Have you smiled today?

There is nothing that could brighten even the saddest of hearts like a baby's giggles.
My little dimple cheeked Skyler LOVES to laugh. Whether it's his silly Aunties making faces at him, or his big brother jumping on the bed and landing on his bum, this little man will push out the giggles.

I hate teething!

Skyler is Teething!
Okay! So when Alexander was teething, there would be a little slobber, and he got just a bit cranky, then 2 or 3 teeth would pop through! Yes, every time!
Skyler has been a Slobber King for the last month. Then started the runny nose, for two days he had a fever between 100 and 102 along with throwing up every time he ate or nursed! Then finally, with a ton of crabbing, one little tooth popped through!
Wow! I feel so bad for my little baby! That's a lot of work for one stinking tooth. Now I think it's starting again! Poor guy. POOR ME! :(
I hate being thrown up on! At least this time we are home. This all happened while we were in Florida and he threw up 2 times during one of our concerts! He got both of his costumes before he even went on stage! Needless to say he stayed in the dressing room with the sitter!
It's so hard to see my pleasant, happy baby in so much pain! I just pray that the nest ones won't come the same way!

The Temple and The Beach...

We Decided that we wanted to go to the Beach, So on our way we stopped to see the Temple!

I would have loved to go in and spend some time there rather than go to the beach, but seeing as how they were my ride I just got to be outside.
That's a treat all in itself, just to be on the grounds of one of the Lord's Temples is the most calming and amazing experience. It amazes me every time!

Cocoa Beach

Xander and Gigi collected seashells in Xander's Nemo bucket that he got at Disney World the day before! Yes, they came home with us! :)

We love the ocean! The water was nice but it was windy and a little chill, so we decided not to go in!

Xander really did get a lot of seashells. He didn't understand that they were fragile and he kept throwing them into the bucket! He found some pretty cool shells though!

Emilee and Xander in the water...

I meant it! Just as Emilee put Xander back on shore a nice wave cam in a knocked Xander on his bum, covering him with water! He was so devastated! Gigi was comforting him while I got his dry clothes out!

But hey, at least we aren't in Wyoming...brrr!

Derek and Xander built a Sand Castle! They were so cute. Derek would let Xander fill up the bucket and then he would help him dump it. It's so fun to see them play together.

By the time we took this picture everyone alse had gone back to the car because it was so chilly and the wind didn't help!
We had so much fun! I can't wait to go back next year!
