Parent's Prayer- Mary Loveridge Robbins

We recently took a baptism class for Sadie and we were given this prayer. It is wonderful and I hope you enjoy it.

They are little only once LORD. Grant me the wisdom and patience to teach them to following in your footsteps and prepare them for what is to come.

They are little only once LORD. Make me take the time to play pretend, to read or tell a story; to cuddle. Don't let me for one minute think anything is more important than the school play, the recital, the big game, fishing or a quiet walk hand in hand. All too soon LORD they will grow away and there is no turning back. Let me have my memories with no regrets.

Please help me be a good parent, LORD. When I must discipline---let me do it in love, let it be firm , but fair; let me correct and explain with patience.

They are growing away LORD. While I have the chance let me do my best for them. For the rest of our lives, please LORD, let me be their very best friend.

First day of School!

Here are our school supplies.
We got to walk with our good friend Joshua to school.
We are ready to go! Hurry up we don't want to be late the first day!
I need my backpack too. I so wish I was a first grader.
I am ready to rock First Grade! Ms. Giebel her I come.

Gymnastics

Ava took Gymnastics this summer and enjoyed it very much. I thought she would of loved the trampoline the best but she enjoyed hanging on the bars and the game they played at the end of class. She got a ribbon and now thinks she is Mary Lou. If you know Ava you know she's no Mary Lou, the girl can fall off anything. She is seriously the clumsiest person I know and gymnastics didn't help that. We love her clumsiness anyway.

Lazy Summer Day!

We went to our park one night after dinner because we actually had some nice weather and it wasn't too hot.

Hayden was loving hanging out enjoying the nice weather. Of course so did Ava.

Sadie enjoyed her time on the slide.

What a fun time had by all!

Bedtime

Its Bedtime! They really couldn't understand why they could not go to bed on the bookshelves.
I love their little minds.

Look how cute we are!

We love our dresses Grandma and PawPaw!

The kids trip to Camp Tupperlake!

This summer the kids were able to go spend a week with their Grandma and PawPaw. My kids got to do a lot this summer since I was off work but I think this was one thing they were so excited about. They could not wait to go and kept asking when was Camp Tupperlake. When the day finally arrived we drove 1/2 way to Centerville to meet Grandma and PawPaw and had a special guest visitor, Grandpa. Grandma and PawPaw had tons of stuff planned. They went to the library, movies, James Coney (gotta get a hot dog), Children's Museum. Ava had a girls day with Grandma and Hayden got to go to PawPaw work which has the coolest gameroom ever. The kids were so good and had so much fun. We are so lucky that they were able to spend some time with their grandparents. Hayden and Ava can't wait to go to Camp Tupperlake next summer.
