Angelic Advent Calendar - FFFC #225 'Anything Goes'

Hello.

We've got another new challenge today at the Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge blog.  For the next fortnight, the theme is 'Anything Goes.'  So it's easy peasy...everybody's favorite!  Check out the details at the challenge blog and also what my teammates have created to inspire you to play along with us.

As for me, this is what I've created...an Advent Calendar.

There are 25 stars there, each numbered from 1 to 25 for the days in December leading to Christmas.

and each star can be flipped over to the back of the card.

I'm using sort of a side-step card as the base for the advent calendar.

I don't have a large-star die (sigh), so the big stars were all cut out by hand...ugh.
I did that with the clouds as well.  For the templates, I searched the internet for cliparts of cloud images and enlarge them.

A closer look at the rubber-stamped images being featured.

This cute little angel is called 'Dancing with Stars Tilda.'

And this one is called 'Little Tilda.'
Both these images are from the 'A Little Christmas Collection 2012' from Magnolia Stamps.  I've done the colouring with alcohol-ink markers and coloured pencils.

Okay, that's it for me for now.  Much appreciate you dropping by.  Enjoy your day and have a wonderful weekend!

Christmas 3-Tier Gift Box - FFFC #219 'Anything Goes'

For my project for this challenge, I've created this 3-tier gift box.

The box opens up to reveal 3 secret trays inside...

...which I've filled up with Ferrero treats.  Yum.

If you're interested in trying your hand at making this gift box, you can find the tutorial HERE.

Celebrate Summer! - Magnolia-licious Summer Blog Hop

Hello.

Today, we're kicking off our Summer Blog Hop at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog.

If you're already taking part in the Blog Hop and have arrived here from Jane's blog, then you're right on track.  If you didn't come from her blog then you just may want to start at the beginning, HERE.

On to my project...here's what I've created, a card and gift-basket set.

The first part is the card itself, which you can see is an easel card.

As for the gift basket, I saw a picture of a basket of strawberries on Pinterest which I thought was just the cutest.  A search on the internet led me to this site HERE.  I didn't follow the measurements given in the tutorial, but adjusted them to suit my project.

I made the paper strawberries first (just google for the template if you're interested).  Each of the paper strawberry is actually a surprise package because I've filled each of them with a Lindt Lindor dark-chocolate ball...yum.

I created the basket just deep enough to hold four or five strawberries in it, so it's smaller/shallower than the one in the tutorial.

A closer look at the Magnolia Stamps images I've used for this project.

Gift Bags and Tags - Magnolia-licious July Mini Magnolias

Hello.

Happy Wednesday!  It's the day of the week that the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog dedicates to the 'Wednesday Mini Magnolia Challenge' where the design team showcases the Mini Magnolia Stamps images, along with a few Stamping Bella images thrown in every now and then.  It's my turn to participate in this week's Wednesday posting.

I've created these gift bags along with the gift tags to showcase the Mini Magnolia Stamps images.  The size of the Mini Tildas is just perfect for gift tags.

These aren't really proper bags.  For each bag, I've actually just made a little white box and wrapped a piece of coloured cardstock around it.  Then I decorated the bags with punched paper laces, ribbons, flowers and diecut leaves.

I've filled each box with mini Lindt dark chocolate squares...yum.

Seed Box - Magnolia-licious Spring Blog Hop

Hello.

Today, we're kicking off our Spring Blog Hop at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog.

If you're already taking part in the Blog Hop and have arrived here from Suzi's blog, then you're right on track.  If you didn't come from her blog then you just may want to start at the beginning, HERE.

My project for this Blog Hop is a Seed Box.  I love gardening and I've created this box to store my seeds.

For this gardening scene, I cut out each of the Tilda images.

The inside of the box is divided into 3 compartments:  the 2 larger ones for seeds and the smaller one for seed stakes (they're actually large popsicle sticks).

I've made three index cards to separate the seeds into 3 seed-type groups:  vegetables, herbs and flowers.
