Get all the music out of my life!

Leaving for London tmr. Don know why suddenly i feel my whole brain swelling up.Can't imagine what it'll be like over there, have not memorise my scores yet. Actually thot it will be much better now that A levels are over but i just kept feeling more and more tired. Just received news from jek yew that tmr's ica is cancelled. I'm excused from ica1, it doesn't really sound like good news to me, I've been trying so hard to ensure that no matter how filled up my life is, I'll still doing what I'm supposed to do. But i just suddenly feel like i'm not doing my job well. Packing my luggage now, but i really donno what to bring over, don even know what is going to happen there... I really want all these to end quickly. Why can't i just totally get myself out of all these music staff. Why are these musical notes following me wherever I go, I hate music, never hated music this much before. Is this the punishment I'm getting for trying to get all the music out of my life, I really hope my relationship with music will end along with this concert as i play my very last note. Not going to touch the violin again... never going to.

Happy Birthday to Me. Part II

Alrighty, here comes part II. So after dinner celebration with my JVS pals, as usual it's back to home then to office. Then comes Monday, got off work really early to meet up LM comm for a meeting, gotto to come up with the programmes for the first few LM. Thanks to Yan Xiang for his presents and all the best to your attachment in Korea. Didn't realise that it's already the last year in the comm, come to think of it I'm the only person left from the batch of us who started planning for a new LM. I'm glad that we can see small changes in the way LM is now, though it's really slow. Still miss the group of us - Junhao, Rachel, Yan Xiang, Chloe and myself. We have the best chemistry man, I can still rmb clearly the making of our "Heart of Worship" promotional video. That was totally such a hit, and it really does brought a breath of fresh air into the usual LM that time and marks the beginning of the changes in LM. Anw thanks guys for the B'dae song. I'm glad to be able to spent a part of my B'dae in the planning of letting more ppl to be able to rejoice in the name of God.

After meeting, it's celebration with ma Clique!!!! Yay!!! Was looking forward to it for very long time. A nice, warm steamboat cum BBQ in Jean's house was what we had. I loved it, though I was really tired from 2 consecutive days of non-stop celebration and work that I slept on her sofa. Haha, hope I didn't drool. So it was steamboat, BBQ then cake-cutting. Haha, it was really cool as we had three b'dae cakes for 4 October babies. One cake for me and Jean - the two 19 year old, one cake each for the other two 20 year old( 1 vegetarian for Jek Yew and the other for Lihua). Then it was losta b'dae song singing and candles blowing cuz Lex keep missing the shots of us blowing out the candles, So we had to relit, sing and blow candles for 2 times. And we forgot to make a wish before blowing out the candles, darn! Jean gave us those little packs of sweet treats which we used to get in kindergarten haha, really cute. Really thanks to Jean's mum who refused to take our money when we want to return money for all the expenses, thanks auntie and Jean's brother, who unknowingly provided quite a few entertainment value to the celebration.

Our almost finished Steamboat
The BBQThe Cakes

The B'dae Babies

Lastly, it's with my collegue. As usual we'll all go down to Tony Roma's for steak and wine, cuz it's just at the Fountain Terrace, very near ( So all females don have to struggle so much with the heels). Thanks guys for the treat and to the manager of Tony Roma's for the bottle of Shiraz that's on the house. We love it! And thanks to Steven for the Elmo t-shirt. So after that it's home sweet home for those family man and women and party on for the young and energetic ones (we just finished one whole day of work, ok) at Camp. Can't believe how over-populated it has made the deserted Demsey Hill to be. Really hated this. The waiter say it gets even worse on weekends, OMG! Now we have one less place to chill out on weekends.... Alright we gotto admit that it actually is not that bad la, but we've already gotten used to really ulu chill out sites with only really a few customer in the entire place. Ya so in another words, we only patronise shops with very bad business then we'll start cursing the shop so that it's business will not improve and we'll continue to have a nice chill out site to ourselves, hahahah. Anw we each ordered a drink, finished it as quickly as we can and pulled ourselves out of that place.

Now there's still 2 more celebration left with my IPP pals and A-team mates. Part III coming along soon...

PS. The cursing part was untrue ok.

Happy Birthday to Me. Part I

After 2 boring years of celebrating my b'dae with work, I finally was able to spent a few pretty decent ones with my friends.

30th September, Sunday. The day before my big day arrives, met up with my JVS mates. First up, my close friend in JVS - Ah qi! Had to meet her one hour before meeting the guys for dinner cuz she can't make it (she says she has to clock in 9 hours of sleep so as to be ready for her presentation tmr morning). That darling gave me a bag of presents which I totally am so in love with. Content of gift package includes a hand-made tile artifact, a little twine made box which has in it, surprise surprise a beautiful silver trinket box and lastly her famous hand made card which contain the most touching words.

Hand-made tile artifact

Twine made box with the silver trinket box
The touching Birthday card

Went to NTUC later on to help her with the purchasing of some ingredients for making Oreo cheesecake, then it's the guys. Supposedly a 4 pax meal turn out to hav only 3 person cuz some darn person got himself so drunk the day before that he was having a hangover and sleeping his head off. Of course we don't bother waiting for him cuz the 3 of us were really hungry, so we left him a msg and head off to Sakae sushi. As usual with NS man ard, the NS topic is bound to arise, so that's kinda how we spent our time while queueing up. We had a good deal of sushi, abit of NS talks and thankfully some other topics as well. Though the dinner was a really tiny one with only 3 of us, but I thot it was really warm and sincere. Especially thanks to Chee Hau for giving up time with his family to have this dinner with me before booking into his camp at 2230. You're totallly, absolutely, extremely forgiven for not buying a present. Your presence at the dinner is really appreciated and is a good gift to me. As for Shen Yeong, you're not forgiven but still big thanks for coming and thanks guys for the treat. Congrats to Shen Yeong for slimming down and tanning up after his physical expandsion due to his attachment in Shenzhen. All the best to Chee Hau for your training in Taiwan, take care dude.

Shen Yeong . Me . Chee Hau
We shopped ard JP then walked ch to the back entrance as he has to be back in his camp soon. After which sy and I went to catch "I now pronounce you, Chuck and Larry". The first part of the movie was damn funny man, but it soon die down with what I thought was too many unneccessary scenes of naked men, a half naked Jessica Biel and lotsa gaying ard.

I now pronounce you, Chuck & Larry

And lastly thanks to Kenneth Ong for the very pretty flower arrangement that you send today. It was really a surprise and thanks for going through all these trouble to give me a present even though you're really busy with your training, i really appreciate the present. I really hope you're not angry with my "patient" joke. Like i've said it's a joke, please do not take it to heart. :)

Part II will come in after today...

[光阴似箭]

Have you ever have this feeling that this year is passing by extremely fast? Well I do. Maybe it's because this is my final year in poly or maybe it's because I serving the last year of my contract.
As I sat down in front of my lappy trying to generate ideas to start this blog, I began to ask myself, "Hey Felicia, do you still remember what you did for year 2007 from the very start to the very moment you are at now?". So I begin to recount, IPP, lotsa projects(both at work and in school), the few A-team duties which I can't recall the details, lotsa studying for exams and my 'As', my trip to malaysia and ??? I mean, that's it. I can't even recall any outings or events whether with the Royals, my sec mates, or any other friends though I'm very sure there was lots of it.

So here comes the problem, everything is coming into my life so rapidly that there was never once I could slowly enjoy or experience anything. I simply just try to squeeze everything into that small schedule book of mine until it becomes so messy and filled up that no one was able to figure out what the hell was written. For once I thought I was managing time very well, everything was planned so perfectly that every single thing comes in right after the another and they don clash at all. I'm kinda like the traffic light at a cross junction that tell the different vehicles when they can start driving or when they need to stop so that all of them can drive safely through the junction without crashing into one another. Just when everyone thought this system is supposedly the best and safest one without realising the traffic light was working non-stop every day and night, the traffic light broke down. Now, all the vehicles don know when they should drive or when they should stop, they crash into each other and they crash into the traffic light. Well of course this traffic light is still working, but it's lights are getting dimmer. Sometimes it's lights gets so dim that the vehicles can't make out what it says. And because of this, some vehicles nearly crashed into each other causing small accidents. They don cause any mishaps, just some abrasion here and there, but the other vehicles behind are thus stuck at the junction and was not able to proceed to their destination. And the whole schedule gets delayed...

So you see, this year was passing by so fast cuz I never had a chance to replenish myself and at the same time sit down and slowly digest all the knowledge, fun and experience I've recieved.
If you would have realised, the few "vehicles" that nearly crashed, causing abrasion here and there are my 'As', the performance this december and the talk that follows after it. OMG! I really don know which one of it should I give more time to cuz each one of it is so important. I just realised that I might not even be able to celebrate my Birthday as much as I thought. It seems like I really don have much time attributed to the iteneries planned. I never really had the idea of a whole day plan. Both the time and my body does not allow it, I'm feeling lethargic from all the studying and practising and not to mention work (I glad that we finally finished one more project, 2 more to go before I leave). But it's just so hard to bring myself to get everyone to accomodate to me, afterall it's not just me celebrating and everyone likes the idea. But I believe in the power of friendship, it always pushes you to cross over hurdles after hurdles regardless of how tired you are. But I still hope that this shall be the very last hurdle cuz I'm already beginning to show abit of the weak and frailing side of me and I don want this to happen. Felicia shall always be strong and super! Jia you jia you jia you!!!!!!!!

Yeah!~~~~

Ha~ finally NDP ended this thursday and all my saturdays are back to normal once more. though this year's NDP duty was not as fun as last year, I've really gained much more as compared to last year. More friends, more understanding of the other polys and definitely more understanding of a JC student. I still stand by my say, they are definitely kids, inside out. But they are fun to be with, and they taught me a very important lesson - not to get too obssessed with the requirements that life has set for you, live life the way you want it. I have no idea how long this idea has left me. Ever since I start working? Perhaps. But it's time that I should get it back, atleast for a little itsy bitsy moment, since all my projects have been completed. And I'm glad to announce that my weekends have been spent rather fruitfully.

Anyway back to NDP, we kinda had a little JVS gathering last thursday. Cuz you see, we have 6 JVSian doing NDP duty - ah qi, htien lin, ken, azmy, monica and myself.

Ken, ah qi, me and htien lin

Then there's my clique. Though I don't like forming cliques here and there but in this situation i really thought the right thing have been done. I don think i would have survived NDP with a bunch of kids who just get angry over the slightest stuff and totally not understanding of others. And introducing my clique: Sally. The prettiest girl after wanyi. Sweet, cute, cheerful and caring for others. Very responsible for her duties.
Nesh. The only NYP people in my team that I clique with. Very LAME, cool, owns a very nice Hp and he just dyed his hair into a weird colour for his birthday.

Nesh, Sally and me

Sandra.Witty, sexy(cuz she always like to do alot of simulated striptease infront of us), cute and very funny. Nnadia. Cool, very Abdullah Rahim, a chinese-malay mix, pretty and really have a mind or her own.

Sandra, me & Nnadia

Sherlyn. Very petite, open up to most people, loves to play alot and supposedly admired by a 25 years old parachuter.Haha Estee. Tall and lanky, opens up to everyone(yes anyone), daring and energetic

Sherlyn & Estee with the dreadful cap

Izzat. Very bubbly, humorous, cheerful and i guess the only person who don't have his own clique. He's a social butterfly. Shrek no. 2
Izzat & me

And lastly. The two didi from Woodlands Ring Secondary.Forgot thier names, so sorry. Been working with Sally and I for a few weeks. Pretty mature for their age and very vian.Haha. they kept using the reflective side of their Hp to see how they looked all the time. But Sally and I always see them as the cute didi.

Didi no. 1Didi no.2

I'm so glad we got our funpack and I got the orange one, thanks to Shachin who braved a scolding from the army to change it for me. And I got a green colour strip from Sally. I actually wanted the blue, orange and white combi - all my fav colours. But green, orange and white turns out pretty ok.Anyway I was very angry to find out that the green tea in my funpack has a giantic hole on its package and all its content were spilling all over my stuff. My "Made in Singapore" tattoo, vouchers, magazine and all other paper items all gone. Atleast my fan and clapper are still working, whew. My bro totally love the fan, haha.

So now that NDP is over, exams are coming!!!!! Next week's study week, so should I make use of this week to chiong my As or my examinable modules. Or should I just start practising my item for the year end performance? Haix, just when i thought i could really lead life the way i want.........

Suffering from a stuffy nose. Boo~

I finally got my much awaited for sleep yesterday! wee~

CRM presenatation was not that bad, it was the first time i still have to listen to lectures during a presentation, ms cheng just can't stop lecturing! OMG! the whole thing took more than half an hour and i think she took slightly less than half the time to lecture. But that's ALOT ok? Atleast she did not made us skip our slides or interrupt like she did to other groups. Phew!

ytd's SBM day, received an award for TEP. But i was even more proud for aunty Grace and Jek yew, who won the book prize(which means top students for their cohort).in addition to that they also got TEP awards.

Anw congrats to all my classmates, ex-classmates, Jiralda, Xuan li, Aunty grace and Arthur who received an award.

Sawadeeka, my name is zong mat tai...

Haha that's the line from my HRM skit. I was a Thailand intern, and I must say I really speak good Thai la. Never realise I had this forte.Friday was the best man, had a whole day of fun and laughter cuz we just hav to go to school for our role play and that's it.The rest of the week was project project project...plus plus Jek Yew did extremely well on his role as the gay manager. kudos to all my group members for the success of the skit!

So today is NDP Preview, woohoo! love the fireworks! so much better than the last few weeks, I'm already looking forwards to the ones on National day. Today's main job is back to concourse to filter VIP from the blue sector crowd.Tough job la, the blue tickets holder just don't realise that they're not VIP and are not supposed to follow the VIP. And they really love to ask redundant questions. And I missed the pizza hut that I was waiting for so long, they actually serve it for lunch today!!!!I was having duck rice at food junction~

Just something that I noticed recently. There are too many big babies roaming around. I meant really big ones , those that we'll mistook as 1 year old when they might still be like 3-4 months away from that. What the hell have their parents been feeding them man, are they trying to harvest thier babies for foie gras or what. For a moment I really felt like going up to the parents and ask "Did your child just had another baby for his snack?". Those babies really looked so severely obease, I'm afraid their blood pressure might be way higher than mine. Plus they look hedious and not cute at all. You won't be able to imagine how traumatised I was from the horror inflicted on my retinas. Gosh! The babies' future are worrying, do they have a future anyway?

Hopefully I'll be able to rest abit next next week, next week should the last week to chiong for projects. Suddenly have a craving for durian...haha

This blog ain't rusty yet....

Gosh! can't imagine how long i have not visited my blog. but i've really been so busy wif so many stuff - studying for icas, a levels, doin tonnes of projects, taking part in alot of activities and of course tackling my work all at the same time!!!! so in order not to take up so much time, this entry shall be totally picture-less.(pics shall come up a little later)

okay~ there's too much stuff that has happened during this long long time so i can't really update all the details, the following are the list of events that has occurred from june onwards:

#1 NDP training and briefing
#2 Ateam annual camp
#3 Jia Wei's b'dae
#4 Mei Qi's b'dae
#5 chalet wif yr 1 mates @ aloha loyang
#6 high tea wif JVS guys during their bloc leave
#7 watching transformers wif the royals
#8 Ateam graduation duties
#9 watching Harry Potter and the order of the Pheonix wif the royals
#10 watching it again wif meiqi
#11 NDP NE shows duties

Wow! ain't that alot of activities? and i've yet to include my icas and work... but anyway just like to says a few words to my fellow collegue at chrisford: alright guys, i know very well that all of you are struggling to get use to Steven's working style, but i'm sure all of you will get use to it eventually. you all are handpicked by myself to be in this team so i'm sure all of you will be able to work wif the person handpicked by myself to takeover me. There's still like 5 mths for you guys to work on this.... I know all of you are very worried abt my mental and physical wellbeing cuz i'm like so worked out but don't worry, ur boss ain't no weakling man. Thank you so much you darlings for all the concern. I'm tired, but doing very well:)

I know this is pretty random but Transformers Rox man. I'm so going to catch it for a 2nd time if i'm not so busy + Harry Potter sucks la, and the tickets are so ex.Damn it!

Another random, projects are shit la. they just keep coming and coming and coming... damn ass.
and my written test are so going to fail... WTH!

Anw today's papa's b'dae, Happy Birthday papa! Hopefully i can be home abit earlier to spend it wif you. i'll try, i promise.

Okay, right now i'm like so so tired cuz i just got home from work, but i promised many of you out there that i will update so this is it. details and pic shall come abit later. suddenly feel like getting a shoulder to lean on, but too tired to go search for one. haha. nvm, Felicia, you can do it man! useless me

I've never felt so useless in my life.
I've never hit this low before.
Coach is dissapointed,
mummy is sad.
I would rather coach scream and rant at me,
but he just kept to himself.
I know he's sad, very sad.
I am angry at myself too.
It did not happen because I can't do it,
it happened becuse i was in pain.
I tried to move but the pain just worsen.
I saw everyone moving infront
but I can't catch up.
At that moment I felt so useless.
Jerome was telling me, I'm supposed to live for myself
not live under the expectation of someone.
But it's hard.
That's like telling me to live without motive.
I'm very sorry Jerome, I just can't......
It's not just about coach and mummy's expectation of me.
It my expectation of myself. I'm sorry, I still feel useless......

Congratulation to Mylene! who've graduated from the Sch of leadership and development in Campus Crusade. Was at Mylene's graduation ytd at Faith Methodist Church. She was so pretty, her hair all set, she had make up and was wearing this pretty dress. I was so glad to see Jin cheng, haven saw her for so~ long after she went to attachment. And I don think I'll be able to see her as often until her attachment ends in September. Boo Hoo! Was very happy to see the other crusaders as well. We even made a very cute Meow-lene cheer for Mylene on the MRT. haha.Carol and I made a discorvery too - we're carrying the same phone! Any way it was a very meaningful night, as we hear testimonies from those who have returned from Gen12II and prayed for those who're going for wave 2 of Gen12II. All the best to you guys!
And just last saturday, I met up with Kenneth for a movie.Haven met this buddy for very long after he went into NS. Yup, so we went to watch Spiderman 3

Spiderman 3 is definitely a must watch except that it's ending seems to happen too abruply. Just a little msg to those who have totally forgot what exactly happened in the first 2 movies. No worries, because the movie start off with 5 whole minutes of flashing movie stills of the last 2 movies. Which is like so damn draggy la. But overall it's a good movie la.

Ya so kenneth and I went to have dinner afterwards at NYDC.We were hungry and craving for a good pasta and drink to go along but were so toally sick of the food afterward. Cuz you see, the roasted chicken Spaghetti Kenneth ordered was just shredded chicken with more than normal tomato based sauce and my Lasagna was not cheesy the way I like it. The cheese were in big chunks and they are not melted. You just get more sick as you eat, so in the end I just fed myself with the garlic toast and left the whole half of the Lasagna alone. And just as we though the drinks might serve as a little consolation... the whole idea just flopped after I took a sip of my genius drink, it's just weird la. It's basically soda with chocolate and a huge ball of chocolate chip ice cream in the middle.I'm like so sick of the Lasagna and I still had to drink this milky stuff which just makes it worse! Well I guess it's better off for Kenneth cuz his Elephanccino seems to turn out pretty normal but just abit too sweet to be so elephanic. So in conclusion I just fed myself with 2 slices of garlic toast and a glass of water.GOSH! and imagine we paid alomost 50 bucks for it.

But most importantly is that we went to K box after that. Can't imagine that Kenneth actually goes to K box must less mention that he sings! Haha. I was having a hard time man, my voice is like stuck in my throat and my singing just sucks.Kenneth is the dead kind of singer who just sit there and sing while I'll jump around, stand on the seat, dance to the music , i just can't sit still.haha. Kenneth I still owe you a dinner. Don forget.

look at the cups of drinks we had

Kenneth and me

Finally my blog's back to normal once again

I finally got the New year's photo from zhiyao. And I especially like this photo which all of us wearing white took together. It look kinda like a boy band or something......haha.

Ya it's been back to school for the third week now, starting to feel abit more like a student but definitely not motivating enough to be a hardworking one. Trying to squeeze as much time as i can to study for my A levels but there's really too much program to really find one whole day or longer hours where i can study. I'm really feeling so shit now. what if i fail my As?!!!! And projects are starting next week so it's gonna get busier. I'm already starting to see the light getting dimmer....

By the way, I got myself a new handphone!!!!! yay!!!!!! I was too busy to get it all along so I was using Huiyu's phone all while. I know he's dying to get the phone back cuz his father's asking him for it, haha. Sorry buddy and really big thanks for letting me have it for so long. And so after returning the phone back to hy, I was like phoneless for a moment and life was pretty quiet for that while but I was beggining to miss out on alot of stuff so I got papa to help me get that Samsung ultra 8.4 on my behalf. Frankly speaking I don really appreaciate slim phones cuz they seem so flimsy and fragile. I'm so afraid of sitting on it and crashing it into 2. And they're so hard to hold when smsing. Darn! I'm beginning to regret buying that phone now.

Anyway congratulation to Shen yeong for getting the overseas attachment at ShenZhen which he wanted so badly, bet he must be having a great time there with all the food.(that glutton)

A fulfilling week :)

OMG! There's really simply nothing to blog abt these days cuz i've been doing the same dull staff every single day. And finally this week there's something worth mentioning abt. Let's start with tuesday - a trip out with Mei qi. We met after work to catch "Mr Bean's Holiday"!
i know a chicken has a slightly bigger brain than a peanut...
Usually when we watch Mr Bean's sitcom on TV, we totally dismiss the fact that it has very little lines cuz the whole show's gonna just take ard half an hour. But imagine it being a movie...
Get wat i mean? So apart from the few hilarious bits that don even take up half of the movie, the whole show is just pure boring. No offence against Mr bean's fans cuz I'm one diehard fan myself(I even bought his teddy!) or should i just say it's just dissapointment from a diehard fan

Alright movies apart, let's talk abt wat we did afterwards. Ya so ah-qi was thinking of going to macs to hav a good heart-to-heart talk but i'm just too tired to sit and do nothing, i'm so afriad that i might fall asleep while talking. (sorry ah-qi) So i suggested going to the arcade and we started attacking all the kids machines. Started off with this machine we used to play during secondary school, where you choose to hit different kinds of pest that run across the screen

anxiously waiting for the game to start

we couldn't catch anything but we got ourselves fond memoriesah-qi & me

Then we continued with a few other machines and there was this kid version of Percussion freak. Just couldn't help laughing at the choice of songs, "Jingle Bells", "Happy Birthday", etc. It's so easy we got A+ for both times we tried. Ah-qi wants to try her luck on those dolls catching machines but did not succeed :( . But nvm most importantly we had fun. We exchanged our tickets for 2 pens and pencils each, and i got an extra lemon candy!

Wednesday came and we had GM. Got to meet the Royals again! We couldn't find anyone in all the rooms, for once we thot they might be playing a prank on us. When we saw kailin and lifa coming towards us with some pails and bamboo on hands we run like hell and hide in the girl toilet! can't help laughing! In the end Syaz told us that they were playing games. -_-" Our X'mas party funds were reimbursed and i got back most of my money. YooHoo!

Then finally thursday came. I guess all my IPP pals must be longing for this day to come cuz we planned to hav Sakae Sushi! Well we nearly had to abort the plan cuz Nurul was running a fever and having dizzy spells. But lo and behold by the end of the day Nurul was well and noisy(this is a compilment nurul) again, so we went on with our outing. We reached Causeway point at ard 6.20+, went to the toilet and was just in time for Sakae's dinner buffet at 6.30. We spent 2 solid hours there and staff ourselves with sushi, handroll, peas(which was suprisingly good), softshell crab, tempura... I was so full i had to go to the toilet to empty myself of water before coming back for the strawberry smiles. But it was a fulfilling meal, we complain about work, supervisor, Qiuyan was enjoying her peas and saying everything was nice. haha. And how can an all girls outing end without a neoprint taking session or rather two(the first one was not satisfying so we took another). let's take a look at them!

So much happened at work either but decided not to blog abt them, I did not blog abt work in the past, shall not make any exception. Alright this shall be it for this fulfilling week, oh ya Zhi yao finally sent me those photos we took during New Year countdown. Shall update soon. Tata.

IPP sucks.

Apologies for not updating in this very long period of time. Too much stuff happend in the past few weeks, from mugging for exams, knowing my posting for IPP, celebrating the end of exams, grieving over the start of IPP and many many more.

IPP was tiring and not fun at all especially when you're posted to a plant in Tuas instead of a nice big foreign company in the CBD. When you have to wear ugly orangy uniforms instead of smart office apparels and having stupid MCP boss instead of charming caucasian boss. And so in conclusion everything is just so gross!

But just like all NYPian, we just know how to seek pleasure out of the worst situation. And not to forget the savior snacks that serve as our energy boosters whenever we're feeling lethargic, kudos to Dewberry cookies, Apollo chocolate and lots of Mentos! And just in case ya don know wat's Dewberry cookies, it actually looks like this and taste totally fabulous except for the irritating part that the jam in the middle loves to stick to ur teeth a little too snugly.

I guess the worst part of IPP is that you'll be seperated from ur cliques and other good friends cuz everyone will be so busy and tired from work and especially when you're in Tuas and everyone's in the CBD. But still we manage to sought out a day to meet after work. It was a warm fuzzy outing where we had dinner and made Lex treat us to ice cream cuz he just received a $100 ang bao from his boss. Jek yew happend to have $15 worth of Anderson's ice cream vouchers, so we decided to have chocolate fondue for dessert.
we love our fondue and we know lihua really do
After dessert we had a little walk at esplanade, watched a mini rock concert and have our usual heart-to-heart talk. And the day ended... so when are we gonna meet again...

7 more weeks to go and I need a holiday so badly. Arghhhh!!! I hate attachments........

Open house 07

As the title says, my school just had our open house 07 (25/26/27) which was quite a blast for the royals. Our job seems pretty boring in the first place cuz we had to guard two big gigantic machines which was known as the DDR and percussion freak(or was it not?) but in the end we had a whole load of fun trying them and getting addicted to them.

khairul, ben and jamie addicted to the DDR

our booth to promote the arts cca in NYP

Hasrul's e chickentarian buddhaOpen house is always about getting the free goodies while working, but it seems like the reap for this year was not so good. The best goodies was actually Swensen ice cream which i had to go all the way to the audi to get a coupon before queuing for them at the atrium.

The highlight of this open house has got to be Taufik's Campus Concert. It totally was such a blast - for my eardrums cuz everyone was screaming, shrieking, squealing... I wonder how big their lungs are?!! I swear I feel my seat trembling! But it definitely is the best campus concert i've ever been to, he sang a whole load of songs(i forgot how many), he danced, he did acoustic, he got everyone's singing with him, he went down the stage to shake hands, walked ard... now that's what i call a concert, a real campus concert.

tickets to the concertAnd so Open house 07 ended on a high and good note all thanks to Taufik's campus concert.Hope there'll be more of such good concert to come. [Pretty dissapointed that i did not get to try the tyrolene, it was so cool!]

A-Team 13th Installation

Last year i was installed, this year i was upgraded.
Wednesday(17/1) marks a big day for many of the junior ambassador and a proud moment for us the seniors. the juniors are now officially ambassadors of NYP and seniors officially seniors.duh~.alright this year we seniors are obviously not as photo-crazy as last year's installation, in fact we were pretty much serious before the event.

But obviously we can't hold out this seriousness for long and right after the event we began to show our true colours...

As usual Hasrul just can't wait to show us the powers of his "assets" [his bum].

i guess it has already been a tradition of Ateamers to exchange their name cards right after the installation.the reason's pretty obvious-you have one whole stack of cards but the times we really need them is just so little.

And so we exchange it here...

and exchange it there.

We just can't stop! haha.

Anyway congrats to Nazrul for getting the "Outstanding Ambassador Award"

Congrats to Fizah for being upgraded to the President of A-Team.

And last but not least, to all my juniors for officially becoming NYP ambassadors. welcome to our family!

Pronounced dead at 1715

And the latest report of Survivor - "Card Reader". My card reader is officially pronounced dead on 1715 on 16 Jan 2007 by its two doctor, Lex and Kiahow(ironically the murderer as well). Ya and so he bought a new card reader for me, which i don't really appreciate. cuz actually i was intending to send my card reader to retirement soon and get another new one to take over its place. but anyway it's a sad day today and we shall always remember how my card reader has dedicated its whole life to serving me.

In living memory of "Card Reader" 2006-2007

Survivor - "Card Reader"

someone save me!!!! this second right now, i'm stuck in a gigantic trouble of a destroyed card reader. apparently that means i'm unable to retrive the files that's in my memory card, anyway thank God that it was a card reader instead of a thumb drive cuz, ya you know why. alright so now kiahow and lex are in the midst of saving the poor card reader but it seem like it has reached the end of its meaningful life but still trying to hang in there. jia you!!

Yup so back to to rm E314 to take our stuff. There was these two "Eiffel Tower" in the room, Hasrul and I decided to do a "Attack of the double Godzillas". haha

On the trip back home Nazrul, Eve, Khairul and I we decided to come up with a sweater for the seniors and the plan is still in process right now.

Some of the happy stuff that happened yesterday, others were sad stuff that shall not be mentioned. So that's it folks!

countdown to 2007 with Wah~

it's the end of the year again and as usual everyone meet up to watch fireworks at marina bay. i met everyone at 9+, city link and we squeeze our way through the crowds to get a place by the banks of marina bay. fireworks was expected to start at 9.30 & 11 but much to our dissapointment we only saw the top of a building spitting what was call fireworks for a mere minute or so. so in order to kill time as we wait for the finale fireworks that starts at 12 we started to have a little photo taking session. all the girls were like going " hey i want to take picture with blah blah blah" or "blah bah blah help me take picture". and ya i was one of them(excuse me i said "ALL the GIRLS"). so we got really hype up over photo taking and all strange poses started coming out. we took the photos using zhiyao's cam (and it's not gonna be ready till his com is repaired) and so it's gonna be 12 and no one was counting down at all cuz everyone was looking forward to the fireworks. and funnily as the clock strike 12 the first word everyone shouted was "wah~" instead of the usual "5, 4,3,2,1 Happy New Year!"cuz the fireworks has started and it totally was breathtaking. after viewing the fireworks we had supper at lau pat sa which was really crowded but we found a seat eventually. i had kwaychup and a few stick of satay which i "kup" from Zhiyao. we had a little tiff over where to go afterwards and we settle for MACs at bukit batok. but there was not a taxi in sight, and we donno where the hell are we supposed to take the nightrider either. so we walked very very far ( i really mean very far cuz we reached chinatown mind you)and we finally found the bus stop at boat quay but it was already 3++ and everyone was so tired and pissed off cuz we can't get up on any of the bus as they were all filled up. so we finally managed to get up on NR 5 where huiyu, boon yong and i got off at clementi to take the first train, while the others can just reach their house straight. obviously there was no train at 4.50am so we went to have breakfast at MACs and had a nice talk together. the train came really later then expected at 6.30am and by the time i reached home it was 7+ already. i really have to say this is one of the worst new year i ever had man. i actually spent my new year walking from lau pat sa to chinatown then to boatquay, it's like so duh. so the first thing i decided to do in the year 2007 was to go clubbing in order to pay back for the time i wasted on walking on the very first day of new year. Anyway happy new year to all! and i hope ur first day of new year was spent more fruitfully than mine.

chalet 27/28/29 06

Wow it's been pretty long since i last updated my blog. there's been so many things happening lately that i don't know where to start from. come let's see.. i shall start on my chalet stay at east coast resort then. i just had a chalet event on 27/28/29 dec. preperation started way before i can even remember, maybe ard september? the weather of the 27th turn out to be better than what we expected to be, i mean so much better. judging from the many days of cats and dogs pouring on our island i mean we ought to be pessimistic about the weather. all of us were just cracking our brains on the way to the chalet for a plan B just in case it'll rain(well that's gonna be a probabilty of 8.5 man). yup so we got off the train at Bedok, huiyu and i went to Giant and got the rest of the stuff we still haven got. think we took kinda long cuz everyone was like calling us and shenyeong even went to giant to rush us. and i say we damn hell hav to put the blame on the designer of giant man. huiyu and i had such a tough time looking for the escalator to go down, we're pratically stuck there with a big trolley filled to the brim. alright so we proceed back to look for the others, hailed a taxi to get to east coast resort. and ya i definitely have to mention about our taxi driver. damn him man, it's like we've got lotsa stuff to carry and so we hav to bring in a trolley we're carrying into the passenger seat. and that uncle chided us for doing this cuz it might scratch his precious leather seats. hell with that, since you're so afriad that we might hurt your dear leather seats then why don't you give us a hand. so that we'll be able to put the trolley in a better position such that it'll not scratch the leather.goodness! and so as we're travelling, i thought i forgot to bring my wallet with the receipt of the resort. suddenly i felt like so shit! so i was calling up mummy and asking her to look for my wallet at home. so she was like taking such a long time but did not found anything, and then at that crucial moment i remember that i left it in my shoebag that's at the back of the car. it was like "phew" cuz it's already 2.40pm and we're supposed to book in at 2.30pm. for a moment i thought shenyeong and huiyu was going to kill me cuz they had this killer shine flashing through their eyes so i manage to escape in the nick of time(double "phew"). and so we finally booked in at the reception and walk a long way(all thanks to guosheng) before we reached the apartment which was so itsy bitsy. so we had lunch, watch abit of tv and got down to preparing for the bbq later in the evening. at the same time i also gave my christmas cookies to everyone. really glad that everyone appreciated it. okay, so everything went on very smoothly but not until 5+ when the much expected bbq food we've ordered still have not arrived. so we got the guys to set up the fire whilst waiting.

we were like calling their hotline over and over again but it's engaged all the while(guess many people are calling them cuz their food have not arrived either). and finally at 6+ i received the call to inform that our orders hav arrived. yiyan, guosheng and i were walking like mad to the carpark cuz they do not deliver to ur doorstep. alright so everything was up and ready, people started coming and we had a night of eating, drinking and merry.

And as usual i'll be at the bbq pit barbequing and pinching the food everytime they're ready.especially the satays. zhiyao was our official food tester of the night cuz i was like asking him to test all the food orally to see if they're cooked. zhiyao i'm sorry if you had to frequent the toilet abit that night.

and much to my expectation everybody's favourite pastime is still "Mahjong". even after the bbq those who did not went cycling was playing mahjong through the night. and for a mahjong idiot like me(i only know how to play NingPo mahjong & mahjong solitaire on GameHouse) i shall have to kill time by playing minesweeper& spider solitaire on my lappy.

yup and before i forgot, teckhuat nearly caused the biggest friendship castrophe to happen and he really seem to be very sorry about it.haha.teckhuat you know what i'm talking about.

so the sun came up and it's 28 dec. everyone clean up, packed and went off leaving the few of us to fend ourselves from the boredom that will approach us. i spent the morning watching 早安你好 and 美食大三通 while the others went to catch a glimpse of their 周公 whom they missed last night. in the afternoon we had lunch bought by chin ee who did not came for the bbq. we went off for bowling afterwards. halfway through our trip there it was pouring again. huiyu, shen yeong and i started running like mad while chinee and zhigin walk slowly cuz they have umbrellas. and so everyone reached there pretty drenched, clean up, rest abit and started our game. we had two rounds of the game which i enjoyed vey much. then we went to have dinner at a nearby coffeeshop where i had steak with lots and lots of coleslaws with courtesy from the boss who have tattoo all over his hands. he looked pretty scary in the first place but my opinion of him totally changed when he gave me extra coleslaw after he overheard me whisphering to huiyu that i wanted extra coleslaws. i had a scoop of ice cream afterwards due to temptation from soonhao and shenyeong, then we went to send zhigin and chin ee off to the bus stop to take a bus back to bedok. while we were still deciding to walk, take a bus, or hail a taxi back to the chalet, GOD made the decision for us by raining. ya so we hailed a taxi and went back in a breeze cuz it was just so near. we watched pss2 and other shows, while each of us took turn to bathe. shenyeong and soonhao was so tired that they had lights out at 11+. so huiyu and i the two night owl continue watching tv and before i know it huiyu was knock out too. and so there i was alone in the night with no internet and noone else to talk to, just a 14 inch tv breaking the silence. so i decided to force myself to sleep and it turn out to be pretty successful. so i woke up at 7+ the next morning, shenyeong was already awake and soonhao gone for work already. huiyu was still snoring away. so another morning of 早安你好 and the both of us were off to pack up everything that has to be brought back. so by 9+ everything was up and ready(including huiyu) , we went to book out and had breakfast at the foodcentre next to bedok mrt. on our way back in the mrt we decided to catch a movie before i go for work at 4.30pm. so i went back home put down my stuff and was not able to check the movie timing on the internet cuz my internet was down. got shenyeong to help instead and we set on a 1.50 show-Night at the Museum starring ben stiller.

it's a damn good show that i'll definitely recommend. in fact that was my second time watching it. so after the movie i was off to work or rather a conference at national library. it's about music theraphy and cuz one of the guest speaker was invited through me so i had to be there. i skipped the dinner with the organisers and those speakers cuz i don't really like such formal dinners. and so that's how i spent my few days, i've still got updates on countdown 2007 but i shall leave it for another entry. And i'll like to say sorry to mummy for not being able to spent your birthday with you on 27th dec because of the bbq. i've packed extra for your angbao this year so hope u don mind.
