Baby Saucer or Walker Anyone?

Thursday, October 1, 2009

So I've decided that I need to get a hold of some sort of saucer or walker for Sienna to play in while I'm working over on the house. She needs something with toys around it. The swing is just too boring. I can't stand to spend almost $100 on something I'll probably only use for another month or two so if anyone has one that they want to lend me or let me buy I'd love it.

Ready Or Not . . .

Tuesday, September 1, 2009

Here another one comes.
Yes, the stork is a frequent flyer around here. Much to Steve and my surprise we discovered a month or so ago that we are pregnant AGAIN! We're not sure about a due date, but I'm guessing around the end of March, or first of April. To save you all the calculating trouble, that will make Sienna and this baby approximately 13 1/2 months apart and 4 kids under the age of six. (Bronsen turns 6 the first part of April.) Wow, our life is never dull.
We weren't going to spread the news yet, but I figured I was safe telling Nate because he's on a mission. No, he told Sagan with no word about it being a secret, so she of course told her family, and from there. . . let's just say it's a small town. So anyway, I decided I'd better officially get the word out and we all know that is via blogging.
Steve and I are currently very overwhelmed with having one more thing on our plate, but are starting to get very excited about having another one. We'll take our blessings as they come. It will be a lot of fun for Sienna to have a sibling so close in age. Steve keeps telling me this one must have just been meant to come to us right now.

R.O.C.K. B.A.N.D

Monday, July 27, 2009

I caught Parker singing a song to Sienna today. The first of the song was about how I wouldn't let him have the gun I bought at the dollar store until he earns it. Then this verse followed. Oh, this child of mine! What do I do with him?

Sorry that I couldn't flip the movie. I just grabbed my regular camera to capture the moment and didn't realize that I wouldn't be able to rotate the video.

Random Things!

Sunday, July 26, 2009

As everybody knows I haven't kept up to well on the blog lately. Here are a few random pictures. I've got to keep up a little. The first is of the kids trying to keep cool. I saw Parker laying down in the gutter because there was just a little bit of water there. By the time I got the camera they were all the way down the street "fishing" in the drain system. The second is one that I took just before we got family pictures. I thought it was kind of cute!

4th Of July

We had a really great 4th of July this year. We ended up going to the parade, then Steve went to play volleyball. My dad talked Bailey, Trent and me into playing on a team with some of our cousin's fiance. We had a great time even if we were in the B bracket.
I really loved the fireworks this year. I love the chance to cuddle up with all the kids.
I was so ready for this BBQ after a very long day of volleyball.

There was a rain and wind storm that hit just as we were packing up all of the stuff from volleyball. We were in the middle of taking down the shade tent. Everybody got inside until the rain passed. It was chaos! She wasn't very happy!
At the parade!

Camping In June

Sunday, July 5, 2009

We went camping a couple of weekends in a row back in June. The first weekend (these pictures are in reverse order) was just us. It was a lot of fun though. We went up by drywash where we could fish and ride the 4 wheelers and play baseball. I just love camping so much. I go through baby wipes by the ton, but it's well worth it.
The next weekend we went with all of my family up by Foy Lake. It was sssoooo wet and rainy, but I think it still turned out to be a really fun campout. My mom was really wanting everyone to do something "one last time" before Nate left, so this was it.

This picture is amazing because Parker and Bryn are usually fighting.

The kids were all about the 4-Wheelers.

That huge mud bog behind Bronsen was a lot of fun.

You had might as well enjoy it!

Sylin'

Parker was so proud of his fish. He just had to show his dog Moki!
I'm so glad they've started stocking fish in Dry Wash. We love to go there because you feel like you're in the mountains, but only 15-20 minutes from home.

Mom caught the biggest. Daddy caught none, so he went back the next day just so that I would stop teasing him.

This was one of the few times Sienna wasn't wollering around in the dirt.

Summer Days

Wednesday, June 24, 2009

Last week the boys caught their first toad of the season. They were so excited. We built a little home for it for the morning and then reluctantly let it go in the afternoon. Since then we have found other toads, but luckily they were a little less boy-handled than this one. Isn't that what toads were created for anyway?

Is That Cool?

Wednesday, May 20, 2009

Parker learned to ride a 2 wheeler a couple of months ago. He loves that he can keep up with Bronsen a little better now. He usually calls it his motorcycle and is already doing wheelies. The clip below is within a few days of learning to ride and as you can see he's already trying for skid marks. Now he holds it over my head by saying, "If I'm big enough to ride a 2 wheeler then I'm big enough to _______." Fill in the blank with whatever it is he is wanting to do that I'm saying he can't. Way to go Parker, I'm glad you're getting so big!

Bronsen's Graduation

It's for real this year. He's off to kindergarten. That is so hard to believe. But he is sssoooo ready. We are so proud of you Bronsen. Bronsen just loves his friend Tate.

A Quick Update

She's three months old already. I can't belive it. We took the kids down to "Farm Days". It was a lot of fun. Thanks for calling us Amber.
Bronsen was trying hard to lasso that bull.
The hay ride. Poor Sienna, you can't even tell she's there.
Parker loved the chicks.
But we couldn't keep Landon away from them. He held them about 6 different times.
We started at the Teepee. It was so hot in there, I'm sure those indians lived outside most of the time.
Happy Mother's Day to me. This was such a cute picture. I was so sad that Bronsen had messed with the settings on my camera so the lighting was all messed up. But it's to date the only picture we have of our family of five.

First Lake Powell Trip Of The Year

Heather did such a good job trying to knee board. She even got up on her knees.
Sienna's little "twin". They got their first Lake Powell experience together.

What a dirty face. We made him jump in to clean off the pudding.

Parker was so brave on the tube.
Sienna fell asleep in "the cave"
We couldn't talk these guys off the tube.

What a chunky monkey!

So much has happened in the month of April and I have done a terrible job keeping up with all of it. But for the sake of journaling here goes a very lengthy blog. . .

We celebrated Bronsen's birthday this month. I can't believe I have a 5 year old. He wanted a baseball themed party with all of his friends. It took quite a bit of coaxing to limit it to 10 boys. He wanted to invite all of the girls as well. But when I told him that since he was turning 5 and 5 + 5 was 10 he went along with just the boys. Later we discovered that we forgot someone so we ended up inviting 11, but the trick still worked.

The Cake

The Party!

Easter

We were a little disappointed with the weather for this Easter. I know some of you braved it, but we just decided to spend Easter Saturday at Nate's ball games in Farmington, NM. It turned out to be a fun day even if not very Easter like.

Sunday morning the Easter bunny found us. The boys spent most of the day eating candy. After church we went to visit at Grandma's house. The Easter bunny had left eggs there as well. With not going on a Saturday picnic and doing our famous egg roll we didn't even color eggs. Bronsen still asks me about any day when we are going to color our eggs and fly our kites. Some random day I guess we'll just have to do that.

The Loot!

The Hunt!

Oh the fun!

I think these Easter pictures that I got of Sienna are also the first pictures where I've captured her smile.
When we were in Phoenix last month Jeannine took the boys to see the Easter Bunny.

Here's the proof.

To Be Continued . . .

Okay, so I can't finish all that I wanted to. Bronsen's graduation and Parker's cooking skills to come . . .
