It's 2018.....

I haven't really been able to get on here for a while. Most of my pictures that I have taken are on instagram and I get Chatbooks done. Life has changed so much. We still only have 4 kids!!! Jake and I still go back and forth if we should of had another kiddo but then the kids start fighting and we are like "nahhhhh."

Jake is now working with Hotline Construction as a District manager. He is stressed at times from the amount of work that he has to do but he really loves the company. I like him on the ground instead of climbing a poll. The kids and I tease him and tell him that he is Jake from Statefarm, I know deep down he appreciates that. Jake has been able to coach baby jakes soccer teams and has weekends to spend with his family.

I am currently working at Henry Mayo Memorial Hospital here in SCV. I love it! Prior to this hospital I was at Palmdale Regional and it was a stepping stone that I wish to never go back to. I work in the MS1 unit, which is the stroke floor. They do float me at times to units like DOU and EDIP. I have anxiety at times when I go into work due to the last hospital and how I was treated there but Im getting better with separating that place with my new employer. Currently I work per diem and
I am looking to go for my bachelors degree. on a side note, I practically live in my car due to all the sports the kids are in. 4 kids = 4 practices.

Jessica is now 14!!!!! What is the world, she didn't get the memo that she should stop growing up. She is going to be going to high school this year. She still plays soccer for AYSO and this will be her last year playing. She is going to try out for the Canyon soccer team, fingers crossed she makes it. She stopped doing band this year because she was not happy with the teachers and some kids in her class. So we call her the band drop out kid. hahaha Jake said he is still going to practice with her so she doesn't forget. I have to say that she has grown into an amazing young lady and tries very hard to get good grades. She just got an award at school for her grades being so good. She has expressed to me that she wants to be an RN so we are working on finding out what she can do while in high school to get some classes done. She is now finishing up with her tournament team for soccer, we have one more weekend to go.

Kaelyn is now 12!!!! She is still such an easy going kid. She is able to go to girls camp this year with Jessica and is super excited. She is still playing soccer and is finishing up with her tournament team, she has a pretty great coach (coach House). She is goalie for the team and loves it, crazy girl! She is going to be going into 7th grade this year and I know she will do great. Her teacher says she is a hard worker and loves having her in class. Kaelyn  has also said she wants to become an RN too. Hopefully she goes for that career, she would be great.

Natalia is now 10!!!! This ball of fire is feisty as they get. She is one smart cookie and doesn't take "No" very well. She starts soccer again in September. She did try Hockey this year and loved it.  She is very good in school and has been getting good grades. She has a feisty side to her but I love that about her, she takes no crap.

Baby Jake, yes, I said Baby Jake and I will continue to forever call him that no matter what people say. He is a character, very outgoing and goofy. He is all boy and gets into everything. I recently found him in the rafters, he climbed up a ladder that was unstable and was trying to get boogie boards. He is now 7 years old and going into 2nd grade. On the first day of kindergarten I cried when I dropped him off, he is my little side kick.

Well that is all for now, I will start posting again because I really enjoyed doing this and it gave me a sense of peace.

Soccer 2016

Here we go again, soccer is back in our lives again but now with four of them playing. WHAT WAS I THINKING!? I swear, if my kids say that Jake and I don't do anything for them Im going to sell them on Craigs list! The nice thing is that Jake is baby Jakes coach and that all of their practices are on Tuesdays and Thursdays. So from 4-9pm we are at soccer. The kids are loving it, Jess has her good friend Rylee on the team, Kaelyn and Talia have friends on their team too and baby Jake has his dad.
Its really fun watching them play. The youngest is a little speed demon and is all into it. He even tries to practice with the girls teams, he will even wear a pink jersey. Anything to play!

Ventura Fair

Every year I look forward every year to the Ventura County fair. I love that its by the beach, that its not ghetto, that they have great country music and did I mention that it's by the beach. The Andersons met us down there and I think we tried every fried food there was. The kids got to ride on as many rides and as many times as they wanted to. The wrist bands are worth every penny!!!!

First day of school

I got this picture from Jessica's friends. There are a lot of members from our ward that go to school with her and they all found each other and took this picture.
Daddy was able to give the kids blessing before their first day of school.
So now I have a 7th grader, 5th grader, 3rd grader and a Kindergartener. How time is going so fast I will never know. The kids are getting older and I'm not a fan of the idea. Jessica was surprisingly not as scared at I thought she would be. Her friend Sierra was able to go to school with her on her first day which was probably the winning factor in the calmness Jess had that day. Although, Jess did ask if I would walk her to class. All of me wanted to but I knew I shouldn't do it. The following week the three stooges started. They all were excited and of course had no worry about going. EVEN my youngest!!!!
This little turd tells me as we are pulling up to the school "Mama, just drop me off at the yellow box. I will walk to class by myself." WHAT IN THE HELL KID! He was the one I was banking on crying and not wanting to go to school and leave me. I had it all planned, we would hung and I was going to tell him that I will be waiting for him outside his class when school got out and not to worry. Oh, of course all my kids were fine with their first day. ANNNNND of course I was the one freaking crying my eyes out. Jake was laughing at me calling me a baby, thanks loving husband!!!!
Anyways, the kids had a great first day, I was bored to death but went to lunch with my friends.
