Milan Fashion Week

Milan's collections have been by far the most exciting, especially in comparison to London. The Italian brands sure know how to use their prints and colours well.

Luisa Beccaria - so sweet n feminine

Gabriele Colangelo

D&G - with some kind of midwest theme

Bottega Veneta - always love their collection

& then a lot more designers to choose from.

Versace & MaxMara

Emporio Armani & Blumarine

NY Fashion Week - just some of my favs.

Y-3 was on a football theme with an appearance by Zinedane Zidane at the end

Was loving Tommy Hilfiger's pastel metallic dresses/theme

Reem Acra always with his simple purely elegant dresses

Dennis Basso wins me over with pretty dresses

Badgley Mischka (hmm wonder how a baju kurung with that material will look like)

Gorgeous book covers of Classics that I've been trying to find/read found by BlackEiffel.
Sadly my book collection/reading has stagnated. Can't seem to get through Anna Karenina even though the binding & paper quality is very chio. Been thinking of collecting coffee table books or Classics to store a library that is both visually and intellectually pleasant. One day, I shall have them. Until then, I'll have to make do with my very messy bookshelves still filled with strategy & finance textbooks.

Just had my spanish mini test.

and im banging my head at the amt of mistakes i made. death by conjugations indeed.
especially during the oral. im pretty sure i was supposed to use a whole lot more of imperfectos (past continuous) than indefinidos. I wrote hielo instead of helado meaning I wrote that the little girl is eating an ice (cube). accks i bet the teacher is going to laugh when she reads it. its almost as bad as me mistaking suecia (switzerland) for sucio (dirty) the week before. AHHH why do my linguistic skills fail mee..

Well, there will be a new teacher from Alicante. yay to the comunidad valenciana link! Except I don't know if I will be able to tahan class after work and if I'll even make it in time. Wonder how busy I'll be in 2 weeks time onwards... A ver....

Adebayor is a major prick.

After finding the net with 10 minutes to go, the Togo international, 25, ran the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of the visiting fans, evoking a furious reaction.

"The emotion took over me," admitted an apologetic Adebayor, who cost City £25m in the summer. "Now I just have to say sorry."

Adebayor escaped punishment following the Van Persie incident, although he was booked for his inflammatory goal celebration.

1. He is not a professional. An emotional sportsman is not equivalent to a passionate sportmen and is not equivalent to a sporting man. He knew perfectly well what he was doing and the entire time he was running up that pitch, did he not even think for one second? If he didnt, then he is really rather brainless. If he did, then he is major asshole. Either way we're glad to be rid of him. Its so easy to do the deed and be 'apologetic' after.

2. I cannot be an unbiased party with regard to the Persie stamp but you think with such a character, he is capable of doing such a thing. After all, as he says, he is an emotional person. In that split second he thinks 'aha! my turn to get back at u!' You never know.

The thing that irks me the most out of this is that Man City has not lost. The best revenge/outcome is always to win. To show that he was stupid to have let go the chances he had at the club. It irks me even more that it shows that money can buy results and that Man City was different from Chelsea being that Chelsea had at least some kind of credentials to begin with. Man City on the other hand is made up of players who have left their own clubs willingly out of greed, where no other club wanted to them.

The world is not right. Money is the root of all evil. The sport is ruined. It isn't a matter of Arsenal losing - heck with a lineup with Diaby and Bendtner, what did u expect to get!? But that players get so caught up by the money aspect that the sport just loses its meaning, the reason they play it loses its meaning.

SINGAPORE: Expect higher wage increases but lower variable bonuses next year as the economy bounces back. That’s what 192 companies projected last month when surveyed about their wage, bonus and hiring plans.

Please do.

eee wo zhende taoyen ting..

Forgive the lousy hanyupinyins. Been watching taiwanese tv serials and trying to 'improve' my Mandarin ahah..

However, since I cannot pronounce the different tones of Mandarin I will always suck at speaking it.

Speaking of pronounciations, finally watched the Valencia edition of Grid Girls. (I swear I only watched it because of VLC) the grid girls are so fake, its embarassing and so painful. they have very limited vocabulary and please, I've been to valencia and the sights. As much I love the place and I know they are trying to hype up the place for the sake of the show, it gets a little too fake with the WOW BREATHTAKING SCENERY and AMAZING, when it was pretty obvious it wasnt. n the screaming over the eels attracted some unpleasant glares of disapproval from the locals in the background. And as much as I think Kuijien is cute, he cannot pronounce Spanish. I positively cringed when he attempted Ciudad de las artes y las ciencias. Fine.. points for trying but still, if u cant do it right, u probably shouldnt. & I would rather he just pronounce the c in valencia like any normal english C too. oh wells.

is not having a very good artistic day.

Failed at making gifts
Failed at making meringues.. spastic.. who knew whipping egg whites was more complicated than you would think.
Too tired to try and memorise 3 different types of Spanish past tenses
The only saving grace is I've finally managed to figure out how to play a new song on the piano :) yay!

I'm really not a right brainer.
