We are alive!!!

 Ah...it feels nice to no longer have this blog decorated Christmasy!! Yes we are still alive! What with facebook and all, I rarely get on here to update because it just seems so much quicker on good ol' fb. However, I also find it even more difficult to get on here now that we have Konner. That little guy keeps us so busy, sometimes I think I forget to breath, but I am loving every minute of it. The only thing I can think to post at this time is our 1 year photo shoot with our little guy. I have a nice camera so I figured I could do it myself. This is what I came up with. I don't have fancy photo shop actions but I can do some editing. I love my kiddos and life with my family more than I can even describe and truly what I feel at this moment is life isn't perfect no, but mine is as close as it can get and I am pretty dang happy!!! :)

Our Christmas season!!

 This Christmas season has truly been filled with so much joy!!! We now have two kids, which means double the fun at Christmas. We had so much fun bringing Santa into our home for two little monkeys this year. We stayed busy shopping, baking, going to our ward pajama Christmas party, watching Avery in her dance recital and hanging out with friends and family. Erik had two weeks off from school, and it doesn't get any better than that. I love having him home during the holiday season!!

Tree time!!!

This year we decided to do two trees our big family tree and a tree for the kids because my idea of beautiful and theirs, differs somewhat. :) I have to say Avery enjoyed this a lot and I didn't have to feel bad about where she stuck all of her ornaments, so I got my big pretty tree with ornaments where I wanted them and Avery and Konner got to have a hay day with this one and they still do!!!

Avery's princess tea party!!!

 Avery turned four this month!! I can't even begin to think about how quickly time has flown by. She is such an amazing child, and I really couldn't ask for more out of her. She is so good and sweet, and I'm so blessed to be here mother. Last year since I was on bed rest, she didn't get a birthday party so this year, I wanted it to be especially fun for her. So, we did a princess tea party. She had so much fun, and I loved seeing all the girls dressed up in their princess clothes. They got dress up stuff I placed on their plates, ate lunch, had cake and ice cream and then Snow white came over for a visit with the girls. They got pictures with her and she painted their finger nails. It was so cute. She is one of my young women in church and she was so sweet to dress up and come over and play with the girls. I can't thank her enough! We also had all of Avery's favorite Disney princess songs for her favorite movies playing. That definitely added to the excitement. I love having a girl for this very reason!!!

Fall fun......and more to come!!!

 Fall is absolutely hands down, my favorite season. I love the weather, I love the activities, and I love all of the pumpkins! We always have so much fun this time of yea,r and I'm especially excited because this year, I'm not on bed rest like I was last year so we are trying to make up for that. Avery and I did a craft. It was kind of fun. She really loved painting it and I really loved watching her. Over the weekend, we went to a pumpkin patch and let Avery pick her pumpkin. We love that we actually have a pumpkin patch outside of the city! Can't wait for more fun this month!
