okey...juz wana post bout kayaking expedition during the June hols.....since it was a memorable experience..

1st day of AKE....
decided 2 meet up wif my platoonmates at yishun interchange, 2 board a bus 2 sembawang sea training centre...i reach the yishun interchange whr we decided 2 meet up. I guess i arrive there 1st as none of my platoonmates were there yet(didnt c any of them). Msg amirul n ask whr he was..he said he was otw...then, he, cheryl n fazli came....followed by the rest...we board the bus wen it was time... Reach the sembawang sea training centre n realise dat the other schools were alr there....they had registered alr except 4 us :p so, we fall in and began 2 register...then they ask 4 shirt size...sum1 ask whether gt xl and we all turn 2 look at fazli :D hahah. i cant rmb his reaction though... Anyway, a few mins l8r, we had 2 pack evrythng we brought 4 the kayaking expedition in2 3 categories: permanent stuff, bathing/sleeping stuff and kayaking stuff. It was rather troublesome 4 us coz we had pack our stuffs as a whole b4 the expedition days. So, we unpack our stuffs and repack them in2 the 3 categories...once done, we had 2 w8 b4 setting of for the Causeway in our kayaks.... When it was time, we carried our kayaks to shore..as per normal, my partner was Glendon Hoon Zi En... We took our kayaks, brought to shore, get off the shore, and raft up sumwhr further from the beach.... then sum1 press the 'horn' and soon the expedition for 2009 set off for the Causeway bridge...there was a lot of banging between kayaks. In the end, me n glendon were sumwhr kayakin in the middle of the whole expedition team.... Aft a long time, we were stil kayakin 2wards the bridge, the sea was rather choppy.... we began to feel a bit tired and fell back slowly from the top few kayaks at the front of the pack but we stil mantain our position at the middle of the whole expedition... sumtimes, i wud stop kayakin n told glendon to continue kayak while i reach down in2 my cockpit 2 gt my snack (i brought the most snacks in my platoon :p)..then i ate it slowly...munching and swallowing slowly...oreo i tink(cant rmb)...then we quarreled(lyk we normally do wen kayakin)...

Glendon: eh, stop eating and kayak la!
Me: shut up larh...

and we quarrel and quarrel....finally reach the Causeway bridge... had a break b4 setting off back 2 sembawang park and back 2 sembawang sea traing centre...gosh, passing by the big ships was damn tiring!!!
At first: hey, we reaching the big ships! turn ard it n we wl reach sembawang park!! woohoo!!
10 mins l8r: we reachin the big ships....
20 mins l8r: nw then we reach...
30 mins l8r: we are passing ard the ships
40 mins: we r.....WTH!! we r still passing ard the ships!!! itz damn slow and tiring...
50 mins l8r: finally man...we pass ard the ships..JUST PASS IT :p

the ships look near from far coz itz enormous..datz the reason y we felt lyk we were reaching...then since the ships were enormous, it took a long time to turn ard the ships!!
anyway...
we reach back and beach up....had our dinner and wen to take a bathe b4 proceeding to sembawang camp 2 overnite... dis time we slept in an auditorium(gt air-con!!)..i put my head down 2 sleep and guess wad? i slept so fast...usually, i cant adapt well...2 tired i guess :p

2nd day....
wake up in the early morning and walk back 2 sembawang sea traing cantre...had our breakfast...then gt ready 2 launch of for expedition to pasir ris park....kayak and kayak and kayak 4 a v v v v v long time 2 pasir ris....otw there, me n glendon were in bad mood, always quarreling wif each other, saying "can u kayak properly", "stop making this kayak turn", "stop eating and kayak" and so on..blablabla..... coz our kayak was lyk kept turning to the left and we were pissed off..... Aft a long time, reach pasir ris and one of the coxswain said, " Okey, nw lets go 1 round around pulau ubin b4 we beach up" and....all of us groaned...so we kayak and kayak...round pulau ubin..... then we became lyk the last few of the expedition, trailing behind,...unlyk the first day, wen we were the top few :p glendon was damn tired and he put down his paddle and kayak withhis hands lyk a dog! we quarrelled again then i heard him said sumthng lyk "i cud hav find a better partner than u!" I was damn mad at him and i kayak madly without thinking of him struggling to synchronise with my strokes like in MKE, pushing our kayak from the last few to the top few :D hahah. so, i was lyk kayaking solo :p wen we reach back 2 pasir ris to hav our dinner, he ask wad made me paddle so fast, making us top few... I said the reason was bcoz of wad he said >"i cud hav find a better partner than u"... Then he look at me strangely and said dat he didnt said those words...he said dat he actually said "i cud hav find a slacker partner than u" and that i have heard wrongly...then we both laugh...his reason of saying "i cud hav find a slacker partner than u" was bcoz he regretted being able 2 b the best 2 gt into the AKE...coz onli the top few pairs from previous trials(lyk endurance tests,MKE and so on) was selected...he wish he wasnt the top few pairs....coz he felt damn tired of kayakin... so anyway, the whole expedition board a bus to changi camp, home of the COMMANDOS!!! we had an overnite in the commandos hall...we cant wait for the next day whr we cud return to sembawang, gt our AKE badge and go home :D lolz... so the whole expedition slept....

3rd day....
woke up...took bus trip to pasir ris park to hav our breakfast(which was better than the 2nd day breakfast) 2nd day breakfast was porridge!....then glendon said that we wl confirm kayak properly... I gave him the angry face coz i noe confirm wont okey :D haha! true enuf, wen we kayak back 2 sembawang camp...we were the last few, lagging behind...last 3 i tink :p then we gave up trying to catch up wif the whole expedition infront and we maintain the last 3....coz my hand gt blister n i cannot chiong madly lyk i did ard ulau ubin.... Cut the story short(coz normal stuffs during kayakin happen, lyk quarrelin,etc), we reach back 2 sembawang n beach up...wash kayak, bathe...gt ready for badge presentation ceremony....gt badge...decided to go to yishun mac with my peers to makan 2gether b4 proceeding home...chat,chat,eat,eat at macs...go home...finally AKE is over!

Errrrrrr......hw many months hav past since my last post??? hehe...i lost count.. k larh anyway...its holidays nw, haha from my last post in feb til its hols...datz fast! :p lolz. Holidays gt nthg 2 do larh...damn bored...mostly gt ncc... NEXT UP: AB Camp!!!!! k larh til nw....i nid go alr...go eat. til next time...(in a FEW mths time i guess :p haha!) im off..

AHA!! gt new blogskin.....bein the parade commander the last 2 days is damn scary!!! i shouted 'sekolah' damn loud i tink....coz i also cudnt hear myself properly aft i shouted it( gt ringin sound in my ear,coz 2 loud i tink) :p argh!!!paisae alr....sry 2 all whu gt eardrum prob aft dat :p i was damn nervous n i cud c my arms shakin.....lolz!...common test is on for 2 weeks...and OBS is comin around the corner!! i juz pass my history class test(phew*)...gd luck 4 common test!!!

Yee-Haa!! Im 15 finally! my b'dae hav pass dis week.....but it also means im gettin old :p thx 4 all ur b'dae card n presents :) the b'dae card was given 2 me in a 'strange' manner alrite....by my locker......shock me at 1st 2 c it in my locker out of a sudden......i tot sum1 knew my lock number, lucky it was jus a 'slotting-of-card' trick........phew* :p thx anyway!! NCC was different dis year as we took a step in2 the "world" of instructors....muahahah!!!.....As per normal the basic 1s (the sec 1s in NCC)was seen a bit restless.......gt about 3-4 malay in the Basic 1 platoon......1 is khidir's bro, if im nt wrong :p (sum1 is scared at the mention of dis :p hahah!) dats all 4 nw.....i can onli post my blog during weekends...busy studying(EHEM* :p) im off!!

Finally, my platoonmates and I r on our way 2 become instructors :) Being Corporals, comes new responsibilities........i was the logistics 4 the recent CCA open Hse......the job is quite stressing sumtimes n kinda boring wen theres nthg 2 do......wen i say boring, i mean...
