What missionaries do in their spare time

I found these videos from a camara card that Daniel sent me awhile ago. I didn't know there was video on the card, just found them today. I thought I would share them with everyone.

Elder Fowlks was transferred

Top picture is his baptism that happened on the 5th of April, a week before he was transferred. This picture is of his new comp. Elder Mensaw from Ghana. He is excited about the transfer and they have another baptism on the April 26th that Elder Mensaw and his previous comp. had set up. He is on a bike now after leaving a brand new 2008 Mazda 3 that he only had for about two weeks. Oh well think of the muscle he will gain. Elder Fowlks is doing great and on the 25th of April he will hit his HUMP DAY, can't believe a year has gone by already. I know this second year wil speed by even faster.

A Day at the Park

We went to a new park that is in Desert Hills area. It is a way nice park, we met Laruen, Chris and Nelyana there. They didn't have the water going yesterday because it was alittle cool for the water. You can see Logan (center left pic) found a mountain to climb and he got up to high and wouln't come down so Brittany had to go help him down. You can see the top left pic has the playground equipment very smart to put awnings up over the equipment due to it getting 100 plus in the summer time I think that will help with keeping it cooler. We had a nice visit. We will have to do it again soon.

More Desert Flowers

Going into St. George along the Freeway you see the Indian Paint Brush and the purple ones, it is nice to see the desert flowers again. We are loving our Spring.

Flowers again in the desert!!!!!

OK, so this is not like the beautiful spring flowers that Danette posted from TX, but we have not seen the sagebrush in bloom like this for years because of the drought. I was way excited to see this much. We even have the pretty orange Indian paint brush and the purple flowers along the freeway. If I can get a good picture of them I will post them later. I am just glad that the drought is on its way out.

OUCH!!!!!!!!!

Dad was involved in a three car accident this afternoon. This is nothing you should have seen the other cars. They had to be carryied of the scene of the accident. Thank goodness for big trucks. His was the third one hit and it accually just grazed his truck, he found his license plate all crumpled in the lady's car that hit him. We are glad everyone is ok the lady received a small cut on her arm. She was in her 70's and the other guy she hit was in his 80's. All is well just need to get a minor bumper adjustment.

Easter pictures better late than never I always say.

So it has been about a month since I last updated my blog, Danette was needing some more pics. So our last big event was Easter we had a great time but we were missing the Mclane family from our pictures and of course our Elder. It is alway great to get together as much as we can when there is so much distence between us. We do make the best of it. The kids had fun coloring eggs and then finding the eggs with all the goodies in them. Yes they were a little on the hyper side. (sugarrrrr!!!!!!) That is why we have good weather, we can let them be hyper out doors. I love ya'll
