i just had to add this
"He's like a Wenger lab experiment - a bit of Henry, Adams, Dennis, Grimandi, Paddy and Overmars - all mixed up and poured into the tiny body of a fucking Spanish warrior."\
one of the cesc fans on facebook summed it up quite nicely.

omg i am a girl.
shit hahha.. so much for the inner tomboy. Today was the best Wednesday or even fridays turnout ever. 16 pple! awesome! yknow when ure in danger u do things on instinct. apparently my instincts tell me im a girl. Stuck in a hop box position where i was headed for Home plate but Jian Wen one of the new guys caught the ball behind me. I thought AHHH!! SHITT what do i do!? apparently it wasnt just silent in my head well the later part of that sentence was.. so evyerone just heard me shriek! shit damn paiseh! and the thing is.. i didnt even realise i shrieked..! i totally forgot about it. until one of the guys started laughing at me. and told me what i just did.. craps.
it didnt help that my softball idol was right beside witnessing this little lapse in ruggedness. Incredibly embarrassed! Just as much as when Joshua rubs it in about how much I love Kenneth's throw.. I bow at his feet man at how beautiful his throws are. Utterly swoonable. The guys are just awesome this year and it would be an utter waste not to see them compete in SUNIG. Curse one of u other unis who doesnt want to play!

Picked up from The Guardian. they really tend to have great interviews/insights.
How Fabregas plans to save Arsenal
His startling youth is confirmed by some of his more relaxed early memories at Arsenal. "When I scored my first goal, against Wolverhampton, I went home and celebrated by drinking a Coca-Cola and eating a Kinder Egg. Even now I go twice a month to visit my old Irish landlady. Noreen is a very nice lady who helped me and Philippe Senderos a lot when we lived with her and her sons. I spent 2½ years there and it was very special. The last 18 months I have been mostly living on my own. My girlfriend was studying in London last year and she was with me but now she has had to go back to Spain to finish her course."
Other familiar faces have also gone. "Apart from Gilberto, Kolo [Touré] and Jens [Lehmann] - only those three - the team has changed a lot since I came. But look at Barcelona. Three seasons ago they were a club undergoing lots of changes because they went six years without winning anything. They changed their team completely and started winning again. Sometimes you need change."
Part of that difference entails Arsenal's readiness to stand up to increasingly physical opposition. "It's true we didn't feel comfortable in the past going to places like Everton and Bolton. But you have to learn and it took two years for us to adapt to this way of thinking. Before, we would know Blackburn and Bolton and the others would play this way and we were not confident we could handle it. Now we are ready to fight. Our objective is to show everybody that it doesn't matter whether teams are physical against us, whether they play the long-ball or good football, we will not lose easily this season."
Even Arsenal's European opposition now attempt to bully them. Sparta's captain, Tomas Repka, a former West Ham hardman, had promised to leave Arsenal's footballers in a clattering heap. "We were having dinner in Prague," Fábregas remembers, "and Tomas Rosicky told us what Repka said. I don't like to hear these words from other teams."
Fábregas duly brought down Repka, forcing him to limp away from a spiky encounter. It looked as if he had taunted the defender when he lay on the ground. Did he relish the "Fábregas the Enforcer" headlines? "No!" he laughs with a bemused shake of his head. "I've been educated to play football, not to kick. Of course, sometimes you have to do it because you want to help your team but I can guarantee I will not change my game."
Yet Fábregas's desire to display the steel to match his visionary talent can only bolster Arsenal's previously fragile brilliance. Approaching the fourth anniversary of his arrival in London another stronger and tougher side to the boy-wonder is already evident - even when he smiles sweetly and protests that "I'm not hard against other people. I'm only hard on myself."

Fantasy Fab!
Woootsss.. This is the season that the trio that shall be known as van persie, alex hleb and the very awesome cesc fabregas will blossom n do some kick ass damage. The cool head maintained by hleb, fab and kasper schmeichel were inspiring indeed and they played most outstandingly. This is what happens though when you don't do your research well enough for fantasy football. I of course root for Arsenal but totally forgot they were playing Man City, whose keeper is the cutest little boy on earth. with the finest genetics for goalkeeping. persie, fab, hleb and kasper made my list. once i found out.. it was too late to change, so kaspers points were sacrificed.
Sports is in my blood. While walking around with rachel during cca day, I was not itnerested in anything else besides sports ccas. Really wanted to try out muay thai and handball but i have no friends to do them with! Recre fishing kinda sounds fun too. and perhaps a go-karting trip in a mths time? hopefully STH materialises haha. Next 2 weekends will be the slow-pitch competition. Should be funfun! Trained with the guys n yvonne today. As someone who set this team up from nothing, it gives me a helllava pride to see the number of talented softies we now have. It would definitely be exciting to watch the guys play competitive fast pitch. Lets make this work! Bring Kenneth and his chio throw back!

these days, i either feel lost or a freaking dinosaur.
okie just being a tad dramatic but still.
finance & econs.
FIIM class scares the HELLL out of me.. scary knowitalls.. 2 saving graces are tt it actually gives practical knowledge AND cute spanish guys tt sit behind me haha
econs classes are a roller coaster of emotions because its either sad for being so old, scared that i'll need some other prereq before doing it or happy tt i actually for ONCE in uni like what im doing. but i guess, the older you get, the wider your social network gets and so it seems even tho i bidded for practically every class alone.. I really am not. thank goodness for that.

call me a girl but HEY YOU PUT ON WEIGHT is a bothersome comment. well at least I know we're old enough buddies to be blunt with each other. i know i haven't been exercising and the cheeks give it all away too quickly. It doesn't help though that I had 2 separate lunch dates with my 2 fav lunch treating boys and tea with the girlies (read: jayne, grace, lance) today.
u sure know uve been old frens when u can hurl insults to one another and know theres still love haha. I guess the start of school has pretty much been okay. still in the HEYYY HAVENT SEEN YOU HOW WAS SUMMER? phase.. introductions and all the wayang stuff are such a waste of time though. I need to do sth more substantial with my life.

I could be brown
I could be blue
I could be violet sky
I could be hurtful
I could be purple
I could be anything you like
Gotta be green
Gotta be mean
Gotta be everything more
Why don't you like me?
Why don't you like me?
Walk out the door!
omg.. the coveted ONE day left.
yayness
A real new beginning..
Let's be happening!
