Missing Daddy!

Derek has Annual Training 2 weeks out of every year! They usually do it every June or July!
So this year it fell from June 11 - 26! It hasn't even been a week I know!
But for those of you who know how much I love my husband this is always difficult for me!
The boys really miss Daddy too! Xander asks me every morning when he wakes up, " Where's Daddy? Wok?" (work) :) It makes me so sad to have to tell that sweet little face that Daddy is gone for a couple weeks! He just looks down and says, "oh," followed by a big sad sigh!

The picture above is of Derek When he was in Iraq! I think this is one of the neatest pictures of soldiers I have ever seen! I wish you could see it better!

Another reason I miss Derek is because he is such a hoot! He is always do something silly or stupid, which in turn keeps me laughing! That is so key in a happy relationship!
I miss him trying to make me laugh all the time!

This is a picture of Xander and Derek at Silver Dollar City last summer!
They wanted to spend all day in that play place!
I do have to say it is pretty cool!

So as you can see we are so excited for the 26th to come around!
But it's not coming fast enough I think!!!

Balancing act!

We were at some friends house and Skyler decided to stand up for the first TIMES! The crazy thing is that he hasn't ever done the whole, use a prop and let go to see if he can balance!
He is such a strong little man! I am so proud!
You also get to see his funny bear crawl! I get lots of giggles and comments about his crawl when I am in public! I think it's hilarious!

All of these posts that I published today happened last week!
Like I said, we had a big week!

Playing at the Mall!

We were at the Mall waiting for Derek so that we could have lunch with him!
The boys were getting very bored so we went and found this little Kiddie area to play!
There were all sorts of things to play on!

Skyler has been getting so good at balancing, I can't believe that he will be 1 in a month and a half!

Xander kept asking me to take more pictures of them as they played!
He would let me take a picture and then go find a new toy so that I could take another one!

The Boys have gotten so good at sharing lately! I am so proud of Alexander and how well he treats his little brother! I love having boys! They are so much fun! :)

Zadia's Birthday Party!

Today is Zadia Ferguson's 1st Birthday!
The kiddie pool was a BIG hit I would have to say!

Miss Lilly and Skyler didn't want to get into the pool but they sure had a lot of fun with the balls!

Skyler really wanted the balloons! He kept crawling over to the get to try and get them!
Never did though! :)

It's cake time! She was really into that watermelon, wasn't to happy when they took it away!
But then she found the cake!

Xander really enjoyed his cupcake! Of coarse all he really wanted was the icing!

And Skyler got a bottle! :)

What a chunk :) I love it!

We had so much fun at the party! A very much needed outing!
This is just the beginning of a very big week!

Sneaky, Sneaky!

My sister Anna Came over a few Sundays ago, she brought s'mores with her!
Well she ended up having to leave quickly and she left her last s'more on the floor!

All of a sudden I realized that Skyler wasn't making any noise! I started looking for him and found him behind the end table with the s'more!
It was so cute I had to laugh and get pictures!
He has never had Chocolate or marshmallows before!
So I think he was a pretty happy baby!
