March 2013 photo challenge

I have decided to try to get my big girl camera out more...to do so I'll be doing this photo challege.

Day 7:

day 3 and 4

Day 3: We had windows installed throughout our home, Riley and I had lots of quality snuggle time moving from room to room as they finished (we snuggled because it was fairly cold yesterday and our doors and windows stayed open all day long). We ended up in our master bedroom and watched some Dora. Riley had been a such trooper for a large part of the day but by 5:30 we were both ready for some down time.


Day 4: I snapped this last minute. Our new windows. I am so amazed at how wonderful they are and even though I new our original to the home 1950's windows were old, none functioning and ugly, I didn't realize just how inefficient they were. You mean you're not supposed to feel a cold draft 10inches away from the window?? :)
 

365 again?

Sort of.  My goal is to take a picture everyday. Last year when I tried this I became bogged down.  Not with the photo taking part, but the blogging everyday part.  So this year I am aiming to take one photo everyday and then just blog it whenever I can.

No pressure...if things start to get a little crazy in our house (with a new baby coming soon and all) this will be the first thing to go!

Oh and the reason I'm doing this...I want to capture everyday life, because this is a hobby and I love it, and I want to improve my photography skills.

Potty training!  I majorly cropped the original photo, I want to prevent any embarrasment for my girl like 15 years down the road.

Riley has been noticing my toe nail polish lately. So when I asked if she wanted hers painted like Mommy's she got very excited. The idea was great, the execution not good. A squiggly toddler and a mom with poor polish skills=bad job but its still super cute. Even if she did scruch up her freshly painted, still wet toes on my white bath rug. :)
