I know, I know, I am SO behind with my updates! I don't have time to sit down and compose an 11 month update, but I wanted to share this real quick with everyone.
Today we went to the NICU reunion. I'm sure everyone who followed our CaringBridge blog remembers me asking for prayers for our neighbor twins, specifically the little girl, Leighton, who ended up passing at 3 weeks old from an infection. Her parents are doing something absolutely AMAZING in her honor. It is called Leighton's Gift. They are trying to raise funds to start a system where parents, family & friends will be able to watch their baby in the NICU from a camera. Because of the strict infection control policy at our NICU, no one but their immediate family was able to meet Leighton. This will allow for everyone to safely see the baby!
