2 Years & 2 Months

Okay, So when I get a hold of a camera I get a little trigger happy!
I think I took about 130 pictures of my boys all together.
I have so much fun capturing their moments on my computer!
Xander LOVES to play with Skyler on his play mat!
It takes a lot just to get Alexander to sit still!
So attempting both of the boys at this point is a chore!
But luckily we did get some good pictures!
So this is Skyler at 2 months old!
11 Pounds ~ 23 1/2 Inches
He is bigger than Xander was at 6 months!

Skyler is very attentive.
He holds his head up very well and loves to look around!
This is me and my baby Boy!
Do you see those BIG BLUE EYES!
This is so not fair! I don't know if Derek and I are going to get a brown eyed baby!
At least they are GORGEOUS BIG BLUE EYES!
My handsome Big boy!
20 Pounds ~ 32 Inches
He doesn't even have 10 pounds or 10 inches on his baby brother at this point!
Poor guy!
I got a chunky BABY! YES!
This is how happy he is almost all of the time!
My Beautiful Boys!
They are so much fun!
And so photographic! That is when I can get Xander to sit still!
Just having some fun with the Computer!

Well I hope you liked all of the pictures of my boys!
I love taking pictures of them!

I can't believe it! My big boy is 2!
It seems like it hasn't been long enough for him to be so big!
We had a Birthday Party on his Birthday!
Thursday September 18
Xander was so excited to see his Aunt Anna!
She is his favorite person at this point!
NOT FAIR
Alexander had a blast with his friends from Nursery and The Mothers Room from church!
Benjamin Berry, Nathan Ferguson, Zadie Ferguson and Lily Donaldson!
And of coarse their Mommy's!
Papa, Gigi and his Aunties showed up with Great Grandpa Jamie!
We colored animal masks, hit a pinata, had cake and...
!!!OPENED PRESENTS!!!
Xander got some WAY cool toys!
Lots of Animals (which he loves) and all sorts of little things for mommy to have to find!
Xander had an AWESOME day and was so excited that everyone came to celebrate!

The Zoo

Papa, Gigi and the girls came up to Springfield to take us to the Zoo on dollar day!
We met Megan & Nathan, Amber, Lily & Tina, and Andrew, Crystal & Zadie there!
Xander loves Animals! When we first walked in the gate there was a trainer holding this mini owl! Xander thought he was so cool!
My little scaredy cat of a child actually fed some animals! He loved feeding the goats! He was laughing a lot when Aunt Anna was holding his hand out!
He didn't really like feeding the giraffe at first because he had a long crazy tounge. But after Xander finally got the fist snack into the Giraffe's mouth he wanted to keep going at it!
They have these cute little boxes that sing and tell you about the animals. You have to purchase a key for them. Papa bought Xander one! He loved dancing to all the songs, and putting the key in the boxes!
It was a very fun filled day at the Zoo!
We are so glad everyone came to play with us!

Playgroup!

Once a week 1st and 2nd Wards get together and have playgroup for the little kiddos that don't go to school. This is some time for the Kids to get interaction with others and the moms get a bit of a break!
The boys and I got there early, Alexander decided that he would go down the slide all by himself! It scared him at first but he loved it so he just kept going!
He finally decided to go down the BIG slide. Waiting at the bottom on the slide was a puddle of water. He went straight through it, and that was the end of his sliding adventure!
I think he was offended that I was laughing! :)

After everyone got there we made bird houses! Alicia is helping Alexander out his house together!

What a cute little bird house! Xander really enjoyed playgroup! I am glad we went!

An Adventure with the Tippetts'

Nana, Grandpa Shawn, Uncle Paul, Auntie Jessica and Aftyn all came to visit us in July!
We decided to go for a walk and try to find a park.
We stopped at the Elementary school 7 blocks away and decided to play there.
Uncle Paul pushed Aftyn and Xander really fast and they loved it! They didn't want him to stop!
We finally got to the play ground and everyone had fun on the swings!

Auntie Jessica went really high on the swings, but Xander was completely content staying close to the
ground! Later the kiddos played football with Uncle Paul and Grandpa Shawn! Well it was more like fetch since Xander and Aftyn can't aim!

We played a little longer at the Playground and then took some pictures and headed home!
What a fun adventure!

A Heavenly Gift!

~Skyler James Tippetts~

6 lbs. 10 oz. ~ 19 inches

The Lord sent me another boy!
At first I was a little nervous. Being the oldest of 5 girls didn't really prepare me for little boys!
But I couldn't be happier!
Skyler was a surprise! But one that I desperately wanted and hoped for in the back of my mind. I think it was the Lord's way of telling me that everything is going to be okay in the end and that it all happens in time!
Skyler came with a week long labor but a 30 minute delivery! Thank You Heavenly Father! I don't think I could have pushed for much Longer!

Alexander wasn't the least bit confused when he saw "his" baby for the first time.
He wanted to hold him and kiss on him all day, and anyone else who tried to hold Skyler got the death stare from Xander. heehee I wonder who he got that from :P

I have the most Beautiful boys in the world! And I am not just saying that! I truly believe it is a curse and a blessing all wrapped together.

Skyler Brings so much joy and love into my life!
He is an Angel! He eats a LOT and doesn't cry very often.
Sander is such a big helper in keeping Skyler entertained and giving him his Bink when he wants it!

I Love having 2 boys.

I am so happy to have Skyler and I can't wait to see the man that he becomes in the future! Well I can wait! I don't want him to grow up to soon!
I love this little man!

My Eternity!

"Somewhere in my heart I am waiting for you.
I can hear you sometimes in my mind.
I know it may be awhile before I see you.
I can only hope it won't be long.

I have made a promise that one day I'll find you.

And I know you've made that promise too.

Feeling with my heart in every choice that I make.

Hoping that your thoughts are close to mine.

Can you hear me, calling you?

Don't stop searching.

Love is TRUE!"

~Kathrine Marie Warnock-Tippetts *1999

When you find the "one", time stops. If only for a moment. And you know! This man is my match.

I only went on 2 dates with Derek in high school. But we go even farther back than that. He was the cute little boy that would call me "SHORT" at recess in elementary school. Thus starting a 5 minute chase ending inhis knee in pain from my tennis shoes! :)

He dated some of my frinds and was my cousin's best friend.

Through the years my family came and went through our little hometown of Lovell, WY as we traveled and made our dreams come true. I always knew of Derek and of corse thought he was GORGEOUS! But I never really got to know him as a person.

Well not until his Senior Prom. (2003) My date backed out on me at the last minute and his couldn't go on the "DAY DATE"! So after one call and hang-up, he finally got the courage to ask me on a date! We had a BLAST! Just talking about the past and our dreams for the future I got to know the sweet, SILLY and crazy sides of Derek Tippetts.

He is the first guy I stayed out after midnight with, (actually I got home @ 5a.m.) but don't worry we were in a "safe zone"! He had invited me to go ith him to Grad-night-out! Again I had a blast with him.

Sadly our friendship halted when my family picked up again and moved to Branson, MO. More than 2 years later my family ended up in Lovell again to visit for the holidays and to do a concert.(end of 2004)

Derek had been sent to Iraq ant the beginning of that year and had told his mom to give me his address if I ever ended up in Lovell again. So I e-mailed him and our friendship picked up where it had left off. Not more than 2 months later I realized that there was more to him than just a silly highschool crush! There was something about this man that was getting to me. But how could that be when we were thousands of miles from each other?

He got home in April of 2005, and in May he came to see me. We dated and talked about marriage. On June 18, 2005 Derek took me on an exact reenactment of our first date and proposed to me at the playground on the very swings he said he first fell in love with me.

We were Sealed for Time and All Eternity in the Billings, Montana Temple on December 20,2005.

And so begins our Happily Ever After with a few bumpy roads along the way. But that is what makes it PERFECT!

Life's little Treasures!

Alexander John Tippetts ~ Born 09, 18,2006
5 lbs. 2 oz. ~ 18 in. ~ 11:05 a.m.
To every mommy, her first child is a miracle sent from heaven.
The dream she has dreamt for her entire life.
The reason she lives for tomorrow.
I knew from the moment I saw him that he was my dream come true. He was the love that Derek and I shared all wrapped up in one little person. He was mine forever!

To watch him grow has not only been my joy, but it is what I live for! Those BIG blue eyes looking to me to fix every little hardship that comes his way!
To have someone need you completely is the most rewarding thing in the world.
To him I am PERFECT!
I am a HERO!
His world begins and ends with ME!
There is no better feeling than that! No better reward than a hug that is stronger than any sorrow this world can throw at you.
On Alexander's first birthday I lost my second child.
No words can explain the hurt and the anguish that my heart carries since that experience. But I had a hero through it all. It was no Knight in shining armor who came to my rescue, but the tiniest man I knew.
He looked at me, waiting for my love patiently. Showing me that I had more to live for, and I couldn't dwell in my pain forever. But wheni needed to cry, when I couldn't hold it in any longer, he was there to cuddle, and play with my hair as I cried myself to sleep.
That's quite a load for a 12 month old!
He was truly sent to be my son!
The grins and giggles are so rewarding!
As are the messy meals, unrolled toilet paper and the clean towels in the full tub!
The first Mama and Dada made my heart leap. But the first time he blew me a kiss made me realize how blessed I am to have a son like Xander!
