New Years Eve

Happy New Years Eve!
Thanks for sticking around while I took some time away from my blog to travel to Sacramento for my Birthday, celebrate Christmas with my family and prepare for a new year.
I have had an incredible three weeks with the ones I love turning 27, driving across the desert, sending and receiving gifts, remembering the true meaning of Christmas and delighting in the joy on my sweet children's faces Christmas morning.
I have wonderful things planned for next year for FordOlogy and look forward to having you follow along.

Take a look back with me at some of our favorite happenings in 2014.

How We Wore It: Fashion Collaboration

Is anyone else LOVING this fall weather we are having in DECEMBER?!
Especially out here in Utah, it's a big deal that the ground is not completely covered in snow.

I was so excited when I got invited to be apart of a Fashion Collaboration this week.
We all know I rarely get to posting fashion with all of the busy kid/mom stuff I'm posting about, so I was beyond thrilled to get this "assignment" that pushed me to post about something I love.
A handful of some of my favorite bloggers and instagrammers were each sent an image and then given the opportunity to post our take on the outfit.
You can check out each of their looks through their links below.

The inspired look came from Krystin, at Suburbun Fux-Pas, and her amazing fur vest.
Here is my take on it:
I literally almost had IDENTICAL pieces in my closet and knew right away what my look would be.
I loved the mix of the fur vest and plaid shirt.
The color of the hat gives it the perfect fall touch and pulls the color from the plaid right out.
I adore booties and a staple brown bootie is a MUST for any ones fall wardrobe.
I'm not a big jewelry wearer as of late (can you blame me with a ten month old who pulls on everything?) but Krystin's simple gold arm candy was a flawless match up for this look.
And YES, I am totally aware that my photo shoot is identical to Krystin's. Oops.

Hat: Cotton On - Jean Shirt: Nordstrom - Vest: H&M - Jeans: H&M - Booties: ShoeDazzle - Purse: Michael Kors

Moccs Party

Everyone knows that when I find a great product for my kids I just HAVE to share it with my fellow mama friends.
Well, I have found one such product and have teamed up with YesPlease Boutique and will be hosting a Mocc Party at my house TOMORROW, December 8th, from 9:30-11:30am.

Tons of beautiful colors and sizes (up to 2T) available and for the unbeatable price of just
$15!!

Friends, there are so many awesome Moccs available out there and Hayden has a few Moccs piled up in her small (but growing) shoe collection, but as a mother of two small kids and with a modest budget, it PAINS me to spend big $$$ on a tiny pair of shoes for my littles.
Let's be honest for a second, I RARELY buy a pair of shoes over $40 for myself so spending anything over that for my kids who's feet grow by the minute almost seems foolish.
Now I LOVE the most fashionable and cutest styles just like everyone else, but I take pride in spending money wisely (since I haven't always done so) so that I can buy my children more.
(Of course there is the occasional ABSURD SPLURGE when I just simply CANNOT resist)

These Moccs are perfect for littles who are still new on their feet (if walking at all) and fit snug onto the feet with an elastic band.
Hayden has little tiny feet and we never have a problem with the Moccs getting kicked off in the stroller or as she's crawling and dragging her feet all over.
The Moccs keep her feet really warm, which is great for winter.
The are so cute in their fabulous colors and with their adorable fringe.

I hope you can make it out to Lehi tomorrow and come see these great Moccs and pick up a few for you little one just in time for Christmas!
If you can't make the party, don't worry, you can still get Moccs,
just send me an email for details on how to get Moccs shipped to you

Ten Months Old.

Today little Hayden is Ten Months old.
Another month down and only two to go until we are celebrating this little bugs FIRST BIRTHDAY!
We are having a blast with miss Hayden and as she continues to grow and learn new things we are all falling more and more in love with her.

Happy Ten Months Hayden Elizabeth.

(Ten Month Photo Shoot Bloopers)

At TEN Months Old...
-I am 17.5 lbs.
-My THIRD tooth FINALLY (just today) broke through on my top gums!
-I am in clothes sized 9-12 months.
-I am finally getting to wear shoes as I stand and walk
(Moccs are my favorite and I have them in LOTS of colors)
-I have tons of hair accessories and mommy is having so much fun dressing me up like a little doll.
-I am starting to get more table food and Dad sneaks me ice cream and Popsicles when Mom isn't looking.
-I can crawl at lightening speeds and love to stand. I can stand for a long time by myself without holding on to anything.
-I love my walker and push that thing all over, of course someone has to help me turn around when I hit a wall.
-I can recognize a few people... When mom asks, "Wheres Dad?" I can turn and find him. Same thing with Mom, brother Hunter and Auntie Haley.
-I love to harass my brother and I think I really get under his skin when I play with his toys or touch his blankie and Mickey. He DOES NOT like when I do that.
-I love to play with all of my toys.. I have LOTS and rumor has it that some Jolly Old man in a Red Suit is bringing me tons more for Christmas.
(I think I'll like this Christmas business)
