That's not all we fit in!

A couple weeks ago all the family went up to Dark Canyon Lake for a quick cookout and fishing. It is so pretty up there.

Last year my mom started doing grandma camp.  Lucky for us she continued it this year.  After 2 days of fun the camp concluded with a puppet show. What an awesome grandma!

The boys did tennis this summer. It was the first year they have done it and they both really enjoyed it.  I was impressed that for being their first time Parker took 4th in the tournament and Bronsen took 6th (I think)! Awesome job boys!

Last week the boys went with Steve and some of my family up to the High Uintah Mountains on a horse riding/fishing trip.  I was super jealous that I couldn't go.  But it looks like they had a lot of fun.

First of the Summer Recap

This summer went by way way too fast.  There is just too much fun to fit into so few weeks.  I didn't bother with blogging much, but here's a quick recap of the highlights.

In June we went up to Salt Lake to be with Laici as we went through the temple.  It was such a special day.  We were so happy we were able to be there with her.

You can't go to Salt Lake in the Summer and not hit a Bee's game.  So that's exactly what we did!

The boys even got to meet Bumble himself!

Then of course we celebrated the 4th of July.  Our ward put the Elder's Quorum in charge of a ward float.  So we spent a lot of evenings and a few Saturdays stuffing napkins to make a replica of the USS Arizona memorial that sits at Pearl Harbor.
 All ready for the parade!

Then we headed down to the park for races and games.  I didn't get any pictures of the pig and chicken races, but they were a big hit with my boys.  Here's Kade and the other kids lined up for the big foot race.

Then we cooled down at Grandma's with some fun in the water.
Back to the park to await the fireworks.  They are my favorite event of the whole day!

Nate and Sagan came down the next weekend and it was Nate's birthday so we finally pulled the boat out and went to recapture to celebrate.

Couldn't resist this picture of Nate in the water after a totally embarrassing crash!

We've also put in a lot of time of the golf course this year.  I've really decided that despite the fact that I can't get below a 60 on nine holes, I still really enjoy golfing.  One day we had to take our dog to the vet in Moab, so we made an evening of it and went golfing.
