Lamborghini Aventador Pirelli Edition – fancy paint

lamborghini-pirelli-0001
This is the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Pirelli Edition, which commemorates the long history between the Italian supercar maker and Italian tyre maker Pirelli. All Lamborghinis have been equipped with Pirelli tyres since 1963 – that’s a really long time.
It’s basically an Aventador with a special two-tone colour scheme. No mechanical changes, according to the info that Lamborghini have released. There are two different two-tone schemes to pick from.
One option is for the roof, pillars, wing mirrors, hood, and intakes to be finished in matte black, combined with six glossy finishes for the rest of the body – Giallo Spica, Rosso Mars, Bianco Isis, Nero Aldebaran, Grigio Liqueo, and Grigio Ater.

Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 launched in Malaysia – RM1.2 million tax-free, RM2.1 million with tax

Lamborghini-Huracan-Malaysia-78
The Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 is now officially in Malaysia, having made its debut in Kuala Lumpur yesterday. The Huracan replaces the successful Gallardo in Lamborghini’s line-up, and retails for about RM2.1 million with duties, give or take. The amount for duties isn’t really finalised yet, but if you have the ability to buy the car sans duty, you’ll have to put up RM1.2 million.
The name Huracan pays homage to a Spanish fighting bull. The 1,422 kg supercar is powered by a new “Iniezione Diretta Stratificata” naturally-aspirated 5.2 litre V10 making 610 hp at 8,250 rpm and 560 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.

The 100 km/h sprint is done in just 3.2 seconds – wait a while longer and 200 km/h is hit in 9.9 seconds from stop, on to a top speed of 325 km/h. Power is sent to four wheels via a seven-speed “Lamborghini Doppia Frizione” dual-clutch transmission, a first for a Lambo and an upgrade from the Gallardo’s e.gear automated manual transmission.
Three drive modes are available – Strada, Sport and Corsa, in that order of how hardcore the drive is. The drive modes change the engine and gearbox logic, the all-wheel drive system, stability control, and even the exhaust system. Watch the video below to hear the difference between Strada and Corsa.
The Huracan looks great in yellow, as seen on the 2014 Geneva Motor Show showfloor, so check that out as well as studio shots of the young bull.

Lamborghini Aventador-EXTENDED!

Lamborghini Aventador-EXTENDED!

New RM14.5mil Lamborghini Veneno Images Leak Online Ahead of Launch

New RM14.5mil Lamborghini Veneno Images Leak Online Ahead of LaunchBehold! The Lamborghini steals the thunder once again with leaked photos of the new Veneno. Despite the emergence of the McLaren P1 and the Ferrari F70 teasers, Lamborghini has, it seems, a response, just days before the start of the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
Lamborghini has strictly kept further information about the hypercar from going public, leaving the rest of the details to be revealed in the Geneva Motor Show. However, it is known that the Veneno will be limited to only three production units, all of which have  been sold!
What does it cost?
The name ‘Veneno’ is said to be translated from the Spanish term for ‘Poison’. Information was sourced by The Sunday Time newspaper, saying that the new Lamborghini Veneno will cost £3.1mil. (That’s a whopping RM14.5m!).
Preview of the performance
Powering the new Lamborghini Veneno is a 6.5-litre V12 engine producing a massive 740HP (552 kW). Adding to the heat of the news is the seven-speed ISR robotized manual gearbox that enables the Veneno to reach a blazing top speed of 354km/h.
There is nothing short of futuristic when it comes to the new Lamborghini Veneno exterior. With a big spoiler in the rear, carbon fibre inclusions all over, long sweptback headlights and massive wheels, the Veneno is monumentally impressive. More details and specifications will be unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.

2013 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster

2013 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster rear overhead view
This convertible version of Lamborghini's Aventador supercar is sure to keep things hot even as fall turns into winter.
When the one-off Aventador J was unveiled earlier this year, we knew it was only a matter of time before a new production topless Lamborghini arrived to grace the show floors and casino parking lots of the world. That car, the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster, is finally here.
With the top down, the Roadster looks just as sleek as its hardtop sibling, thanks to faired headrests and an engine cover with unusual diamond-shaped windows, evoking a bit of Lambo’s Sesto Elemento concept. Lamborghini refers to the part that runs down the center of the engine cover as the “spinal column,” which is a pretty cool name for a styling detail.
The top itself is made of two pieces of carbon fiber, which weigh 13.2 pounds each. They not only reduce the Aventador’s overall weight, but they also make it easier for owners to stow them in the car’s front luggage compartment. Hopefully, the process will be less complicated than it was on the old Murcielago Roadster, which had a top that was more like a pup tent than a roof.
Other than the new bodywork, the Aventador Roadster shares everything with the Aventador LP700-4 coupe. That means a 6.5-liter V12 chucking out 691 horsepower and 509 pound-feet of torque. That monstrous power is sent to all four wheels through a seven-speed, single-clutch automated manual transmission.
Lamborghini says the Aventador Roadster will do 0 to 60 mph in under three seconds, and reach a top speed of 217 mph. That’s nearly identical to the coupe, and it makes the Roadster one of the fastest convertibles in the world.
However, the Aventador Roadster isn’t all about blistering speed and aggressive styling. Lamborghini wanted to make a more refined supercar convertible, so it installed a wind deflector and power rear window. The result is “almost complete calm” at high speeds, according to Lamborghini. The deflector can also be stowed in the front luggage compartment for a more visceral experience.
Lamborghini also wanted to make the Aventador greener. Both the Roadster and hardtop have cylinder deactivation, which shuts off six cylinders under light loads. They also get an engine start-stop system, with super capacitors for extra-quick response.
Other touches that are unique to the Roadster include “Dione” forged aluminum wheels that are 22 pounds lighter than the Aventador coupe’s, and an exclusive color called Azzuro Thetis that shifts depending on the way light is hitting it. This hue was reportedly inspired by the 1968 Miura Roadster concept.
Lamborghini is taking orders for the Aventador LP700-4 Roadster now, with a starting price of $381,000. Order one now, and it might arrive in time for spring.

Lamborghini Plans More One-Offs

Expect more special editions and one-off models as Lamborghini is set to continue investing in creating even more exclusive supercars. That's according to CEO Stephan Winkelmann who, speaking at the Paris Motor Show, said: "We will continue to invest in one-offs like the Aventador J, or like the technical demonstrators with a very limited number of cars, up to 20, like the Sesto Elemento."Lamborghini's commercial director, Fintan Knight, was also asked about these projects' financial viability and enlightened us to the purpose behind them.

It's both a tangible and intangible gain, because you can't replace a car like the Sesto Elemento in the value it adds to the brand. Even today we see manufacturers showing chassis, which use the same carbonfibre technology that we used two years ago when we presented the Sesto Elemento."The cutting-edge Sesto Elemento carries a curb weight of just 999 kg and, thanks to the 570-horsepower 5.2-liter V10 sourced from the Gallardo, can sprint from rest to 62 mph in only 2.5 seconds and on to an electronically-limited top speed of 186 mph. All 20 units of the $2.2 million limited edition track-only Sesto Element have been sold out.
So not only do these special edition models turn a healthy profit, they also showcase new designs and technologies that ultimately influence future sports cars. For that reason, Lamborghini recently innaugurated a specialty assembly shop where these exclusive supercars will be built for the auto-show stand, the street and the race track.

Lamborghini opens 3S centre in Glenmarie

Italian supercar maker Lamborghini opened a new showroom in the Klang Valley this evening. Located in Glenmarie, the RM4 million facility operated by JH Italia Sdn Bhd is a 3S centre to serve the brand’s growing customer base in Malaysia. Last year, Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur shifted 21 units, this year they aim to sell 60 raging bulls.
The showroom with the black facade boasts a “total Lamborghini brand experience” and is fitted with imported Italian fittings as well as a specially designed bar area for customers to “enjoy a taste of Italy”. Italian coffee, we presume. There’s a merchandise corner, too.

“In Malaysia, people who buy Lamborghini cars are driven by the passion to own something that is extreme, uncompromising and unmistakably Italian. And you can see there is a shift in the buying attitude of affluent Malaysians for design, quality, pleasure and pride,” said Isham Ariff, Chairman of Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur.
“Kuala Lumpur itself has shown some very encouraging growth for the marque and with improving economic conditions in Malaysia and around the Asia Pacific region, I am confident that we will see an increasing demand for our range of Lamborghini supersports cars,” Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini said in a statement.

“The level of service and quality we have invested into our showroom and service center reflects our brand values of being extreme, uncompromising and unmistakably Italian. Malaysia now joins our key markets like Singapore and China in terms of our growing brand presence and strategy for the Asia Pacific market,” the sharp suited Winkelmann added.

Lamborghini Gallardo Malaysia Limited Edition

Lamborghini Gallardo Malaysia Limited Edition

The 20 unit only limited edition is a product of a year-long collaboration between Lamborghini KL and Automobili Lamborghini SpA. So what they did was they picked some Gallardo LP550-2 fitted with the racy and aggressive bodykit from LP570-4 Superleggera. This rear wheel drive beast (based on LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni) contains the aggressive front bumper, carbon side skirts, titanium exhaust tips and a carbon-fibre rear diffuser frm the Superleggera but interior wise is similiar with the standard Gallardo.

The Gallardo for Malaysia
Interior wise remains from standard Gallardo
It remains the LP550-2′s V10 engine which has 550 hp and 540 Nm, and good enough to bring decent 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 320 kmh. Available on three colours Bianco Monocerus (solid white), Verde Ithaca (pearl green) and Arancio Borealis (pearl orange) and priced at RM1,680,000 (OTR excluding insurance) with three years of manufacturer warranty. Mind you it is only RM868,000 before taxes, so there a testiment that cars in Malaysia is crazily taxed!

Honestly, is this clearing the remaining Gallardo by Lambo?

Lamborghini Urus Concept - Lambo's SUV

Lamborghini has unveiled its first SUV, the Lamborghini Urus Concept. While Lamborghini insisted to call it a concept, the Urus certainly doesn't look like one. It looks production-ready and certainly sexy! The Urus (if it hits production) will go head-to-head with Porsche Cayenne, Land Rover Range Rover Sport as three of them are performance SUVs, and the BMW X6 crossover.

For your info, the name 'Urus' came from an extincted Spanish breed of bull, and is pronounced as "Oo-rooss". The design of the Urus thrills everyone, stimulating an imagination where the Urus is a raging bull, ready to rush forward and conquer any tarmac it encounters. While the Urus doesn't have as many angular lines as the Aventador, the former has bold and sharp lines so that it look rugged and fast at the same time. Not sure about its offroad ability though, but hope that it fairs as well as the Cayenne.

Lamborghini gives the Urus a 600bhp engine with permanent 4WD, while offering best-in-class CO2 emission figure among its competitors as the Urus is a 'family car'. Well, one advice for the kids, "buckle up!".

Since the Urus is a said to be a family car, it is a 4-seater with reasonable rear headroom albeit the sloping roofline and a versatile luggage compartment to handle the weekend grocery trips! Lamborghini's obsession in reducing weight makes its way to the cabin, where carbon fibre structure made from Forged Composite is used in the bucket seats and other components.

The Lamborghini Urus, although is a concept for now, should be hitting the road in the future. So guys, get your cowboy hat and a red cloth ready!
