4:17:00 PM I thought I could have done it better... Haha... Indeed better... But I still FAILED... I got back the same route, same demerit points but this time round, without immediate failure... Haha... Conclusion: I failed... Even before I see my result... I knew I will fail... Haha... But upon seeing my overall result, I think I did slightly better even though I made a BIG MISTAKE... I'm bad at checking blind spot... And I know I'M VERY BAD AT IT... Though my tester failed me... I'm thankful and grateful... I was lucky that he saw the car approaching our car, if not I will get him into an accident... Feel sorry for him... I donno if I should continue to learn from him or I should start all over again by getting a new instructor and learn at a different place... Or maybe I should just stop here... I think I'm not 'talented' enough to be a good driver... Only if I have the courage to take up the challenge again in 2 month's time, I must work hard on my weak points... I must adapt the habit of looking into the mirror constantly and checking of blind spot whenever needed... I'm in a dilemma... I need to discuss with someone... I need someone to give me advice... Went out for dinner with my office clique on Friday... Had KuishinBo... Mmm... Unable to reserve any seats cos those available for reservation de fully reserved liao... Thought we will not be able to get any seats so we rushed over immediately after work... Who knows... Haha... Overall their food quite nice lahx... Mmm... Chat a lot during dinner... By the time we left, most shops are closed liao... Haha... Went Carrefour walked walk plus digest... Huimin, Yvonne and I spent most of our time figuring the notes and key for a particular melody... Haha... All thanks to Huimin, we managed to get the first part of the melody... (Think Colleen and Bernice a bit bored cos we were busy entertaining ourselves... We didn't really walked around with them...) On our way to City Hall MRT Station, saw my Primary School tuition friend, Elaine... Haha... Was telling Huimin and Yvonne that I saw my friend but they don't believe me... Anyway, Elaine managed to spot me when I stared at her... On Saturday... Had revision class at Singapore Management House... It's a bit far from my place as compared to SIM main building... Was slightly late though I took cab from Bukit Timah... Haha... By the way, I think my revision class's foreign lecturer looks COOL... Haha... She has a very cool and stylish hairstyle which suits her... Other than her Greek accent, I think she taught quite well... Haha... After lesson, went town to meet RP clique... Haha... Reached at 5 when we were suppose to meet at 6 around town area... Shop around for my stuffs before meeting them... Haha... Bought a watch for Irene... Regretted for not buying the other watch for her... ARGHH!!! Had a great time with them... Meet up soon... Haha... **DADA don sad sad liao horx... Cheer up... Smile... Here comes my Sunday... Had driving in the morning... Went Tampines to meet Yvonne... Went bai bai with her... Then went Bugis to shop... Monday, March 23, 2009 9:35:00 PM Have been stalking my cousin's blog for quite some time... Find her blog childish... She uses her blog to scold people and now I think she's in trouble... The messages on her tagboard are so childish... OMG... I couldn't believe that Secondary School kids are so childish and dumb to quarrel over net... Haha... Any form of comments on one's blog can really hurt the other person... I think my cousin never think before she create and post it for others to see... On the surface, she looks perfectly ok... Just like other Secondary School girls... But deep inside she has changed into another person... I've yet to see her in the other self... I doubt she'll show the real side of her... If I were to see it with my own eyes, I will definitely scold her... Full of vulgarities... Full of 'sign languages'... I don't want her to regret in future... She's hiding many things from us... I got to know some of them cos I read her blog... I couldn't imagine the girl whom I've known for almost 16 years became so bad... Haiz... Donno how can I help her... Saturday, March 21, 2009 10:03:00 PM Had a fruitful driving lesson... Haha... Manage to see double rainbow during driving lesson in the circuit... Haha... The primary rainbow was a little invisible... Could barely see it the arc... The secondary rainbow was much more bigger, thicker and nicer as compared to the primary one... The secondary one has a more complete arc rainbow... From my angle, it's from one end to another end... Lucky to stop my car in the middle of the arc... Haha... Luckily the car was facing that direction if not I think my instructor wouldn't get to see that rainbow and he wouldn't tell me about the beautiful rainbow liao... One of the wonders in my life... Haha... Only if I'm not driving then I could take a picture of that double rainbow scene... My instructor told me that normally people make wishes when they see rainbow... Haha... I was wondering why is the sky brighter inside a rainbow... Haha... Q. Why is it darker outside a rainbow than inside? A. The angle of the primary rainbow is determined by the maximum angle light which has passed through raindrops can be scattered away from the anti solar point. For the primary rainbow light is scattered at all angles closer to the anti solar, which means inside the rainbow. Thus the brighter area is light scattered by raindrops in which the light has reflected once inside the raindrop. The secondary rainbow is caused by light which has reflected twice inside raindrops and is the minimum angle towards the anti solar point which this light can be scattered. Thus the light area outside the secondary rainbow is light scattered after reflecting twice inside raindrops. Light which has passed through raindrops will not be scattered into the area between the primary and seconded rainbows, and this darker region is known as Alexanders Dark Band. In this region the light is either background light or light which has reflected off the surface of raindrops. Q. Why is there sometimes two rainbows? A. A secondary rainbow is produced by light which has reflected twice inside raindrops. The secondary rainbow occurs on an arc 51 degrees around the shadow of your head (the anti solar point). Q. Why is the order of colors reverse in a secondary rainbow? A. A secondary rainbow is produced by light which has reflected twice inside raindrops. The angle is the minimum angle (note not maximum as in the primary) away from the anti solar point in which this light can be scattered. It happens that the minimum angle for red is less than for blue, the opposite, of the primary and the order is reverse. Another way of looking at it is that the second reflection inside the water drop reverse the order of the light like looking at writing in a mirror makes it look backwards. Thursday, March 19, 2009 10:54:00 PM HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOON HIN!!! Went out with Hoon Hin, Xiao Xuan, Guo Xiang, Chew Siang and Wan Boon... Celebrated Hoon Hin's 22nd Birthday... Took PM leave yesterday... So able to meet Hoon Hin and Xiao Xuan earlier at Jurong Point... Haha... Bought Hoon Hin present with her presence... Haha... The star series necklace and earrings... Then went over to Causeway Point to meet Chew Siang and Guo Xiang... Boon came a bit later... Took photos before Xiao Xuan left... We had a great dinner... Disturbed Hoon Hin and Boon throughout the whole dinner... They must have regretted sitting beside me... Haha... After dinner, went walk walk around the mall... Spent most of our time in G2000 Blu... We bought a blouse for Guo Xiang... Hopefully she likes it... And reminder to Guo Xiang, please wear the necklace I bought for you horx... On our way home, bought Hoon Hin a cake... Haha... Seems like he has gone out after booking out from his camp... Once again, I did not know what to say... Lost of words when it comes to consoling people I told her that I'm bad at consoling people when it comes to relationship... She said it was ok... She just need someone to be there for her... I really hope that I could do something but I did nothing... Feel sad for her... But I couldn't do anything for her... Luckily his mum came home and manage to get her to their place... Maybe we shouldn't have gone for that telling session... Feeling a bit worried too... Haiz... Year after year, there bound to be someone in my life who gets hurt deeply in their relationship... I'm not experience enough to console these friends... I'm just too timid to comment on anything... I'm afraid that I might mess up everything and make things worst... All I can do is to see them cry and lend them my ears... I think she was right to say that for the past few years I've been admiring this person... And it really happen when I was at that age... Haha... Almost forgotten that it happened during that period of my life... And it's true that I never have the courage to confess... Haha... That's something I will never do cos I've got no confidence and faith in myself... Haha... And in my 22 years life, I never believe that I can make it for something... VERY JIALAT...
