How We Wore It// Fall Transition

Its been one of those months, where if it weren't for my favorite fashion post I might not have blogged at all.
I promise October will be better and full of some awesome posts as we prepare for Fall and lots of traveling.

Septembers How We Wore It is a Fall Transition look.
Fall is my absolute favorite and I am so excited for fall colors, jeans, sweaters and boots.
Our look for this month is inspired by Emily who blogs at Life With Emily.

I love this look that Emily put together. Especially the orange pleated top.
Orange is a great fall color and paired with the nude heels and handbag, Emily's look is flawless for day or night in late September.

Here's my take on it:
I absolutely adore Emily's bold top color however, I tend to lean more towards neutral colors in the fall.
Blacks, tans, burnt orange, sage green and burnt yellow are some of my favorite fall colors.
I went with a more color neutral pallet for my take on this look.
I paired a black and tan sweater with jeans and a pair of black heels.
Over sized sweaters are a MUST for fall and this Kerisma 3/4 length sweater is a perfect fall transition piece.
(PS. 3/4 length sleeves are my ABSOLUTE favorite on any top)
These jeans you've probably seen in 102858305 other fashion posts because they are one of my absolute favorites. A little classic "ripped jeans" look and the perfect fit for my body type.
My black heels from Sophia & Lee are a timeless addition to my wardrobe, perfect for any season and elegant way to dress up any look.

I loved this months post and as I sorted through my closet for a little "fall cleaning" I got so excited for all the warmer clothes I'll get to be styling in October.

Cabana Boogie Alison Style.

So here's a little secret:
My dream is to one day be a full time PARTY hoster (It's a real thing).
Growing up my parents were always hosting different shindigs.
My mom catered weddings and corporate events and threw amazing parties right in our own home weekly.
It's engraved this desire to mingle and celebrate life EVERYDAY with friends and family.

One day, I'd love to own my own party hall that can be rented out for parties, weddings, photo shoots, classes and anything that brings joy, fun, laughter, dancing and food.

Luckily for me, right here in Utah county, there is already an amazing lady who is living and breathing full time party hoster, setting this incredible foundation for my life long dream.
People pay her to throw parties and she is AWESOME at it.
Meet Alison from The Alison Show.
