There's this Japanese restaurant, Sun With Moon, that Mz introduced to me last year. The way she raved about the place made me feel that the food must really be good. But it was only until recently that I had lunch with Al at their outlet at Wheelock Place (#03-15/16/17).

Apparently, Sun With Moon is a popular Japanese restaurant among many & we actually had to wait for nearly 30min for a seat. The service was good too, the staff that lead us to our seats kept telling us to be careful of the steps whenever we walked passed one (the place is damn big).

I had their Shogayaki & Hiyashima Toma set ($15.80++), which consist of tomato salad, miso soup, rice, fruits, pickles & of course, the main, grilled pork with garlic.

Wah lau, it's freaking nice. I couldn't resist myself from continuous nodding as I was eating. Al tried some from my set as well & I suspect there's tears in her eyes, lol.

The set came with drinks as well, with a choice of coffee, tea or lemon tea. I choosed tea & it came out well too.

Al was quite full from a heavy breakfast, so she just had their Chocolate Mousse ($6++) which was heavenly.

For dessert, I had their Matcha Tiramisu ($6++). Upon the first bite, I thought wings grew from my back & I flew to a place called Paradise. NICE! 好吃! Sedap! Oishi! Ok you get what I mean.

So ya, I'll be back at Sun With Moon again, maybe dinner this time round since they have a different menu for lunch & dinner.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Very long didn't go to Ding Tai Feng already. Had dinner at their Paragon outlet with Mz & JJ one fine day, which was a choice of JJ.

JJ highly recommended this plum drink, which was quite nice.

Mz had their Dan Dan Mian, but came out not exactly what she thought to be, lol.

JJ & I had the Dan Chao Fan.

Pork Chop as side...

and of course, their Xiao Long Bao~~ But seriously, it's not as good as the mystery Xiao Long Bao shop that Bro brought the family to.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So after dinner, the 3 of us went to Indochine @ Wisma Atria. It's finally Mz's treat, woo~!

JJ's Paradise ($15++), my Sex on The Beach ($15++) & Mz's Strawberry Kiss ($15++). As sensual as my cocktail sounds, it's the best tasting one among the 3 k.

Potato wedges ($9++). The garlic sauce that came together with the wedges was damn nice.

They have live band from 9.30pm onwards but we felt that the band over at Wala Wala was definietly better. They are more of fooling around rather than really singing.

The band bored us so much that we did stuff like this.

This.

And this.

There was another band performing for free just next to Indochine. We were looking at the lead singer's side view & thought she was damn chio. So we sent JJ to spy & take pictures of the singer before we decide to move over, in case she turn out to be not-so-chio when we look at her closely, haha.

Look how great his photography skills were. Lol. And apparently, he stayed till the singer sang her last song & so, Mz & I didn't get to see her 庐山真面目. But JJ said she's very chio.

So we only get to see Margaret loh. Margaret is a waitress at Indochine whom looked like Wen Lan + Horse. Horse as in the actual animal. Yayaya, we are mean. Mz & I tried to pair JJ & her up but he don't want. Wasted, lol.

Went back to Miss Clarity Cafe at Purvis Street for some desserts after lunch during work. Shoik eh, work still can go for desserts...I know :)

I had Twin Divine ($5.20) which was featured as one of the Top 50 cakes in Singapore by The Sunday Times. It's good, I like the richness of the chocolate on top & the milky taste of the base.

Apple Pie ($3). I didn't try this as I hate apple pie but the person whom ate this said it was good.

Mud Ooze ($5) which I guess is more well-known for its other name, Chocolate Lava Cake. I ate a little & didn't really like it cos it's not sweet enough for me, I've got a sweet tooth yeah.

By the way, those fingernails are not mine. Som pa!

And ar, the staff there are all poker-faced lah. No smiles throughout my time there but I can't say their services were bad cos they did what they should.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fren(s)h is a tiny cafe tucked at a little corner in Vivocity, Level 1.

I had their tartine (open-faced sandwich), which they were famous for. Ordered the chicken one but the staff came back to say it's sold out. So I choosed Ham, but he came back saying it's sold out too -_- It's only 8+pm leh. So I just asked him what they have & settled for the Duck ($9.50).

Undeniably, it's really nice.

E wasn't feeling exactly hungry, so he had their Salad ($9.50) which was a huge portion. Wrong move, haha.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Went to Keppel Island!

The place has a good sea view with a nice ambience.

Was torn between Prive Bakery Cafe & tcc for desserts. Decided to have the latter in the end cos I still haven't use their membership card yet, but the place is so small lah. Luckily we got the window seats with a nice view.

Anyway, the desserts were Warm Vanilla Bread Pudding ($7.90++) & Strawberry Mousseline ($6.90++) With Ice-Cream ($2.50++). Not bad not bad, the desserts were like a piece of art.

Wanted to try their Dark Devotion, which is their famous chocolate lava cake but wasn't feeling well that day, so gave chocolate a pass.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tom's Palette at Shaw Centre is back after a month closure for expansion & renovation. Eunice said they bought a new ice-cream maker & the ice-cream should taste denser now. However, a new ice-cream maker means a need to change the recipie a bit.

I had Longan & Red Date, & my favourite, Salted Caramel Cheesecake ($2.50 for a samll cup) while Ying had Granny's Favourite & Black Seseme. Eunice asked for my comment & I told her there's something missing in the Salted Caramel Cheesecake, the old recipie was better.

Give them some time to iron things out, they will be better.

Had lunch with JJ's fun-loving family at a restaurant at Jurong East to celebrate his brithday. Didn't take any pictures of the food cos it's not very nice for his family to wait for me, lol.

Sing song~

Thanks to his Er-Jie for the lunch treat. She looked as if she's the one celebrating her birthday, smiled so happily, lol.

Purposely pointed to him to show that it's his birthday, haha.

After lunch, we parted with his family & went ahead to watch "Get Smart". Quite a funny movie. Proceeded to Vivocity's Brotzeit for dinner & nice, cool beer after that.

The ambience was so nice that Mz fell asleep unknowingly, hahaha.

We shared a Pork Knuckles ($36++) that they were famous for, a Sausage Platter ($29.90++) & 2 beers ($7.60++ & $8++).

The food's nice but were a tad too salty. Beer was really great thought, served on the tap. The service was lacklustre initially but got better as the dinner goes on. The chef was very friendly though, I saw him walked out of the kitchen & he smiled to me. He's quite handsome leh, wahaha.

Went to HortPark after the dinner & we still had an hour to the time that I made reservation with Kha, a modern Thai restaurant within HortPark itself.

Thus, we went to walk a bit of the Alexandra Bridge & explored the very big HortPark to kill some time. Not long, it's time to go Kha~

The ambience there was very nice & I purposely made request for their outdoor seats by the pool with nice sofa seats.

This is their complimentary Rice Cracker with some peanut sauce. Hey it's very nice & was quite surprised that they gave us 2 plates of it, quite generous of them.

We only had drinks over there & I had their Thai Iced Tea ($8++). Wanted to get alcoholic drink initially but was attracted to their Thai Iced Tea. Glad that I ordered this cos it was really nice.

JJ & Wj got the hot chocolate ($8++) & it tasted just like chocolate milk.

Sh had their mocktail, Jambu ($13++) & it tasted very healthy.

I actually forgot to take picture of what Mz had, but well, she had tequila ($14++), the only person whom drank alcohol there, really 酒鬼 sia, haha.

A dessert that consist of coconut, mango & sago ($15++, but forgot te name liao) was ordered to act as a "cake" for JJ. But they very what lah, they played birthday song 3 times before us as 3 other persons were celebrating their birthday that night as well. But they didn't play for us *%!#%@!

Service was not too great also cos they seem to be more keen on serving high flyers. Was talking to one of the staff about the special request (getting them to send the dessert over with a candle) when 1 ang moh came & she started talking to him & neglected my presence. Freaking angry.

Also, I actually made a call before we came to arrange the request but they forgotten about it, damn. Lucky I'm smart enough to double confirm with them when we arrived.

A group of people that sat beside us had a lot of balloons & they didn't take it with them when they left, so we thought they don't want it.

We tied the lightstick that I brought to the balloon & decided to let it fly.

Took pictures with the balloon before we let it go & luckily we did that cos a couple from the group came back to retrieve the balloon.

The guys seem to be more excited in letting the balloons go rather than holding & taking a picture with it, lol.

It was 12am when we were at the bus stop & it's officially JJ's 21st. We wished him, clapped, yelled & all, lol. Luckily there's no one around.
