My Photography!

So for those of you that know My sister-in-law Jessica and me, you know that we both want to go into photography!
Our ultimate dream is to live very close and own a photography business together! That way we both only work 3 days a week and still get to be stay at home mommies!
Jessica has already started a portfolio, but I haven't been able to get a good photography camera.
So I have taken some of the pictures that were taken with my little camera and tried out some editing!
Tell me what you think! I am still learning!

My Xander is 3!

I cannot believe that Alexander is 3! It just seems like he was my little bitty baby yesterday!
When he woke up he wanted Mickey Mouse pancakes!

So his awesome daddy made his pancakes for our whole little family!

Alexander and Skyler were eating them almost as quickly as they came of of the pan! =)

While we were eating breakfast Nana Pauline called and talked to Xander!
She even sang him happy birthday, which he LOVED!

Derek and Xander showing off their awesome pancakes.

That afternoon we went to the Dickerson Park Zoo. Xander loves the zoo.
Spenser and Janie, Spenser's mom, came to the Zoo with us.
Spenser was an Elder that served in Branson.
He came back for a visit and Xander just loves him!

Xander, Spenser and Spenser's cousin Atrayu, feeding the fish.

It had been rainig pretty much all day! So we kept getting wet, but we had so much fun.
Daddy and Xander at the Elephants.

Xander and "Penser" that's what he calls him.

Alexander wanted a picture with the tiger. Every time that we go to the Zoo the Tiger is hiding in the tall grass! So this was a moment for Xander. =)

Me and my boys. I love this hickers pack for Skyler! THANK YOU Smith family!

Skyler watching the Giraffe.

What a cute little poser.

Later that evening we had a birthday party! We were supposed to BBQ outside but it was still raining, so we moved the party into the front room!
We had Hot Dogs and Hamburgers and everyone brought something to share!
Then it was present time! =) YAY!

What do you get when you ahve a bunch of 1-3 year olds and a bunch of presents?
One kid is happy and the rest are crying and mad, because they want to open the presents too! =)

Xander got a Backyardigans puzzle and a book from "Unle Charno and Aunt Ashee"

Xander got playing cards from Nathan and Knowlton Ferguson!
He loves the Go Fish game!

Skyler absolutely loves Xanders YoYo & Hoops card that Pappa & Gigi gave Xander!
He opens it up and dances to it!

Xander got a baseball and mit from Pappa & Gigi!
He always wants to play catch!

As everyone sang Happy Birthday, Xander started to sing along. But as soon as the cake and candle came into view... He Blew it out!
We were all laughing so hard we could hardly finish the song!

What's worse? Poop or puke?

Silly title I know, but after 2 days of "pooking" as Xander puts it, I am up to my eyeballs in stress! Last week Xander had the flu. He had very high fevers and was throwing up everything he had to eat and drink. He was better by Friday and then as soon as we got home on Sunday from church the first thing he did was throw up on me! Joy! He hasn't had a fever but he has had very bad diahrea. He gets so upset because he hates to have accidents and he can't control it at all.

So last night Skyler ends up in bed with us, again. At about 3am I feel him roll al over me and all of a sudden I am wet. He then sticks his little butt in my face and I realize that the wet is not pee. What a wake up call! So of coarse I change him and the sheets. It took me forever to get back to sleep but I finally did.

Next thing I know Alexander is calling for me, I open my eyes and he is standing next to me whimpering. He messed in his pull-up. It's 8:30am by now, so I get up and take him to the bathroom so I can clean him up and give him a bath! He starts screaming that his tummy hurts and throws himself on me! This is seriously not my day for poop! He had completely filled his Pull-up which caved under the pressure and now ended up all over me and my pajamas. So of coarse I start dry heaving! So where is Derek? Standing there with this look on his face like, "I am so glad that wasn't me", and of coarse he was just leaving for work!

So now bathtime is over, we are all in comfy clothes because I can just forsee my day on the couch holding crabby and sick children. Xander tell sme he is hungry but then his tummy starts to hurt again. I don't think I ever got to the bathroom faster, even when I had to pee as a 9 month prego! =) As he is throwing up the water he just drank he blows through his pants! I have about had it with poop by now! After that I was thrown up on two times and all before 10:30 am. LOL I was a mess and of coarse did not get ready for the day after that. What's the point? I am just gonna get puked or pooped on.

So I repeat what is worse? I would have to say the poop! For some reason, no matter how hard you scrub, you can still smell it later.
So I am done complaining now =) Just thought I would let all the moms out there know that sick days ROCK!

Okay so I definitely stink at keeping up on this!

So my Camera broke last month and we haven't got a new one yet! Sorry!
I feel like if I don't have pictures it's a little more boring to read my blog, but I will write anyway!

Well it's school time again which means that Derek is gone most of the time! He has school Monday through Friday and stays at the school to study (because it's quiet there) and then works some evenings. He is enjoying school a lot and seems to be doing a great job!
He is so excited to be going into Physics!

I am home, all the time now. So I have been trying to keep up with Alexandre and Skyler. When I get a breather I like to craft. Lately it's been crocheting washcloths and making Cards. I am loving my calling as YW 2nd Counselor and I have some of the neatest beehives ever!
This last week I was in charge of Mutual and I had to come up with an activity! I was so stressed out, it was supposed to have something to do with the For the Strength of Youth pamphlet. So I finally settled on Dating, and I made a life size, Game of LIFE game. It was centered around dating and the end was eternal Marriage. It was a lot of fun! Well at least I had fun!

Alexander is Potty Training! It's very hard to potty train a boy. I wish Derek was home and could take care of this, I am not gonna lie, I have no patience! Xander is doing very well though, he doesn't usually have accidents and he is very proud of himself when he succeeds at going by himself!

Skyler is a terror on two feet! But a cute one at least! He was sick this last week, so I sat on the floor all week holding him. If I did anything else, he would lay at my feet and scream! So at least I got my cuddling in!
He isn't attempting to talk at all! If I try to teach him sign language he gets very impatient and offended! :) He is so stubborn (like his mommy)

Well like always our little family is dong pretty well! Hope you enjoyed!
