Blog Vacation
I am on a blog vacation! I am not even going to post pictures of Christmas. We had Christmas with each of our families and now we are just trying to get back to "normal". Last night was the first night we have stayed at our house since two days before Christmas! The house is a mess with Christmas gifts, Christmas decorations, and dirt!!! I have a lot of work to do around here!!!!!
I hope to blog once school starts back up. Until then...we will be spending time with my sister, my parents, and Frank's whole family. We will also be going to a few parties, dinners, and hanging out with friends.
Talk to you guys soon!

SNOW in Houston????
OK, so you can't see the snow that good in the pictures but it is really there if you look really hard. The kids had so much fun running around in it. Madilyn was so excited and Brennan was just cold. Our sweet little neighbor kids even came down after school to play with them outside. Nothing stuck to the ground but the sight of snow in Houston is about once in ten years! It even snowed again later in the evening.

Small Group
Last night was our annual small group Christmas party. This year we all went to Perry's. It was so much fun having us all together! The girls did an ornament exchange and the boys did their white elephant gift. The boys always find some really "nice" things to bring.

School Program
Thursday was Madilyn's school Thanksgiving program. They sang a few songs and we got to eat lunch with her. A few days before that, they had a festival where they had face painting, cookie decorating, a petting zoo, and a pumpkin patch. Here are a few pictures of her fun days at school.

A Cold Snap
Our first real cold snap came this weekend. The kids had so much fun in their "cold clothes". The cold weather also got us into the Christmas spirit! We put our Christmas lights on our house and made Christmas cookies the night we put our Christmas tree up. Yes, I said our Christmas tree. I know it is not even Thanksgiving yet but I really want to enjoy our decorations this year more than 4 weeks.
