I've just gone insane recently. Doing things that I never thought I would do. Well, another spending spree for me these few months. Planning to spend another few hundreds soon after i get my pay.
There are too many things that I want to get, too many things that I want to try. So yup, for once, pamper myself with my pay. Also as a birthday gift for myself bah.
Wanted to get a camera for my parents since they have been going overseas quite frequently now, but they say wait till next time then get. So I think i shall give this COMEX show a miss. Really good offers there for cameras though.
Then, still owe my friends a bet. I think I'm gonna spend quite a lot for that also. Nevermind bah, treat it as a reason to organise a gathering for us. That was my initial plan anyway. Then, of course, having gotten my driving license, I would love to drive! Most likely going to rent a car if I am able to get any. You all may think I am crazy. but this is a 'once in a lifetime' kind of experience! You don't get the same feeling again. You won't feel the same mayb 5 years later!
So yup, I will be very tight on cash now. So don't complain when I suggest to go hawker instead of fastfood =D I can be describe as "Penny wise, Pound foolish". but I dun care! =P

This week was filled with ups and downs..a few events happened..
Okay, I am the bunk IC and i take charge of my bunk key. And so on tuesday after we come back from our driving lessons, I realise that i lost the bunk key! Dam! It is a government property and we need to pay $60 for the key to be replaced. I was so worried that I cant do anything else. No mood to talk or eat. Could I have dropped the key in the car, at the driving centre, or outside while we were slacking?? How am I going to answer for it?!
We climbed in through the windows that night, yes, breaking in. And I called the coy commander next day morning. Got scolded by him for breaking in and he said that he could charge me. Then he say we will arrange for replacement the next day. I was dam worried the whole day. Then on wednesday, went back to cdc for driving. First thing I do was to check my car. and NO! I did not get the same car as tuesday! But luckily, i saw my previous instructor and i told him about it. He then pass me the key and i walked to the car with high hopes, and luckily, i found it under the seat of the car. oh man! I almost jumped into joy and shouted "YES!". Called coy commander immediately then. Dam heng ahhh!
Okay, next. I passed my TP! Will be getting my driving license soon! But well, i got no car to drive anyway. Got 8 points for being too courtesy. zzz. Stupid lorry that blocked my way at a bend. I choose not to overtake the lorry because he was moving off already. Then another lorry overtook me. So I got 2 points for "fail to overtake when necessary", 2 points for "unnecessary stopping" and 2 points for "fail to check mirror" because of the lorry overtook me. -.-" And extra 2 points for failing to signal intention of using the parking lot while i was waiting for the car to come out of the lot. But anyway, I passed!! Bought myself a P-plate as a gift =D
This is not the first video. Search on youtube will reveal many similar videos, even documentaries. You and I will always see all these people on the crowded streets of Singapore. We know. But what about the top management?
Everytime i see all these people, i have this weird feeling. The feeling of depressed, down, sad and pitiful. I would wonder what have I been doing. But I know, I can only be a little help to them. I sincerely hope that they can have proper meals everyday.
I know, i know all these. But please don't scold me for spending so much on whatever stuffs! =X Because my wishlist just grew again. =\
Got some 'lecture'/'brainwash' by my father again. Saying that I come out of electrical engineering must go work as electrical consultant, then get PE. With PE (cert from professional engineers board), I can make lots of money and only then can I become my own boss. Then he continued to tell me that I need to become my own boss or else I will be working for others till I die. Then become unsuccessful he meant.
Then I argued that I may not need to be an electrical consultant to become my own boss. Then he raised his voice and say ONLY being consultant can start own business. And saying that I MUST get PE. He keep emphasizing the importance of PE. Saying with PE, I just need to sign papers and get money. I was like "this will never happen". I asked the prof. at the universities before. They say PE is not important, I shldn't be thinking about it. They say I should apply for PE only if my company needs it. In my mind, I have lots of thoughts to rebut my father, but i know i will never succeed because he would raise his voice and say "if you don't listen, you will sure fail in life". haiz.. what to do? tahan lo..
This coming thursday will be my TP test for my class 3 license already. Fast right? I'm quite afraid that I will fail. I have been driving over-confidently and during evaluation, I got quite a number of 'immediate failure' mistakes. Just hope everything goes smoothly this thursday.
Anyway, we got caught by some NSPI and NSI during 1 of the nights when we came back from our driving lessons at 11pm. Caught for not marching, we walked in instead. They just got nothing better to do, made us run back and then march. Making lots of noise throughout the march. Awaking all the others who already lights out. All of us were very tired already, lack of sleep throughout. Can't they just close one eye and let us go?! Why need to waste time and wayang infront of each other? No respect for NSPIs. Act big only, just because the are some lucky bastards.

I'm back! Finally ended this draggy week. It seems very long because we attended lessons all day. Wake up 5.45am and sleep after 12midnight. This is because our driving lessons have started.
Driving lessons are conducted at CDC and I became a student there again. Started my revision lessons on the very first session. While the others learn how to start the car moving =) Anyway, our 3 hour lesson starts at night and ends around 10.20pm. By the time we reach back our camp, it is almost 11.30pm already. Imagine how tired we are. Somemore most of us fill up our stomach with cup noodles before we sleep. That's why we became so shagged for the whole week. (And also late for assembly =\
Well, driving lessons should be a breeze for me since I already completed my course previously, but...
Day 1: Excited to drive again, drove out of the centre and everything was fine. Still have some jerky motion thou. Day 2: laojiao already, drive smoother and mastered some techniques in driving. Day 3: Super Pro liao, drive like some reckless driver. Everything is in control. Drive fast but managed slow down fast at turns. Instructor complains about my speed. Day 4: Kena some instructor that is out to find fault, kan me indirectly and I got dam sian. Boring instructor that do not trust my driving and I also don't trust what he taught. But nehmind, just follow. Day 5 (Today) : One strict instructor that was also out to find my faults since I supposed to be super experienced already. Tricked me quite a few times but he is good in his teaching. Explained well. I just couldn't drive well today, the feel is not there. My faults were all spotted and corrected. Evaluation test, 18 demerit points. Could be more and I will fail. Very disappointed with myself, appalled by my perfomance today.
Nevermind, learnt from my mistakes and i will be zai next lesson onwards. And of course, aim for 0 demerits for my test. CHIONG AHHH!
ohya, today is 080808 (dun see the date of post, it's midnight i noe..).. I lost my bet *as expected*. BUT WAIT! i tot it should be 20/08/2008?! Ahh, doesn't matter. It won't make any difference thou. Anyway, no fullerton lah hor, i'm not some rich kid but at least will have something else lah. =]
Why!! Was browsing through a few blogs just now and I realise that someone is doing things that I want to do! And that is ZIYEE! She is leading a life that i wanted. She got a class 3 earlier than me, going around exploring for nice foods with friends, then went taiwan and leading laid back life. OMG! Unfair lah!!
Okay nehmind, let me blog about last Sunday's event.
I went to the K1 Grand Finale @ F1 pit building that day after calling up 2 friends early in the morning and dragging them along =X . I'm not quite sure what exactly was the event about but all I know is that I will get to see amazing cars and will satisfy my eyes. Or maybe even physically O.O
Went there straight away and it was the first time I visited the Singapore Flyer's area. It looks like a nice place and I'm sure it will be nice after the IR is up. Reached there and I was greeted by one F1 race car and TP's WRX! Walked around and saw people conducting drifting lessons, tamiya car race and go kart racing. But the main thing was the cars display! It was an interior design competition where the owners will dress up their car's interior. I'm sure most of you will be shocked to see that kind of design in a vehicle. (unless you always read HOTstuff Magazine) See the pictures below.
The interior is fantastic but the cars were not VERY amazing. Because I don't see many lamboghinis and ferraris. =\

My Dream Car currently. Audi R8. It appeared in the movie Iron Man. They tried to duplicate it but somehow it failed. Wrong colour! Anyway, notice the cute girl in the background? She offered us free redbull drinks. We were quite stunned at the beginning. BUT before we leave the place, we left some memories... haha
