pretty sweet huh.

ooh and i played keys for youth worship on sunday. it was absolutely fantastic! God's really done something great hey. it just came so naturally and it felt so innate standing up there, jamming with the rest of the worship team and leading the youth in praise. so awesome. hahaa. i'm really glad that i took that first step of getting involved in the music ministry. =p

let's just say, life is good right now. being on track with God and knowing my place and understanding things gives such a crystal outlook on everything.

how peachy.

oh. and p.s. i found something preeeety hilarious today at work. it was on an allonge form that passed through my desk for payment. check this out!

hahahahhaha. there's a ONE TREE HILL in south australia!! =p keke. how awesome. ;)

it's a wonder

so bumming is totally overrated. it's taken me all this time just to figure this out. and now, i know i sound totally geeked out when i say this, but i really can't wait for uni to start up! then at least i'll have something productive to do!!

meanwhile, i've just been doing... stuff. hahah. here's some snaps from the week:

thursday night: hanging out with the chubs.
we went to kingsway for dinner, the boat harbour for coffee/dessert and then nadia's house for poker. it was awesome that all of us finally got to get together after jas and i got back from holidays. =D the awesomest thing about the evening? i finally didn't get my ass whooped at poker! hahah. check this:

wahaha. =p

friday night: family dinner
after going to training during the day, dad called us and was like "oh let's go for dinner at new hyde park hotel". it was slightly random, but hey, free dinner on my parents always sounds good. hahahah. =p so yeah. we went and it turns out that they were havin a special. $12 for steak, chips and unlimited salad bar. pretty awesome. hahah. and it was a good happy snap night too =)

a photo of the three of us with my ah gong

hahaha. check out rach's eyes!!

and yes... the three of us again.

me and mum. =)

speak no evil, hear no evil, see no evil...
need we say more?

and finally... here's something else. so raph bought a new car... subaru liberty something or rather. but... it's a pretty awesome ride. hahah. i got bored halfway through the week and decided to piece this together. why motorboat you ask? well, if you came to my house, if you even sat in the furthest room from the front yard, and you hear it roar, i'm sure you'll realize the resemblence. =p

pretty sweet. =p
